I'm poor

I have and run out of games too. Beat saber is still pretty fucking awesome and I can't wait to make some space in my living room to play again. Anybody knows if the update to 1.00 is worth something ? I have a previous one that works well and don't feel like redownloading all of the mods and beatsaver songs.

Waiting for Index to come out, gonna check reviews and if they're good I might pick one up. I tried out beat saber and blade & sorcery which was really fun

>I have and run out of games too.
What games have you played?
I bought moss for the quest and its actually enjoyable.
Owned it on the vive before that and trying to do platforming with the vive wands touchpads was absolutely infuriating.

> Anybody knows if the update to 1.00 is worth something ?
Aren't they adding official mod support?

I did already.

Legit don't see the need for this game to be VR. Played the demo and it was boring tbqh.
Now RIGS, there's a game I can get behind.

>VR """"games"""""

It gets more interesting the further you progress imo

>Legit don't see the need for this game to be VR.
A bunch of situations don't work with a static camera, and controlling the camera would ruin all of the other situations by requiring extra controls. I liked being able to move my head to peak here or there, and to stop the water mill or some shit like that. It feels good and its intuitive.

>Now RIGS, there's a game I can get behind.
Not on PC, don't care.

this, platformers in general benefit a lot from the non-static camera

Beat Saber - Neat, infinite replayability so long as people make new levels
Elite Dangerous - Fantastic but the game's lack of depth makes it somewhat unfun after the initial greatness of feeling like a fighter pilot
Arizona sunshine - Terrible looking but scary enough to be interesting
To the top - Fantastic game is you're afraid of heights
Superhot - Neat party game, not much replayability
Gorn - Likewise, nice for showing off the VR to friends or having a good workout, not much more
Robo recall - A fantastic looking scoring VR sort-of-rail-shooter
The invisible hours - An adventure game that's worth playing once
I expect you to die - A bit bland, fun for a couple of minutes
Jet island - Interesting concept but extremely poorly executed, the most boring thing on VR.
Job simulator
Lone Echo - Peaceful story, very nicely executed, highly recommended
Subnautica - Great game, poor VR implementation. Ended up playing it without the VR
Keep talking and nobody explodes - Cool party game
La peri - Alright experience; not much of a game
Marshmallow melee - Fun if only for a couple hours
Thumper - Epilepsy alert

VR is a gimmick, it isn't actual VR. Some guy the other day asked if Akko can sit on his face, I told him even if she can you won't feel anything, think about it, if I punched you in the face in VR, would you feel anything? No. This VR isn't VR and it needs to be fucking over.

Budget Cuts - plot driven comedy adventure
Skyrim VR port - really only feels better than the regular control scheme if you play as a mage
Minecraft VR port - bit claustrophobic, but it feels MUCH BETTER than the regular control scheme if you are the type to play survival rather than just build

As I said, moss is pretty awesome in my opinion, but controls are aweful with the vive wands so only get that if you have a Rift or Index.
If you don't have Onward or Pavlov VR, get either or both. They are like the essential VR multiplayer shooters.
In Death is a pretty awesome rouge-like and probably the best bow and arrow gimmick there is youtube.com/watch?v=3nxs4rC-JYo

Also check out Lone Echo 2, Asgards Wrath, Stormland and Defector, all pretty polished looking upcoming games. Defector is out in like two weeks

Espire 1 is also looking top-tier

I have Pavlov, but I've only played it for 5 hours total. Without my glasses I can't really shoot well at long range, and everyone else is just much better than me.
It has that Quake disease, that if you didn't start on release, the few remaining players will not let you play at all, completely demolishing you, to the point where you can't have fun. I've finished games with 0 kills, this never happened to me playing CSGO, which is essentially the same game.

i dont have enough money to eat and i will end probably end up homeless this year. not everyone is born in a first world country where they can earn enough money from doing basic jobs and buy luxury things.

WHERE IS MY FUCKING VALVE INDEX VALVE/GLS HURRY THE FUCK UP

>Tribes ascend in VR

I used to play VR games but then I got a job and just use it for porn now. If you haven't yet, check out Shuri Atomi's VR vid where she's a nurse and then thank me later

Because I only want it for b&s with mods.

Too expensive and I only want it for sim autism, which means I need to buy HOTAS, wheel, pinsim etc. on top.

>depth perception + free camera movement
how were platformers even real before VR?

I'll pick up Pavlov and In Death since they're on sale. Not that into shooters but it's VR's main appeal so I might be surprised. Thanks user, that's really good advice.

>Jokerface

Yeah nah

where can I find more of this?

Does ReVive still work?

Are there any 'full games' yet? Most seem like tech demos or some boring stuff that gets old after you've tried it once. Like job simulator. You play each job once and then you've seen it all

Any good porn games? Don't really like the boring character model games where the chicks just stare at you as you slap her boobs around. Need something with better graphics and more interactive. Otherwise I'll just have to stick to whatever VR porn videos are out there. I have a daydream VR I got for free a year or two ago that I used to use for VR porn. Is there any reason to use the Vive over it?

HAHAH

Okay, last thread's virtamate thing looks fucking amazing
sell me on it, is it the AA2 of VR?
