They just have to fix some of BotW's flaws and they'll have literally the greatest Zelda game on their hands. BotW's flaws are pretty big, but they're not unfixable and the fact that they're doing a sequel and already have a ton of work done from BotW means they can pour all they work into fixing the flaws of BotW which they already somewhat tried to show with the DLC's in the game although that wasn't a fix of any kind and more of a "look, we can actually do a lot more with this". I feel like a lot of concessions were made for BotW because it's so huge, but now they can make something truly great.

Have faith in Aonuma. BotW 2 will fix all the flaws of the first game, they know what to do. Think of BotW as a tech demo for BotW 2. It will add much needed verticality and density to the world. There'll be more than just Shrines and pieces of Korok shit to discover. We'll have underground dungeons, more villages, more useful items (Link's fucked up hand), more enemy variety, more side quests (that aren't just fetch quests), random encounters, mysteries, etc

BotW 2 will NOT be short of things to do or discover. They'll likely play it less safe this time and even incorporate the more wacky/zany elements of the franchise. Remember the BotW concept art with Aliens and Minish people? The best Zelda game ever made is in the works right fucking now, just wait and see. This will be the one to surpass Majora's Mask.

Their attack pattern is more annoying than the others, but once you learn it they're not too bad. The scary one is the spin attack. You just have to make sure you're always in front of the Lynel so they won't use that attack.
The other scary one is the charge smash with the big shockwave. That one's kind of a coin toss whether you can avoid it.
One strategy is to force them to spin attack and sprint out of range. The lynel will be extremely easy to headshot with an arrow right at the end of a spin attack.

You guys don't because it's succeeding in spades by pissing you off.

I know this is an unpopular opinion, but ALBW is my favorite zelda game. It's like ALttP but with a lot of its issues fixed. The only real issue is the difficulty though. You can spend a lot of time on ALttP because it's hard, but you can knock out ALBW in two days since it's not nearly as difficult.

Everything is washed oout in the distance just like in real life and you have to turn up the saturation so it looks like a proper videogame: corful. It is not cinematic, there's hardly any cutscenes. There's next to no dialogue or tutorials. It's not holding my hand at all and there's just a handful of quest markers. I heard you actually have to find the items fetch quests ask you for without getting a marker, how are you supposed to know where it is otherwise? Same goes for those memeory cutscenes. The weapons break constantly and it prevents you from curbstomping everything with an early game strong weapon. There's 900 korok seasd that game doesn't even show on map until you find them either. There is no sidekick character for you to pretend to be a rather figure even. You can't even play it with superior DS4 controller without having to use a nasty PC, you have to use ToyCons.
What's the point at playing it. -100/10, worst game ever.
