Raids are a joke. All healing and tank mechanics are scripted, literally just a single platform boss tank and spank. You can literally heal the hardest encounters in the game as an AST without touching a fucking card.

Classes and animations are boring. Look at NIN and DRG. Payoff at max level fucking boring. DRG has a reskinned Doom Spike thats just a reskin of a reskinned doomspike. NIN has to stand still to just do a clunky fucking mechanic that means nothing because you're a trick attack bot.

It's WoW for braindead weebs who still think their princess that will save them from a life of fucking loneliness might be the WHM that healed their last boring fucking dungeon.

What does the level 255 dancer gear you get from the unlock quest look like?

Don't call 1-60 content. Its just you pressing two buttons max for 50 hours while skipping the story. SHIT IS BORING.

FFXIV is basically what if WoW remained around more-or-less WotLK level of quality consistently. It also avoids the problem that WoW has with expansions basically becoming worthless content once the new one comes out. People still run old raids and dungeons for various reasons all the time, so you’ll never feel like the ship has sailed.
Do note that the games start is about as glacial as it can get, but getting to endgame is also less important overall.
