No. You need capacity to hold those points. You had a starting capacity on day one but if you used any points your capacity goes down with them. You get 100 free capacity per day plus 100 capacity for dollar spent in the Steam store.

Everyone got a big lump sum of "capacity" (not points) on the first day. The FAQ is saying that it's based on your previous purchases and leftover lunar new year tokens, but no one knows how this lump sum was calculated.

Corgi has a guaranteed first place but your changes are lower since it's the one everyone else joins. What you want is second or third.
