An indie platformer without ugly 8 bit graphics

Its one way, but its cumbersome (you can pull box while someone is standing on it, so your teammate have to jump, you grab and pull again etc.). I found funnier way. Get knight with magnetic shield, grab box, teammate on box and catapult him upwards like a rocket.

Super Meat Boy has ugly 2D graphics though.

No but I played it with my nephew.

Microsoft Game studios aka infinite money.

Nothing indie about it.

A couple more:
>Trine series
>Dust Elysian Tale
>Apotheon
>The Swapper
Not the most well known games, but they're all worth playing and have amazing & unique visuals.

Microsoft didn't pay the devs as much as you might think

>Moon Studios is an independent video game development studio, founded in 2010 by Thomas Mahler (former Cinematic Artist at Blizzard Entertainment) and Gennadiy Korol (former Senior Graphics Engineer at Animation Lab). The company mainly focuses on highly refined gameplay mechanics within its products and prides itself on an excessive 'iterative polish' process. Moon Studios is a distributed development house: All team members are spread throughout the world, allowing Moon to work with the best and most talented people in the games industry.
>In 2011, Moon Studios became a Microsoft First Party Developer and is now working on Ori and the Will of the Wisps.
>Microsoft First Party Developer
Nice independant devs you got there lol.

Shit and Sanctuary looks like absolute garbage, is garbage and tries to be a clone of garbage.

Hollow Knight is undeniable kino and the best indie game and best metroidvania game of all time.

Ori is a Microsoft owned IP hence why it's first party, but the studio is independent. ;-)
