So on June 24th, I posted a text post on Yea Forums to spread new information about Smash Ultimate. I forgot many things, such as a name to call me by. Call me Enenra. But if you aren't aware of what I said, then here it is:
>Hero is released on August 1st. Banjo is coming out in October. Heihachi is revealed and is coming out in the winter.
>Hero's name will be replaced with the Heroes' actual name (Luminary, Erdrick, Solo, Eight).
>New modes are shown in this direct including Home Run Contest, Break the Targets, Smash Run, and Costume Creator. These are set to come out on September.
>The last character is the Doom Slayer. He is revealed at the Game Awards 2019. He's being released after December but before February.
>There will be a 2nd fighter pass and the first character will be revealed in February.
>The first character of the 2nd Fighter Pass is Steve from Minecraft.
Now that out of the way, I have new information regarding Smash Bros. Ultimate from several sources.
>Home Run Contest, Break the Targets, and Smash Run are complete.
>Home Run Contest and Break the Targets started development around the time of E3 2018. They were planned to be in the base game but the dev team realized they needed to work on characters more than modes since they only had a few months.
>Costume Creator is still in the works and won't be shown during the August direct. I apologize for this error.
>An expansion to World of Light is currently in it's planning period.
>There will be more than two fighter passes. From what I've been told, there will three or four.
>I've been told that the first character in Fighter Pass 2 is not Steve, but he is in Fighter Pass 2.
>The first character in Fighter Pass 2 is Sephiroth from Final Fantasy VII and is coming out in March to coincide with the release of the Final Fantasy VII Remake.
