Sometimes a good challenge is its own reward user. Not everything needs a banner and trophy attached to it I'm pretty sure it contributes to your 100%. You also gain the title of one of the Fools of the Coliseum, for only a fool puts his life on the line for glory and nothing else.

Dung Defender, Watcher Knights, and Lost Kin were the toughest challenges for me the first time I played it
besides Trial of the Fool and the Radiance of course

Different people find different things tough I guess. I didn't have that bad of a time with the Watcher Knights but the Mantis Lords wrecked me. Fuck Lost Kin though. I gave up until I was way stronger at the end of the game and could cheese it.

That's a stupid idea. If the boss has projectiles like Dung Defender/White Defender, it's better to go to the furthest corner so the projectiles bounce off the wall away from you, instead of bouncing off your head.

It's 5 hours if you know where to go and what to get. It's around 30 hours just playing casually.

Happens with my strat too, and gives me plenty of time to heal. That's not explaining why it's better when you could just play normally and have the same thing happen. Not to mention healing in boss battles is also a huge waste of time anyways. Half the time you get hit after recovering a mask so you just lose soul. You don't focus on healing in boss fights, you focus on learning the attack patterns and honing your reaction times. If YOU actually played the game, or any for that matter, you'd have the basic intelligence needed to understand such basic concept. I guess you talking in niggerspeak was a dead giveaway that you don't have any though.

if you dont like exploring just stick to the main quest
the targets you need to kill are marked on the map so just make your way over in that direction where ever they are

This is one of many reasons I quit playing Hollow Knight after beating the Black Egg boss. It's stupid that they didn't make it so that you could travel between benches. And please don't give me that "but it's inconsistent with the lore" reason when they could have easily shoehorned in some kind of lore reason why you could travel between benches. Instead, you had to rely on those Stagways for fast travel. I was at about 70% map completion and I honestly didn't feel like doing any more. Well, that, and the combat just felt like shit.

Hollow Knight was never hard mate. The only time it got hard was when the DLCs dropped.

I died 5 times to Hornet and uninstalled because the bench was too far away. I have no patience for games where the average gameplay is easy with abrupt boss spikes - my brain turns off for everything in between and I can't turn it back on when I need it. It's a beautiful game but too far outside of my tastes.

In both Hornet fights there is a bench just one room away from the arena.
I didn't find the one in Greenpath and also died 5 times there. Didn't make ME quit though, because I'm not a whiny bitch nigger.
