It'll have 2 separate campaigns, one in Japan through Camp Fire and the west through Kickstarter. I guess Camp Fire lets you "pre open" your page as a preview before actually letting you put money in.

That's the thing, Bamco already had the game rights to LWA (which is how they somehow had more input in the LWA game than Trigger themselves) but this seems like a completely independent thing.

Seeing as this is probably the only new LWA thing we'll get in a long while, the campaigns are likely to make it as feature filled as possible. So a fully voiced story mode, a larger roster of characters that include the mobs, online multiplayer, and whatever else they have.

Because reading through the page and the first announcement, it makes this seem like the proje t first started out as a tech demo for the devs anti motion sickness tech but figured they could try and fund a full game out of it.

I like flying in VR, and casting magic while flying could be intense, but I don't know how the game will be structured to justify costing more than $20. My favorite thing about LWA are the characters, so to spend most of the time far away from those characters is unappealing. Plus it took me a while to not get queasy from Ace Combat VR; can't imagine this.
