I got all the Endless Legend DLC for 20 dollars. I think the base game is like 7.

realtalk, should I be buying single player games I could pirate instead? they are cheap... but pirating is cheaper... but some devs DO genuinely deserve money because I have bought games I pirated.... but I do want to save money....

That's a kart smartass

What's a nice $5 I can get for free

Attached: cart.jpg (600x600, 152K)

Niggerfart lemonade

If you're a poorfag, just only buy games of Devs you really like. Or alternatively, pirate first to demo something.

What game should I add on for $5 or less?

Bonus for games with a good story

Attached: givemeattention.png (757x679, 138K)

I've seen several games people are looking to buy that I have spare HIB keys for, if anyone wants to trade anything. It's a giant list, and it's largely crap, but there's a lot of things that I've seen anons interested in.

Ideally, if someone wants to trade several of the things in that paste for Kingdom Come Deliverance, that'd be perfect, but I'm open to most offers.

Just bought Pathologic HD for 1 dollar. Wish me luck

Shut up nerd

God Easter 3 for $35 or no?

I got this from selling a Dota item don't flame me

Attached: Steam_ESZwkLUHoT.png (65x29, 565)

Post some hidden gems.

Attached: 3f.png (1338x765, 1.47M)

Sorry I was just excited >~

I really want kenshi, but I was really hoping it would have been on sale for a lower price.

post your feet tranny

store.steampowered.com/app/249680/Marlow_Briggs_and_the_Mask_of_Death/

Why would you get flamed for making money off some retarded DOTA player?

Which PC games do you recommend for someone who hates Steam crap and thinks that Newell is a son of a bitch?

user with the Killing Floor key stuck on inventory where you at?

Be sure to check out ACE Team games like Zeno Clash 2 and Deadly Tower of Monsters.
store.steampowered.com/app/353700/The_Deadly_Tower_of_Monsters/

Its suppose to be 1 dollar not 5, wtf Marlow

Redpill me on this and is it worth buying?

>Nier Automata isn't on sale whatsoever

Attached: 1488140090090.gif (320x240, 603K)

Why buy from steam at all then?
buy from GOG, too bad the sale already passed

Two questions:
1. I played a game for a bit so my achievements on it counted, then I used my boost. If I bought something today, could I go back and use more?
2. Should I stagger my planned purchases to increase capacity? My main goal is to get that $5 coupon despite being a cheap fuck with few games (none of which apply to the main quests)

Attached: 1532130880785.jpg (1440x1080, 732K)

Any good Online Co-Op games?
something fun

Attached: teleports behind you.jpg (1200x900, 797K)

is it okay to place Ace Combat 7 if I've never played the others?

I wish they would make an HD collection or something

Banner Saga

>buy ro: vietnam
>fucking anticheat shit that I hated in ro2 because it latches onto your computer hard and feels invading
>get in game and there's hackers anyways meaning the anticheat is just to jam their dick down my throat
so what games have you already refunded, bros?

Right here nibba.
post your steam and I'll send it.

haha no

Witcher 3 for 29.99 zł

Vermintide 2
Yes it has some locations from previous games but knowing about them isn’t important

This
The second and third one are good but the gameplay is pretty identical

Attached: pov.png (609x627, 139K)

just bought rabi-ribi and all the dlc

thanks, but i was thinking of two people co-op

steamcommunity.com/id/nickostall/

Here it is, you could ask for something if you wanted man

its like 9zł on gog

Name a good hack and slash game.
I just want to fight some dudes with a sword

Panders up its own ass to every single minority group in the world in hopes of finding an audience.

But the music is top notch.

Should I buy GTA V?

Is rage 2 good if all i'm looking for is a pretty looking shoot-em up game?

Is EDF4 any fun singleplayer?

I don't have friends and don't really wanna play co-op with randoms.

Attached: DhWZQ5HUYAUKCjD.jpg (1175x1739, 434K)

MGR:R

i got the deus ex bundle because $10 for every game is pretty dope

What have you played? Would Revengance, Bayonetta, or DMC be stuff you've already played? Are you literally looking for a sword protag or are other weapons okay? Are 2D action games with similar gameplay fine?

ja pierdole...

>Is EDF4 any fun singleplayer?
not really
we could play together

Do you enjoy repetitive missions about blasting giant things with progressively more ridiculous weapons with a somewhat janky but full of charm Japanese flavor?
If so then sure. Pop on some music or a podcast and blast those bugs. The game is made with eastern autism in mind and is meant to be played through multiple times with each class working your way up the difficulty scale. Grind a bit if you start to get slapped.

Enjoy, dude.

Someone recommend me a good beatemup that isn't Fight'n'Rage or one of the bundles of old arcade games. I ask this every sale and nobody is ever able to deliver.

Attached: 13568572677.jpg (499x559, 49K)

I remember my hacked fun servers on dungeon siege

Yakuza 0

Good beat ‘em ups don’t exist in the current year.
Retro shit is your best bet for dead genres

what is the best video game on sale right now?

chronicles of mystara

Thank you senpai, seriously.

Thinking about buying Black Desert since the price is pretty cheap. Good deal?

wait Tf u on about

Anything I should remove?

Attached: steamsale.png (615x723, 152K)

Way of the Passive Fist
Aces Wild
The Takeover (not sure if it's good but it's very SoR-inspired and got a track out of Yuzo Koshiro, but the twist is you get guns)
HARDCORE MECHA just came out yesterday and it looks like a great 2D action game as well

What are some games where I can save an entire station line as a cat?

Attached: tumblr_oswi3bHYNY1s8ydrro1_1280.png (1280x967, 554K)

wanted to send f-a-m but 4chin corrected it into that lmao

Do you like Korean autism simulators about grinding for hundreds of hours to be the best fisherman/leather crafter/Jewish merchant who ever lived?

No, because you need to buy more shit inside the game, and then more and then even more.
It's a game about spending money.

The character creator is very good and I hear the combat is above-average for an MMO, but there was this incident where a bunch of servers somewhere just died and everybody on them got rolled back a month.

Deep Rock Galactic

I've got keys for both Vermintide 2 CE and Just Cause 3 XXL if you want to trade.

steamid: steamcommunity.com/id/fm_salchemist/

Vermintide 2 isn't very good

Battletech is pretty lackluster and has paradox jewery behind its dlc.
But it is

>someone paid 200 dollars for an item in a game
These people really are hopeless huh?

is it worth getting skyrim SE if i was interested in replaying but never got the DLC or anything

sale % seems piss poor

almost 500 hours in vt2, i wouldn't get it
fatshark is extremely inconsistent with their updates and promises
dedicated servers still aren't a thing despite their promises over a year ago, mod sanctioning is really slow and spaced out, bugs galore and you have to pay for all the dlc which isn't that good

I’ve played revengeance and some older DMC. Never have tried bayo
Other weapons and 2d are fine.
I was thinking Dark Soul, Sekiro or Dragon’s Dogma when I said jack and slash.

$200 canadian, that's like $40

>he thinks that is a lot
steamcommunity.com/market/listings/730/AWP | Dragon Lore (Factory New)

Well i'm not playing to be the top, i'm not into dick measuring. Just doing small chores here and there. I heard the grinding is bullshit, but can i have fun with the daily activities, i see it has fishing, trading and small stuff like this. It's mainly why i'm interested. Don't know how the grindfest affect this though.

FACT: hidden gems don't exist; every game worth playing is well known to a degree.

Is this the lowest Soulcalibur has gone so far?

Buy or pirate?

Attached: Capture.jpg (1037x736, 60K)

objectively wrong

Only if you're from the Rust Belt or some fucking loser who takes "mental health days". Protag reminds me of my brother who drops out of college for basically no reason and who everyone keeps giving chances for some unknown reason. If you're actually a productive level-headed person you'll probably identify with the side characters way more than the main character. Also they shoehorn in some cult plotline at the end that makes no sense.

literally wrong

FACT: ur mum, hue

Reposting; is the Surge on of those "it's solid but there's better alternatives" games or is it actually trash? If it's the former I'll pick it up, the price is low enough and I really like chainswords.
Also, somebody was asking about Dusk and Amid Evil last thread, I say get em both. Both of them are total blasts.

>some fucking loser who takes "mental health days"
You mean just taking days off work because you feel like it, or something else? I do that all the time, who the fuck would force themselves to go to work when they can get away with not doing so?

>who the fuck would force themselves to go to work when they can get away with not doing so?
The Japanese.

I liked the original Prey from 2006, is the reboot worth getting?
The Surge and the rest of the Souls-like games tend to be shit because they try too hard to ape From’s foundation without realizing why those games were successful.
Shammy has an in-depth review on it if you wanted something more analytic.

Who?

Bayo is definitely good but it has a lot of those little Kamiya things that can drag it down in certain spots. Assault Spy is very DMC-inspired but has its own aesthetic going (main guy uses briefcase/umbrella, girl uses fists/heavy guns); Mitsurugi Kamui Hikae is a more generic but mechanically sound and cheap DMC-inspired game where you're a schoolgirl with a katana out to fight another schoolgirl with a katana. Nelo also exists and it has a hack&slash + twin-stick shooter thing going. REDEEMER is really cheap but I'm not sure how it is (you play as an old buff dude that's just slaughtering people, seems solid). As for 2D, there's Aces Wild, Aztez, Castle Crashers, Mother Russia Bleeds, and The Vagrant.

There are games I've seen mentioned on Yea Forums about 3 times, including during this sale, that are fantastic. There are games that never get brought up on Yea Forums that are fantastic.

New Prey isn't similar to old Prey at all. It shouldn't even be called Prey. It should be called "Neuroshock". It's Bioshock/System Shock.

Yeah, that's pretty much what I feared. Fug.
Prey 2016 is fucking excellent, but not like the original in any way. It's a really good spiritual successor to System Shock though. It was my favorite game from 2017

There's this trend of twitter faggots claiming that everyone needs to take a day off once in a while "for their mental health". No, normal people are not so neurotic that they have to take sick days to prevent themselves from breaking down on a regular basis. In the game Mae drops out of college because muh mental health even though literally nothing goes wrong. She just felt like nothing mattered so she fucked over her lower middle class rust belt family who scrimped and saved so she had a way out of their dying town.

It really doesn't bare much resemblance. If you liked Human Revolution or Mankind Divided, you might like it.

Redout VS BallisticNG , what is the better successor to Wipeout?
Which is the better game?

Thanks for the suggestions

imagine paying for emulated megadrive games

Beyond divinity is by far the worst divinity game.

only $1 for Sonic 3 and Knuckles

Attached: sonic.png (156x156, 23K)

dusk, killer 7, or some shmup like mushihimesama or zeroranger?
i played amid evil and loved it and i like jp games too plus any jp games with japanese language option is a plus for me since i'm learning japanese

Attached: 1560641845248.jpg (640x479, 36K)

beyond divinity is absolute garbage.
DDOD is very casual, pretty much a newgrounds/kongregate game

Killer7

you should buy "divinity 2 : developers cut" instead, which is a great underappreciated RPG

If you have Win 10, pay $1 to get game pass for PC and try it out. Otherwise pirate it because it's single player.

Same, fuck sake I remember when it was like a tenner 7 years ago.

r8 bros

Attached: file.png (636x444, 105K)

>shmup
Pay touhou general a visit, they have a mega with most of the games

>beyond divinity is absolute garbage.
>DDOD is very casual, pretty much a newgrounds/kongregate game
Well its just 50 cents so whatever really, although DDOD doesnt sound too good...

Is Graveyard keeper good enough to buy or should I just pirate it?

I bought Moonlighter on GOG a little while back. Pretty disappointing after a couple hours. The dungeons are way too short and repetitive. Each one is just the same formula over and over but with a different enemy set.

>DQXI not on sale
fookin pissed

I can trade you something for Moonlighter.

Broken Age
Transistor

R8, H8, give me suggestions

Attached: summersale2019.jpg (683x618, 45K)

Way of the Passive Fist is an interesting concept but it just doesn't click to me. It feels like it's more of a puzzle game since you can't attack and it's just about parrying things to different rhythms. I appreciate trying to spice up the bmup genre though.

I'm considering Aces Wild but The Takeover doesn't look very appealing. Hardcore Mecha isn't the genre I'm looking for but I'm definitely wishlisting it for later. Thanks for the recs!

>you should buy "divinity 2 : developers cut" instead, which is a great underappreciated RPG
I might, looks pretty cool.

Similar deal with you. I've got EDF+all DLC and Fight N Rage, if you want to trade for something.
steam id is here

beyond divinity isn't even worth $0.5. I's just recycling assets from the first game with an inane story and broken quests.

DDOD isn't great but it's worth 0.5 (but not much more). It can keep you entertained for a couple days but no more than that.

Should I buy RE2, or is it likely to go down in price soon? I haven't finished REmake, but I loved RE4.

Get Arcanum: Steamworks and Magick Obscura. It's like $4. Also dunk on the (((Gnomes))) all day, every day.

Yakuza is all Jap voice acting with English subs. Not sure if that would be help to you or not

Personal reccomendations
> Maximum Action
Kinda meme game but it brought lots of fun into my life. Shooter that focuses on feeling rather than challenge. You remember FEAR and fun its combat was? Here every gun feels like FEAR shotgun and you can utilize it on retarded enemies in small arenas. You can also do some sick movement similiar to Max Payne as these fuckers actually simulate your legs - so when you jump forward you actually land on your belly. But it's more of sandbox techdemo rather than game.
Oh, it's published by Dusk guys.
> Talos Principle
Very, very good puzzle game. Got 20 hours of my life easily and made me grin whenever I figured something out. It's never unfair, I coupe beat it without looking up for walktrough. But it's harsh in comparison to things like Portal. Still, pure bliss.
> Squad
If you look tor fun shooter, look somewhere else.
If you look tor mixture of driving a logistic truck and singing Country Rodes with your squaddies trough Afganian deserts that quickly turns to shit and you try to panic revive each other after suicide motorbike attack on you - this game's for you. Poured 80 hours into it during last few months and loving it.
Don't believe folks who talk about "retarded RPing". Never experienced that. Unless "retarded RPing" means "listening to your squad lead orders".

I personally loved Nioh as much as the Souls games.
I don't give a shit about "lore" or "atmosphere"; I just care if a game is fun to play and well designed.

It'll definitely be cheaper by Christmas. Worst case scenario, it won't be any more expensive during Christmas than it is now.

Prey 2017 isn't related to Prey 2006 at all.
Prey 2017 is pretty much a System Shock clone.

I can afford one more game. Kinda want an anime game. Any recommendations?

Attached: Capture.jpg (616x426, 29K)

If anyone bought or is thinking about buying Blood Bowl 2 (it's $5 right now), me and some anons have been playing on our own Yea Forums league for like a year now. We're about to start season 4, and will probably have a rookie division if enough newbies join, so if that sounds fun, you're invited!
virginleague.neocities.org

Attached: kill elf.jpg (640x360, 51K)

i played yakuza zero and loved it, holding out on kiwami 1 and 2 since i don't feel a rush to play them right now

Nioh itself is barely like From's games. It doesn't try to copy it any more than superficially, since the combat itself lacks the weight Dark Souls has (by design, since that's how KT does their action games).

Question for Fallout anons. Is Tale of Two Wastelands really worth it to buy Fallout 3 as well? I enjoy New Vegas a lot but only had like 25 hours in the base game of Fallout 3.

Attached: d4w6ad46w5a.png (627x100, 20K)

Alright, you convinced me.

That's too wide of a question. Do you want something real time? Something turn based? A JRPG? A VN?

The devs are commies, you should honor their ideology by pirating it

I mostly like roguelike and roguelite games. This is what I have so far. Any opinions?

Attached: gamez.jpg (604x887, 66K)

Holy mother of aesthetic

Play EDF with friends or even random people
It's ok alone but higher difficulties become almost impossible without insane grinding and a large portion of the games content was designed to be experienced multiplayer

Fight N Rage was a bit underwhelming but if you really just want an old school multi-path beat-em-up it does the job reasonably

Dragons Dogma is extremely hit or miss
If you like it, you'll love it
I recommend grabbing the mod that changes the main menu back to the original version
Also the game has a fuckload of secrets and you probably wont see all the content without multiple playthroughs

As for the other two, not a fan of shmups but I appreciate the variety in the games you grabbed.

Solid list my dude, not a single debatable game

Just get Recettear like everyone else.

Get Half-Life 2 Episode One & Two if you havent played em yet.

Nioh.
Don't listen to the lying faggots saying that the game is impossible without creating a broken build or abusing magic; for NG and NG+ you can play it like any other action RPG, with a purely physical build if you want, and you only need to change equipment to improve your ATK and DEF values. Builds only start mattering from NG++ onward.

Attached: 20180506172614_1.jpg (1920x1080, 386K)

>Talos Principle
>Very, very good puzzle game. Got 20 hours of my life easily and made me grin whenever I figured something out. It's never unfair, I coupe beat it without looking up for walktrough. But it's harsh in comparison to things like Portal. Still, pure bliss.
Good recommendation.
I would also add that, unlike Portal and other "small-ish" first person puzzles, the amount of puzzles and their complexity is high enough that you most likely won't remember most of the solutions after playing it, so it has a lot of replay value.
There's also the Gehenna DLC which unlike most DLCs of today, actually adds content and story, both more complex than the main game.
Main game and DLC combined, i got over 100 hours in it with multiple playthroughs.

The workshop is not as abundant of content as Portal 2 is, and in the current updated build of the game(they basically updated the entire engine to a newer version) most workshop maps won't work(they can still be converted if you know what you're doing, and someone already converted some), but even without it, there's plenty of puzzles already.

BioShock it's the worst "shock" game

>100gb
Neither

Anything you want in particular? Looking at some of my keys I have Momodora, Brigador, Inside, Undertale, Layers of Fear, and Banner Saga 2 most notably.

Any good zoo tycoon type games on sale?

Honestly no. The mod itself is generally buggy, and the few cool moments FO3 had do not make it worth playing with the updated mechanics from NV.

Hot opinions incoming

System Shock 1 > Prey (2017) = System Shock 2 >>>>>> very fucking long gap >>>>>> Bioshock 1 >Bioshock 2>>>>>> another long gap >>>>> Infinite

Only played two hours of infinite and found it boring beyond belief so maybe I'm wrong and the game gets better.

It's fun for a fallout 3 play through but by the time you get into new vegas you're already level 30+ so it makes everything way too easy

You're absolutely correct
Making a proper build actually makes you stupidly OP for NG and NG+
I remember sticking together a nice looking set bonus at random and suddenly enemies in NG couldn't even hurt me.

To grind decently you need to spend money on atleast 3 to 4 pets, each one costs you 10$. If you wanna buy it give it a go, I'm just warning you that you can't get far without putting extra money.

So, do I need to buy the TW Warhammer DLC to see the content in the campaign, not play as the whatever but to fight against them as well?

Should i buy koikatsu party? How censored is it?

I see. Thanks for the advice.

You only need the DLCs to play as the races, youll still play against them.
You need to get the fucking blood DLC though which is just fucking bullshit.

Add me, we'll make a deal.

I honestly believe that following guides and build instructions ruins the game or a new player.
When I played it for the first time I went completely blind, finding it no different from Dark Souls (in the "learn how to fight the enemies and bosses, memorize their patterns and weakness, punish when you can" way).

Go ahead with autism build if you want to engage on Way of the Nioh / Abyss insanity, but before that you're doing yourself a disservice.
(Fuck me, I suck at screenshots).

Attached: 20181110172003_1.jpg (1920x1080, 411K)

>Schutzstaffel 1 above 2
That is indeed quite a hot opinion.

I have 20 dollars
what buy

What do you like, faggot.
God I hate these posts

I'll play pretty much any game that isn't porn or shmup

Dicks

Is Astroneer, Elite, Empyrion, Planet Nomads, or similar games worth it? Or do they still suck?

Do I need to play Divinity Original Sin before DOS2?

doom 2016

gachi heroes

Get the entire valve collection

i have it, its good

It's not required, but it does provide more story and context for the universe. If you play DOS2 without playing 1 you will be a little lost for the first hour or so figuring everything out.
I didn't play 1 but I did play 2 and I loved it.

I just bought STALKER Bundle. ¿How do I install mods?

got it too

Thanks, mate.

1 is objectively a better game than its sequel.
The only things where 2 improves over 1 is not having unnecessarily labyrinthine levels (1's medical level is a pretty big offender for a starting level) and and not having a bazillion of redundant weapons.
Both are excellent games, of course.

>You read so much about the SS that your smartphone auto-corrected your post
Ohohohohohohohoho. Wanna hear something funny? I'm a latino posting from his latino country

I like Shogun 2, I really like customizing my units in multiplayer too. Are there more games like this? With unit customization I mean. And yes, I know about X-COM 1 and 2.

Attached: 1547391558355.jpg (700x700, 111K)

I have killer is dead, I want to get killer 7 but the sale isn't very interesting this time.
Do I have to play killer 7 before is dead, or can I play them in any order?

Is NEO Scavenger good?

xcom 2 expansion worth it? i beat xcom 1, and only got a few hours in 2 back when it came out. thought about starting, thinking expansion might be worth

what was the name of that western jrpg based off of a comic

If you didn't manage to get it when it was free on Steam, Hacknet is pretty neat. The soundtrack is chill, the puzzles are moderately challenging if you don't know every UNIX command off the top of your head, and the DLC adds some cool cyber dungeon crawls.

Depends on how you feel paying for Flash games. It's surprisingly meaty with crafting and combat, but everything is more or less a menu besides the hex-based overworld.

>You read so much about the SS that your smartphone auto-corrected your post
I actually typed it out, as a goof. I'm a Mexican who grew up in Ensenada, Mexico and now lives in LA.

BattleTech

Expansion is worth it but I would say it helps to have a vanilla playthrough under your belt, it adds enough stuff to throw you off.

It adds some interesting features to the game. Since you haven't played much of Xcom 2, you might want to pick up the expansion and give it a go.

What. Why the fuck would my name be Esther?

War of the Chosen? Worth it.
Alien Hunters? Fucking trash.

Customizing your team is the meat of the game

Should I buy The Silver Case or Resi 4?

Mmmm. Region?
I want to know if I can gift you something.

Didn't play Pillars of Eternity. Played Divinity Original Sin 2 and liked it. Thinking about playing Pillars of Eternity 2. Do you recommend it? Will I miss anything by not playing 1?

Anyone here played Lobotomy Corporation? It looks interesting. How much content is there and does it have replayability?

Nah,

The Metro bundle or Stalker guys?

>announcing a report
nice one retard

$80 to under $5

The full game is $15 user. I do hate the predatory practice of having two thirds and not 90% of the game sold as DLC, but it's still a good game.

Attached: swooce.jpg (1280x720, 276K)

I pirated it and played it for a few hours before quitting. I was expecting an SCP simulator, but the majority of the game is some retard's boring bullshit story nonsense and waifuism. Just look at any of the Lobotomy Corp. threads on Yea Forums. Nobody talks about the game, everyone just talks about the waifus. It's a VN with shitty management gameplay between the cutscenes.

I have $15 what should I buy?

Attached: 1561590460273.png (176x185, 54K)

It costs me 70 cents since I have all but 6 dlc but I don't really play it. Is it any good?

There's a spoiler from the first game as soon as you start PoE2

it's on sale that much because starbreeze is on the brink of bankruptcy

Is it worth getting into? I remember lots of threads about this but never played it

What do you like?
Get Blood Bowl instead

Attached: nurg.jpg (1918x1079, 269K)

I put this on the other thread and got some good advice(and his sensible suggestion was to choose a variety of game types), but before eliminating it I wanted to ask specifically what are the pros and cons of WW3? Has anyone played it? Are there any strong redeeming factors or really large negatives about it?

Attached: SSS192.png (621x469, 104K)

Dont think youll get the story at all without playing the first one.

Dang. I wasn't that interested in the first because it looked so generic. I was interested in 2 since the setting seemed unique.

Ah. That's what I was afraid of. I don't mind VN and "waifuism", so long as it doesn't take much away from gameplay. Guess I'll replay Prison Architect for my simulation fix.

>like 2d roguelikes
>buy 10 of them
>clock 10 hours into one of them until I feel like a break for a new game
>have no desire to touch the others because I'm sick of the genre
why am I like this

It is a meme.

It happens to me all the time user. Don't worry.

Is The Room good? Why is it rated so damn well

any recommended point-and-clicks? played Broken Sword recently and wanted to get more like it

Nice little puzzle game for super cheap. Great for the satisfaction of things literally clicking into place.

I decided to take WW3 off, and Shenmue as well for their EGS stupidity. I will just get Post Scriptum and Hitman 2 + GOTY.

store.steampowered.com/app/355170/Sam__Max_Hit_the_Road/

Primordia and Gemini Rue. Actually, you could probably look into most of WadjetEye's catalog. Daedelic is very hit or miss; Deponia is probably their most popular title, but it's also arguably their weakest.

Because Mark is in it.

Are there any games taht let me be a doctor or run a hospital or something? Two Point Hospital is close but it's too silly and British for my taste.

Kinda interested in this game but I can't really tell if I should get it with full season pass? is it enjoyable?

No idea if its actually good or not though.

Finally dipped and got Stellaris, and got Utopia.
Are the story packs even worth it?

Looks like SS13 meets Sims.

that's right, I was looking for Lucasarts games. they all look cool, thanks
Is Unavowed any good?

If i didnt like the first game will i like this one?
I didnt like the games cringey sense of humor mainly. Wizards in a medieval rpgs hanging on a beach with a modern swim suit, umbrella, and stereo really ruins the immersion for me and makes me feel like im in a first time DMs shitty campaign and he is panicking.

Jump in with randoms every now and then, you might have fun~

I haven't played that one, I'm waiting for a steeper discount. I do like WadjetEye as a developer and publisher, but at the end of the day, it's still an AGS game they're charging $15-$20 for.

Is anyone here familiar with the Nonary games?
Should I buy it for PC or PS4?

Anybody got any recommendations for something similar to fractured Space? I'm missing its combat.

Attached: maxresdefault.jpg (1280x720, 164K)

I will only buy one - which is most fun?

Attached: watdo.png (610x315, 60K)

Should I buy cities skylines or Jurassic world evolution?

If you're playing for the story/writing, don't bother. It's mechanically good, but Larian doesn't take shit seriously at any time.

This but cRPGs and I've put at least 20 hours in each before dropping them

I've got Cities Skylines I can trade for something.
steamid: steamcommunity.com/id/fm_salchemist/

>If you're playing for the story/writing, don't bother. It's mechanically good, but Larian doesn't take shit seriously at any time.
this really explains why my more aspie friends really enjoyed it and where shocked when i refused to buy it to play with them. im usually the rpg guy. I have the 5 bucks off and im just lookin for something to spend it on.

Persuade or dissuade me on Phantom Doctrine. Is it any good?

I can only speak for amid evil since I haven't played the others. It's really fun and challenging .

Battletech is kinda meh. also the game engine is unity and boy oh boy is it optimized like ass.

>cities skylines
my gf bought it and really likes it. But she's a woman so what does she know.

Dragon's dogma

If she's with you user then she at least has good taste

I played it when it first came out, it's alright but kind of janky. Feels really unpolished compared to Xcom, animations are kind of eh and the AI can sometimes fuck up and cause you to lose missions.

It also suffers from xcom's typical "Dude standing three buildings away shoots you through a tiny line of site path between six windows and a solid wall to kill your best guy" bullshit.

many say you need looks or money. and those work but personality goes WAY further than both.

If you're gonna get VC thinking you can employ a wide variety of strategies like other games in the genre like FE than just refund it now, there is one way to play those games and the entire thing is built round this single way

High chance you're lying, but if not then The Guild 3 or Armored Battle Crew would be nice.

Fuck, posted this in the wrong thread originally. Does marking a game as "Not Interested" during a discovery queue affect the algorithm that recommends games, or does it just stop that one particular game from being recommended? I have Witcher 3 on GOG, but because I have 1 and 2 on Steam, I keep getting recommendations for 3.

is return of the obra dinn good

if you mark a game as not interested it wont show up at all anywhere on steam unless you remove it from that list

No one fucking knows. The algorhythm is a mystery

It's amazing. If you like puzzles and mysteries to solve, a must buy

I know, but I'm wondering if it'll screw with other recommendations. If a game would otherwise be recommended for fans of the Witcher games, would it not be recommended for me because I did "Not Interested" on Witcher 3?

Kingdom Come

Do you like being stressed and seeing cute things die?
Then LC is for you.

You're out of luck then.

It's essentially a game that hopes that it's characters will be relatable. it shoehorns something in towards the end as well. i heard it was really good and while many people might enjoy it's visuals, characters, or even music. but in the end, it's still boring. i heard a lot of hype for this admittedly and it didn't live up to it. it's not particularly terrible but it's not great

kenshi sucks fucking ass. its a PIRATE at best. Go ahead and pirate it and play for 30 hours. The game is brutal and unforgiving, but not in a very fun way. So many mechanics are just so janky. There's a good idea deep down but the execution is poor. Wait until Kenshi 2 is near release to really bother.

Here's my haul so far, also gifted a buddy Kingdom Come Deliverance.

>agony

Have you played the previous three games? If you enjoyed those, Knight is pretty much 'more of the same with some improvements'. Definitely a solid game. The only downside is the overuse of the Batmobile. I don't consider it a deal breaker per se, just disappointing. And if you're familiar with the comics or story writing in general, the plot is not as twist-worthy as it tries so damn hard to be.

Premium edition is quite worth it for the price, given the bundle discount. Basically a few short missions for certain characters post-campaign and challenge maps if you're into that sort of thing.

Is System Shock worth playing?
Never got around to it.

> Doom is gonna drop in price like a rock. Wait few months, pay 40% of its price.
> EDF, Outward, Hunt and Kingdom Come are meme games.
> Leaves you with Crash and Lethal League.

Absolutely

is three kingdom worth getting? I know it's still new just curious

yeah. i bought 2, not 1, which i bought on a past sale.

Personally not a fan of it. Tried it several times but it feels like a bad unity game and it's just janky. I don't know if it's improved since I last played. Personally would look into something like Stationeers if you want something more intense/immersive or Astroneer maybe.

1 game and almost 100 dollars worth of DLC

what's wrong with agony? looks pretty good. similar enough to dusk and amid evil.

dont play with my heart like this, user

Attached: 1557809320805.jpg (495x415, 23K)

yeah i get that but i really fucking rarely preorder shit and doom 2016 was fantastic. i get it fell in price like a rock but i wanted the pre-order content as well. also hunt isn't a meme game i've played it. it's legitimately good it's just i don't really have people to play it with so i'm not sure it's a good idea

Should I buy GTAV or is it likely to go down in price soon?

total war series goes on sale often so if you can wait, you know it'll get discounted eventually

Is Heroes of Hammerwatch any good? played the first one and thought it was complete shit but I need some couch co-ops to play.

You're in the Steam Sale thread and these guys slap your wallet's ass - what do?

Penumbra is a great series. 3 is a bit janky but the first two are great.

Attached: 4u.jpg (1600x900, 379K)

Might get it then. Thanks.

Is KotOR actually good, or just a meme game pushed by nu/v/?

If you liked the other Arkham games, yeah

they aren't anything alike. whereas dusk and amid evil are genuinely good old-school fps games, agony is a horror game supposedly trying to be akin to outlast or amnesia that has a lot of design issues. i don't know if they've fixed it but things were pitch black a lot in the game and as a result it was hard for players to manuever levels. supposedly the game was super tedious to play. ended up being a bit of a meme but it wasn't really well-known to begin with so it flew under everyone's radars

what the fuck is wrong with you

I hope your autism is satisfied.

I almost did the same thing for another game.

Aight, I'll just get this if I reach the discount for the stupid race

Attached: 1540949474083.png (635x326, 44K)

Thinking about giving the Stronghold series a go, which one(s) should I get?

Thoughts and any recommendations based off of this?

Battle Brothers is pretty great, just prepare to be constantly buttfucked by RNG, Darkest Dungeon style.

Attached: thits.png (619x321, 75K)

It's actually good you donut.

if you don't know the plot to kotor it's got a legitimately good story with some
good dialogue and interesting worlds/environments. it has however aged poorly somewhat. it's combat is awful and it can drag on a bit in my opinion. essentially, if you're a big star wars fan and want to have a good star wars story it's a good game for that. just prepare for some awful combat

Agony is straight fucking garbage walking sim.

but there's boobs in it. only gays don't like it.

>supposedly
so you haven't played it? and you're telling me it's bad?

there's so much fucking trash to sift thru on steam. feels like after a while even stuff i'd normally enjoy starts looking like garbage. haven't felt impetus to buy a single game yet.

>tfw can't enjoy games that don't have anything to them beyond match play
i bought it and i thought it was decently fun but i just can't get myself playing it.

get the dlc

What do I do, Yea Forums?

>Hunt and kcd are meme games

This guy is full of it. I wouldn't recommend either if you don't have a pretty good computer, but if you do they're great. KC:D much moreso than hunt showdown but I mean they're completely different

It's nothing like them but I liked it, it got a ton of hate and most of it was undeserved imo. It's mostly about the sickass environments/visuals but there were some pretty neat puzzles too

DLC is of the devil

i haven't played hunt the freeman but i can tell you it's dogshit. just looking at footage you can tell he put random levels together that don't relate theme wise with each other or have a logical layout. it's slapped together poorly and it's visible by just watching gameplay. you aren't wrong in most cases you should play the game to establish an opinion on it. there's things that you can't get across with a video such as how satisfying it feels to shoot a certain weapon for example. in agony's case, it was a very common criticism and while a lot of people can be actually autistic, most people know how to adjust brightness. if layouts are getting confusing, it's so dark people literally are stumbling around in levels and have a hard time seeing, and people are genuinely disliking it heavily there's a high chance they aren't wrong. if you think im full of bullshit, look more into it.

Games like XCOM?

no fuck on

>anything to them beyond match play
Explain. The best part of blood bowl is the progression your team gets for playing in a league. Having your star player blitzer with 4 skills die in the semifinals is a heartbreaking moment no other game will give you.

Attached: dabs.jpg (1024x576, 107K)

If you're looking for something like old-school XCOM get Xenonauts.

Xcom 2

Yes I do.
That bad? Is it doable at least?

Stop fucking shilling already, annoying cunt

Any decent games like Subnautica and .... No Man Sky?

How close to xcom? Blood bowl is a solid pick if you want both the character development and the getting fucked by RNG

I'm replying to someone matey. Take a chill pill

I've played Hunt and I enjoy it. It's just something I'd be playing on my own though. I'm not sure how quickly I'd drop it. I'm not sure KC:D appeals to me but I don't mind giving something that seems unappealing a chance. Can you redpill me on why KC:D is enjoyable? I'm not really a history buff but if it's genuinely that appealing I might play it. Personally, leaning towards preordering Doom Eternal since that's pretty much the next big game I'm looking forward to and that's something I feel rarely happens.

didn't read beyond "i can tell you it's dogshit". my dude, if you haven't played a game you don't know if it's good or not. so shut the fuck up and learn to form your own opinions instead or repeating the trash you read online.

>prepare to be constantly buttfucked by RNG
That only makes it better. Figured out I'd try the game after seeing get shilled in here for so long.
Also, check out Environmental Station Alpha if you're into metroidlikes or exploration-heavy games in general. It looks like absolute ass but everything else about it is top-notch.

sure i'll waste my time playing a game that everyone including Yea Forums unanimously agrees is dogshit so i can establish my own opinion about a game

there was that game, mutant year zero or something like that which advertised itself pretty much purely on "being like xcom." not sure how it panned out, it has a cool visual style and i like the look of it but i didn't see anyone talking about it here.

anyone know what i'm talking about? is it good?

steamid: steamcommunity.com/id/fm_salchemist/

>hates everything
>has dozens of smash threads constantly shilling it
>shills the ever-living fuck out of new vegas
>fucking adores hollow knight
except Yea Forums doesn't hate everything. Yea Forums isn't a hivemind entirely and while the majority of people here definitely like to throw shit at everything they see, a fairly large amount still shills the fuck out of games.

Turn-based tactics, solder / warrior squads, some equipment / base / tech micromanagement

It's a pretty good deal, you get a perpetual license which I'm a fan of. And instead of that being the end of it, you get 12 months worth of updates for the price of 10 months of monthly payments.

Attached: IthinkIvebecomeboredwithvideogames.jpg (633x498, 38K)

don't forget the boner for the Dark Souls series

hollow knight being pushed as a "good" example of metroidvania is proof that Yea Forums is literally nothing but zoomers who can safely be ignored

thanks but i already have civ6
i'd have gotten the gold edition to save a couple more bucks but if you own the base game it literally disallows it
fucking jews

Yeah, I forgot that the base game isn't called Civ VI, it's called Sid Meirer's Civ VI. I was in the process of trying to delete my post, but you responded. Sorry.

lol

I'm also looking for games like that. So far, the best co-op game I've ever played was Divinity: Original Sin 2. There'a couple of neat puzzle games - We We Here series. Short, but kinda fun if you're playing it with a friend. Have yet to try out Nine Parchments and Magicka. There's also the hipster game "Tick Tock - A Tale For Two", a puzzler. Very short game, but kinda fun. The ending got me good.

remove battletech but keep new vegas and forged alliance. Great games. not sure about the rest

Ok retards, what should I get that I can't pirate? Read: Multiplayer games only.
Only worthwhile one I saw on sale that I don't already have is Rust.

Don't listen this faggot If you want an actual game that simply involves porn, try Sengoku Rance (good starting point of the series), Kamidori or Evenicle. If you just want porn, there's Koikatsu, Honey Select, Artificial Academy 2 and Custom Maid 3D2.

Go to their respective threads on /h/ or /vg/ and the OP pastebins will tell how to get them.

yea hunt isn't one most people would really put a ton of hours into or anything, I like it for what it is tho.

KC:D is one of my favorite games in recent memory but it's not the most polished game. It's not quite as bad as say a bethesda game and I didn't have any game breaking issues but some of the quests are buggy, combat can be kinda retarded especially against more than 1 guy, NPCs can fuck up, physics bugs, etc.

It's kinda like if you took the great setting, writing, characters, and quests from the Witcher 3, made it non-fantasy and historically accurate, added deeper RPG/simulation mechanics, but it was also a lot jankier. If that sounds appealing then try it out.

and yea I'm stoked for Doom Eternal as well, it's gonna be gud

killer7 is in my top 5 favorite games ever. It's Suda 51's best work. Also, The Silver Case (his 2nd best work) is 60% off. It's a really good VN, one of the best ever.

used to be good when it was a survival game but the developers several months ago decide to turn it into a "call of duty: zombies" game which isn't up to par for a generic zombie shooter. I say pass but maybe they see the sea of negative reviews and go back to making it a survival game again. Who knows

It's not fair, isn't my love enough for a gf?

Is EDF any fun to play without friends?

Might as well as this here, are any of these Sherlock Holmes games worth playing?

no it's trash

What's a game with a lot of crunch and autism, especially in regards to combat? Something like Dwarf Fortress, or those old mech games like Earthsiege, where individual parts can be damaged.

testament is the best one.

Worth it for 5 dollarydoos? Also does Splinter Cell Conviction even work on PC anymore? I keep talking myself in and out of buying it.

I thought Jack the Ripper had better puzzles, but Testament is overall the better game.

Kenshi

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. In fact, fuck you for even posting that here. I got that shit with other games for $1 in a Humble Bundle, and I still felt fucking ripped off.

Is this any good?

Do they not have new deals everyday or what?

Is the hitman franchise any good? The old games a $7 for all of them.

Uhh, anything from my wishlist please, user, and thank u

Yes but you might have to finesse your way to get them running properly. They haven't aged particularly well, but I think it's worth a shot if you're really into the franchise.

Older ones in the series can be a little janky. But that's just the nature of tech/design back then.

$7 is a good price for all the older entries.

Modern Hitman GOTY for $15 is pretty good too.

whats something to keep me occupied for like 50-100 hours? I like stuff similar to terraria and rpg's like OG fallout and morrowind. Preferably nothing RTS or anime related though.

i need help spending it. recommended me some games.

Divinity?

As far as I know, you can play either in either order, they're only tangentially related at best.

I could be completely fucking wrong though, considering the recent Sudaverse stuff.

dark souls if you haven't played it yet going 1-3 will keep you entertained for the next 2 years at the least

The games before Blood Money can feel a bit dated but theyre otherwise good. Blood Money is a masterpiece and Absolution is awful.

Sleeping dogs and first three thief games worth it for $6?

Avernum, Grimoire: Heralds of the Winged Exemplar, Final Fantasy 12 might be to anime but its good.

i bought rust, am i retard?

Yes.

should I get pathologic 2 or try out the original first?

Tale has options to do all sorts of things regarding rebalancing things to either slow your level up pace

or drastically increase difficulty the further you level

or both

besides, it's the best way to replay F3

The first is crap. It was very much of it's time and has not aged well. Second is good but casuals will find it frustrating. Third is also good and a little more lenient than the second. The older games are not like the later ones. They are not wacky sandboxes. You don't get to do shit at your leisure. Only get them if you REALLY like stealth based puzzle games.

How's EDF 4.1 for a some coop sessions with a few friends?

fantastic. If you like over the top stuff, cant recommend enogh

How does that work, though? How could somebody choose a video game character from a video game they've never played as their waifu? Also, it's a relatively recent game, so what happens to the previous waifu of the fags fake-marrying that slut? Are there constantly new waifags being created (and if yes: how?) or was there some global event in the past that traumatized one big group of these tards all at once?

Isn't Pathalogic 2 just a remake of the original? I played the original. It's very, very not fun. Apparently some people find that to be "charming".

How's They Are Billions? Not a good sale but I've been thinking of picking it up for a while.

yeah it is but with only one character so far is what I heard. Might as well just get both actually, first one is literally $1

it's not necessarily that it's charming it just fits the narrative really well. either people view this essentially as smart or genuinely fucking retarded

There are numerous games that I've never heard anyone mention ever, but I know to be absolutely amazing.
Especially true on this plebby site where 90% of the users don't even know about anything but the latest trippul ayys. You're cancer, all of you.

My wife's leaving for a vacation for a week so I have a free week to play video games. What should I play?

>perpetual license
That's not going to last now that Adobe has bought it up, user.
Also, it's fucking free on CGPeers.

How do you get token brah?

Yes, also Switch and PC now.

All right, based on the feedback I've received this is my final cart. Going to buy these things, pretty confident in the choices.

Attached: sale.png (613x280, 45K)

No, what the fuck are you doing?

Are you the only person in the world that know what those games are?

They're all good games, just niche. Looks like a good selection if you're into brawlers and strategy games. Maj'Eyal is fantastic.

Have $6 left, any game around $5 that gives me hundreds of hours of gameplay?

Attached: steamsale.png (603x226, 31K)

Tales of Maj'Eyal is a roguelike. The basic game is free to try out, even, buying it unlocks additional expansion areas/campaigns/classses darkgod has made over the years and some QoL cheats (like an item vault and an infinite lives difficulty)

Yes. Especially if you aren't going to play with friends or grief people.

Terraria?

Definitely keep Danganronpa.

i have that already.

How is X4 nowadays, any better?
Mount & Blade: Warband

excellent taste
