Honestly? The homogenizing of the characters. They way they reworked Torbjorn and Symmetra was the last straw for me. They won't ever make new character with cool new features and abilities. Blizzard can’t into esports. Every character being added is low skill. Abilities need to be toned down to where aim matters more and you can out skill someone that counters your hero with a pick still by playing better.

However it's still, a some what fun game, with decent costume games and a game maker now, it's got characters with decent/good personalities, and it feels at least some what more balanced than at other points in it's existence.

I'm not god tier skilled, and I only jump in two or three times a year with friends, but every game I play I either get gold or silver in damage when playing a damage hero, but I never manage to push my team to victory since there is always some guy in the other team who counters all my attempts.

Not really being able to face your counters or have enough resources to defeat multiple enemies is infuriating.

Gold and silver damage means literally fuck all. Its about how much value you are getting out of your damage and cooldowns. The medal system is retarded for this reason, because it gives people a thumbs up on a value that is largely irrelevant.

It is a bit, its difficult to carry a team in most cases unless there's two of you going well.
At least in Paladins I can carry with Skye well enough from shutting down their team

You only need to wipe them once and then shut them off from the objective to win, burning down the enemy teamäs shields and killing tracer once a minutes doesn't do shit for your team but at least if I do it solo then I expect them to take advantage of the situation and be productive if I can hold off 2-3 enemies for while.

The skill cap is way too low.

They tried turning a casual team shooter into an esports game. Quickplay is just practice competitive so you can't play that one character you want to play without potentially throwing the match. Blizzard spent more time filtering out toxic behavior instead of putting out good updates. The maps suck and are full of chokepoints. Shields, revives, stuns, and ultimates are in the game and they're annoying to deal with. The workshop is a joke and you can't even import models or maps. Skill is reduced to pressing a button and many games rely on who and how many people activate their ult at once.

Why every blizzard pvp game revolves around unkillable enemies? Every class in wow has self healing and damage mitigation, pvp duels can go for 10+ minutes in endless stalemate. Overwatch is just two blobs awkwardly poking each other until one of the blobs farm enough ults to delete other blob. Hots is bit better but still suffers from same thing.
