I can agree, played over 120 hours with like 110 on Ironclad and still never get bored.

It's too addictive, and also the only fun character is the Defect.

ironclad > defect > silent when it comes to fun imo
ironclad has the most ways to win

>didnt go on sale during the gog summer sale like two weeks ago
>its 50% off Steam now
Absolutelyfuckingdisgusting

Whats the appeal? Tried it for an hour or so and didn't really click for me

Unlock the other characters and cards.

Your deck is constantly evolving and you have to build to beat the challenges you'll face based on the cards you're given.
It's very divergent and I surprisingly never really feel like RNG fucks me over, aside from the higher difficulties.

Great game, but overall enjoyed FTL and Cryptofthe Necrodancer more

It hooked me for about 10 hours but I feel like it needed some additional things to flesh it out more, maybe an additional progression system and more encounters

Good choices too.

I didn't like the last challenges of crypt. FTL? Actually kind of perfect, aside from the fact that I suck at it.

The game should have more than 3 characters. And no mods don't make up for it. The balance for mod characters are all over the place. It's like mugen versus an actual fighting game.

Same. I couldnt stop playing for a couple of days, but once you start doing ascensions it kind of gets stale. More characters could help.

that's not Hotline Miami

That's just because La Mulana technically isn't indie.

Crypt wins thanks to having gameplay that doesn't necessitate pausing every millisecond to optimize the gameplay.

I really like it. I'm creating a game similar to it except you can capture, summon and fuse enemy creatures, it has more card types, and it has a more advanced combat system. A deckbuilding rougelike was an awesome idea.

>some runs take me 2hrs
Am I a brainlet?

It’s good. Drafting card games are comfy and I’m addicted to them.

god i had such a good time the other day
>reaper shows up on reptomancer fight
>heal to full hp on the brink of death
run took me 2h because i left it running in the background for a bit

runs take me 50-70 minutes on average
2 hours seems a bit much

are you using an engine, or are you building it from the ground up?
is that you liq?

it seriously hooked me for a good few weeks but I burned out on the game hard after that and haven't played it for months
maybe it's been long enough for me to get hooked on it again

The Silent looks like THAT!?

one of the devs of this game gave a presentation on the development
they went into the balance aspect which i found interesting, i'd recommend giving it a look

Dropped It after 90h.
There is too much luck involved in having a deck that isn't absolute shit.
Also the world, enemies and random encounters are really boring.

nice way to spell "braid"

no, she looks like this

You messed up searching for a Hotline Miami pic.

Same here, played like 60h before getting burned. I haven't even tried yet to play daily climbs and defect ascension

Isn't it true that it's 100% rng?
