It starts out great but devolves into you having to use the most powerful weapons rather than the most fun as enemies turn into bullet sponges and levels become more puzzle-like, which slows down the action considerably. First two chapters are awesome, though.

It's fun but really short, like 3-4 hours max, and in the later levels there's more of an emphasis on platforming than doing cool shootouts
I'd wait for it go on sale for $10 or less or just pirate it instead because what's there is really barebones but still fun at times

It's good for what it is. Though it's way too easy, even on the hardest difficulty it's still pretty easy, mostly because of virtually infinite bullet time.

Great core gameplay, good music, good animations. Level design is very good in an objective sense throughout, but the last world has too much of a platforming focus despite still being good. Bosses are a mixed bag; two are decent, one is pretty good, one is shit, and one is fantastic. Story and humor are shit, skip whenever possible. I got it with the pre-release 15% off and I think that is about the maximum it's worth. There's a flash game you can play from the same guy with the same name, and it's the same thing but much more simple in terms of level design and mechanics. If you like it, the full game looks and plays a lot better.
My #1 complaint is there's no option to return to old levels with the endgame arsenal. I want to delete World 1 with the Shotgun, Sniper, and Grenades.

It was fun right up until halfway through the sewer when the shotgun went from a one-shot-kill to 3 shots minimum. Bullet sponge enemies simply aren't fun.
