On one hand most acknowledge that in terms of core mechanics it's really damn good, to the point that if it got put to good use it could probably be the best of the series. On the other hand, everything else is a mess. it's more of a grind than Peace Walker, all the shit you can build mean nothing when the game promotes non-lethal futons for all solutions, the open world contributes nothing but obnoxious downtime between areas and breaking the game by letting you escape liberally, and the content simply does not have the level design to truly let the mechanics shine. And on top of all of that, the story felt unfinished and rushed because of Konami's meddling, culminating in Kingdom of the Flies resolving where Eli went with the Metal Gear but being uncompleted and stuck in a deluxe edition DVD.

The flying thing that fencer is doing isn't something you can do in edf 4.1, but it has it's own crazy mobility option for him which is dash canceling by dashing and immediately firing a melee weapon (like a blasthole spear, his bread and butter) but there's 3 other classes can have fun with too. God I can't wait for EDF 5 to come out for PC. Also I hope you like punching things with giant robots

you have to wait 4 seconds between each c4 detonation, it's an invisible nerf in the game. If you detonate within 4 second, you only get half the damage from the last detonation.
so basically, you did 100% damage, then 50% damage and 25% damage on the third there.
considering you can only carry 7 c4 at level 25 and a late wave on HoE probably sends something like 6fp + 10fp at you, you really have to keep this in mind
