Is this worth picking up?
Alexander Peterson
Carter Robinson
Hack your 3ds
James Rogers
No.
Dylan Phillips
No. The amount of cutscenes, stupid blocks and pointless dialogs make it terrible. Add the retarded Z-moves and other garbage on in the game on top and you have a truly piece of shit. Still not as bad as the original Sun and Moon though. If you haven't played Ruby and
Sapphire back then you're better off playing the remakes.
Adam Moore
>a purchase that sent the message to GF that having entire pokemon exclusive to a single game is okay
pirate it
Levi Lee
The first one is, this is literally v2. Like BW2 was.
Jacob Foster
Sun and Moon are awful. And that's coming from someone that enjoyed XY.
Thomas Lopez
No, Ultra Sun is better.
Cooper Sullivan
SPBP
David Smith
Maybe OP doesn't have ADHD?
Jacob Edwards
Only if you didn't play base Sun and Moon. It also depends on how much you care about story. The story in this one is complete nonsense but the gameplay is better in every way.
Brody Murphy
God no, a 1000 Lillies no! Too boring, world isn't fun to explore, it's all green or yellow corridors. Pokemon distribution is mostly KANTOOOOOOOOO, way to much focus on legendaries/UB
Also ya, the cutscene over load is as bad as they say
Christian Mitchell
>Playing pokemon
Isaiah Fisher
if you're ok with the constantly being interrupted to recite a story made for children, or be given another tutorial you should maybe consider suicide.
Jayden Brown
BW2 were sequels that feel like their own games, unlike the 3rd installments or ultra games
Gavin Powell
So BW?
William Wright
This
Lincoln Wood
>thing reserved for storyless past-credits is "way to much focus"
What?
Jonathan Thomas
it's not half as bad, and bw2 is much better
Brody Robinson
It depends.
I think it's the best 3ds pokemon game, but that is not saying much.
I'd say pirate or emulate it first.
Colton Garcia
No, BW is just as bad. BW2 is not BW so who the fuck gives a shit. And it has a shit maingame too.
Carson Cook
i honestly haven't played bw since the sequels have come out but it can't be that bad. i tried playing moon this past week and i wanted to claw my eyes out it's so boring.
Jackson Price
This
Aiden Myers
As i said: ADHD. BW literally holds your hand to get in the first route. And the first thing you do after getting into a new city is reading nonsensical babble from a not-evil team leader. Nobody has a decent team until badge 8.
At least SM mixes it up with fighting totems and legendaries a few times.
Noah Rivera
Maybe OP wants to be warned he's gonna be stopped every 5 minutes by retarded characters spouting basically the same dimensional garbage plot from Diamond and Pearl in the most obnoxious way.
Ian Murphy
Yeah, BW.
Blake Williams
I use a metric to gauge Pokemon games, time to starter. SuMo hovered around 25 minutes. So when UlSuUlMo knocked that number down to 3 minutes I thought the game was fixed. However they just moved that 20 minute of cutscenes to after you got the starter and actually added more. Real dick move. So, hot take, this game is even worse than SuMo. Ruins Lusamine too.
James Johnson
But worse.
Jordan Johnson
I have but pokemon roms always seem a bit iffy
Easton Lewis
Theres any good porn
Jacob Russell
Yeah. But i don't pretend the problem isn't there unlike BW1 fans.
Austin Robinson
>"Oh no! We have to find Lillie!"
>They mark her location on your map
Sun and Moon were fucking terrible about handholding. The world also felt unbelievably artificial. Every trainer has one or two Pokemon and there's no overlap. They felt like a dex filling mechanic rather than people that could actually exist in that world. Pokemon were the same way. Almost all of them exist in one patch of grass somewhere in the world and you can't find them anywhere else. And if you suffered through SuMo, don't bother with USUM. It's an exact copypaste for 80% of the game. Like EXACT. It's not even a v2. It's the exact same game up until the very end.
Austin Perez

So no difference from the other games?
Lucas Lewis

This look at past games. Just 3 mons on a Victory Road trainer yeah but the team itself was well fucking worthy.
Austin Lopez
yes
