I am on a Ryzen 7 1700x and i have been trying to emulate Mario Odyssey even with a complete shader i downloaded and it's been a complete mess of stutters and slow framerates. What am i doing wrong? I have seen videos of people with worse CPUs then me and they get better performance.

Recently beat Metroid Prime.
It was fine. Enjoyed it more than Fusion, but really lacks the endgame absurdity of Super. Once they introduce those Yellow/Purple elite space pirates that're just a chore to fight, it's a slog.
Intend to get around to Metroid Prime 2 soon. Beat Prime 3 some time ago, thought it was kinda fucking boring.

Also been trying to emulate shinobi from 2002 for the ps2 pcsx2 fucking stinks and sometimes my button configurations will just stop working, some buttons will still work but some won't and sometimes reconfiguring the controls dosnt even work and it's just so annoying
