Redpill me on this game
Redpill me on this game
Lightning is the only good thing to ever come out of Final Fantasy.
Holy shit, FFXIII was released 9 years ago. I feel old.
Monkey tier take
Deepest lore of all FF games
Literally one of the worst FF girls.
Lightning-sama please cuck me
I want to lick all of the female character's sweaty armpits.
Solid 6/10, 13-2 bumps it all the way to 7.5/10, 13-3 dumps it back to 6/10 though
Tap one single button to win every fight. Stick girl fails at everything and the main villain was right all along anyway.
Most Final Fantasy games are retarded, but the Lightning games take the cake so hard they shouldn't even be part of the same series.
The only reason it got 3 games was because the director was in love with Lightning. He really tried his damnest to push her as one of the "biggest FF protagonists" while adding her as a fashion icon for the brand.
Her sister is better though. Great bazongas on a small body.
>Tap one single button to win every fight
Name a single FF game that doesn't play like that. No, not a spin-off, an actual FF game.
awful taste
this game sucks OP. About the only redeeming feature is the combat can be fun but even then it takes way too long to get interesting to any degree. The game is simplified to the most bare bones level where not only is the game mostly composed of corridors, but there's nothing interesting to see in them. No interesting treasures that can't just be repurchased later, and really they're just different weapons that are not that interesting. Every other treasure are generic interchangeable upgrade items. No sidequests or missable things. The closest you get to it is Gran Pulse and the postgame where the game litters around a bunch of kill quests for you, and the main goal becomes to grind adamantoises for many hours until you cap out everyones Crystarium. The world lore could've been interesting but the world building in cutscenes barely exists and requires mostly sifting through datalogs to get any meaning of whats happening. The game feels clearly unfinished where the levels are strung together with no rhyme or reason because they ran out of time. The story is mostly just characters being indecisive and scratching their heads on what to do until they form their grand plan of "do exactly what the villain wants us to do like we've always been doing".
shit lore though
>early boss has 400k hp
>user actually spent 30 minutes killing it with a medic paradigm
lol
>tap one single button to win every fight
So you tell me you tap single button to fight Adamantoise and win?
Wow
The literal definition of "it gets good after 50 hours"
Its to be expected from turn base combat when you're selecting attack/item/magic/whatever from a simple text UI. Its not what you'd expect from real active combat.
this is a load of shit. ff13 was my first final fantasy and i loved it. it actually made me go back and play the previous games which i also love. stay madga
Corridor walker with no charm. Lifeless atmosphere. Annoying characters, with no charisma. Shit story, shit pacing, no fun.
accurate
The only true redpill so far.
Combat system with the most depth out of any FF ever launched, though it can only be experienced in its full potential after 16 hours in the game. Shit characters. Shit level design.
as much as I dislike FF XIII, the people making the "lol auto battle" argument are, and have always been, the types that start complaining when bosses enrage and cast Doom later in the game. mixing up paradigms in combat and blazing the enemy down as quickly as possible is the funnest thing about FF XIII.
FFXII
You can win every fight by pressing no buttons at all.
Eat shit. Type 0 did it right.
in actuality it's just people who never played the game and are repeating whatever garbage Yea Forums told them in order to try and fit in. that's the only reasonable explanation.
It's pretty bad.
to be fair I wouldn't recommend people try out XIII for themselves
It's a hallway
It's shit, now stop pretending to br retarded.
