>pure shit until he learns Divide

Then he becomes the best in the game

Erik is great from beginning to end what in the world are you on about. Literally no enemy in the game has poison resistance.

>bothering with useless shit like status ailment
Just use Gigaslash

too bad he's annoying with a lame design

it's just a SSB thief character.

A weak ass move that doesn't come until into hours into the game? Okay?

he gets a skill that fucks up a foe if they are poisoned

>spend 2 turns when 99% of fights hero or Jade can finish an enemy per turn

Can you create builds in Dragon quest?

>debuffs and ailments are useless
Hello FF player.

The difference is that Jade doesn't show up with her Multi-thrust spear of death move until midway through the painfully long game, and Erik is there early on.

On games with class system and/or skill point allocation, yes. But stat gakns are fixed for all characters on all games

that is an optional boss

so not one of the 99% of fights?

>Luminary, Erik, Veronica, Rab
my exact team

Luminary, Erik, Sylvando, Serena

>Good at the beginning, alright in the middle, amazing at the very end

The game wasnt even hard.
I only had to grind to beat that very last boss.
It was the easiest Dragon Quest.

Becomes Death Incarnate after acquiring both divide and his instant crit ability
