I can appreciate the optimism but I still disagree. Minecraft is a good foundation for a game but never actually does anything to become a good game itself. Factorio is a much better autism simulator and Terraria is a much better sandbox adventure game. I'll never not be frustrated at the wasted potential and my suspicion is that Hytale is vaporware.
To be fair, I still think it's a pretty good digital lego simulator, but that's not something that I need or feel compelled to play.
I guess on the subject of texture packs, how many of them actually have support for common mods? I haven't fucked around with them since dokucraft was the hot new thing.
