Vita means life. Also, give it a year or two.

EOPs are getting the sequel now? That's nice. I liked NG slightly more than Death Mark, Kaguya a CUTE.
>Mary
It's Merry. Dumb Americans just don't understand how words work.
Whose Wander Rabbit version did you like? Seiji's or gothic girl's?
I'm not a fujo, so obviously Hazuki's. I wish there was an upload of the voice drama/soundtrack, the chinks put the Death Mark one up, but the NG one is still import only.
Her releases are pretty sporadic tho. Thank god we have the localization now.
I wonder how they'll translate the eponymous NG. They'll probably just leave it as is, like hyakki yagyo.
It's just an abbreviation of No Good.
No, it isn't. Did you even play the game?

The url of the game site is a dead giveaway.
NG as a term already has that meaning in Japanese, but in the context of the game NG is also the thing Kaguya doesn't want you to know about. It's a title with a dual meaning.
Is the MC of the first game a side character in this one?
Technically? You won't see him unless you get the worst possible ending, although the story does have a few mentions and nods to the events of the original.
Will there be a third game for this series? The idea of finding out what happened to the dead and circumstances that led to their interference with the living is a great concept and nicely executed in this series.
I think they're planning it, but with the death of the Vita, who knows. I figured by now we would've seen either a DLC chapter or an announcement for ports to PS4 and Switch.
I'm curious if Aksys will be porting NG to other platforms, because I can't really see a Vita-only release being viable in the west. I'm also surprised they didn't change the name, NG is really awful for searching in English, and given they already changed 死印, it wouldn't be much of an issue. Death Mark 2: NG or something would've been a better title.
That seems kinda odd with how the first game ended, but I guess they could have been planning ahead for the third game, or maybe even side material since there's a manga and novel now.
I feel like I read somewhere that they had plans for a trilogy around the time NG was coming out, but I can't find it again so I could just be making shit up. Death Mark seemed to do extraordinarily well in the west, so if that keeps up with NG we'll probably see more from the series, either way.
The fact we haven't seen anything from Experience for a while makes me think they might be working on the third already. The downtime between games isn't that long, who knows, by the time NG comes out in the west, the third game might be out in Japan.
They could have a top description. Typically, people would see if it's a sequel or not.
They were making some fantasy rpg. Honestly, I wish their games were fully voiced. Also, I noticed the newest game fixed the issue with the dialogue where you sometimes had trouble following which character said what. So at least the developers have a pretty open mind on the matter.
>Honestly, I wish their games were fully voiced.
It's just a question of cost, really. The whole reason they're making these dungeon RPG type games is because they're cheap, I liked that in NG they added a reason to backtrack to pick up D-cards, the areas in Death Mark were a bit bare.
Horror games are a great place to re-use assets, because every time you're forced to go through the same place, you're wondering if this time there's going to be a spooky skeleton popping out. The jump scares in NG were really well done.
>re-use assets
Well, at least backgrounds showed some level of difference like the sewer part especially. Now a large intrigue of the game would be understanding how the paranormal have an influence on the world stage. Normally people scoff but people like the madam and back then when WW2 experiments showed some level of awareness for supernatural. I still wish for a detective mystery between Yashiki and Masamune having a dynamic as a paranormal mystery duo.
