Anyone other Nintendo fans sick to death of Nintendo?
Not only did they blatantly scam me with the Wii U porting away all its games and charging more for them, but they completely and utterly ignore the few of their IPs I DO like. They also do retarded shit like charging $20 for paid online when they don't even have servers to maintain, consistently releasing gimmicky under-powered hardware, and releasing C-tier games they know they can get away with because they're Nintendo.
>blatantly scam me with the Wii U porting away all its games and charging more for them You don't have to buy them again on Switch if you already played them on Wii U. Especially if like you say, they charge more for them on Switch, in fact you could say they're scamming people who didn't own a Wii U instead.
It's pretty bad, I am also lemon faced at how bad the Switch has been, there's a few games coming this year but it's too little too late, third party support has failed to grow into anything remotely meaningful, and Nintendo's own support has been lackluster at best. I'm just not sure what future the Switch and Nintendo had at this point.
Brayden Cox
I personally didn't, but I still think it's shitty. And the worst part is they get away with it because the vast majority of Switch owners never owned a Wii U and treat them as though they were brand new releases. Many Yea Forums Nintendo fans do this when only a few years ago they did nothing but shill the Wii U day and night.
David Martinez
They have the fucking time to add in Bayonetta and literal who swordfighters, but NOT Bandana Dee???
Robert Cox
>Game is $9.99 on PS4 and Xbox >$29.99 on Nintendo Switch Every fucking time.
Dylan Barnes
I don't see what's wrong with the ports. I bought a wii u and I don't really give a shit, it's not like it affects the game I already have. How many wii u games even got a switch port? Bayo 2, tropical freeze, what else?
Carter Myers
Mario Kart 8, Captain Toad, New Super Mario Bros U, more I'm forgetting.
Adrian Gray
Every. Single. Time. It's amazing how Yea Forums Nintendo fans in particular refuse to acknowledge any criticism of Nintendo and instead choose to instigate the console warring they're convinced every other faction of gaming wages against them.
The only real problem is that Nintendo used these games to fill holes in their release cycle, only to turn around and show that they had no plan for the Switch past year 1. There's already a drought coming for the first half of 2020, it's that bad.
Ryder Perry
It'd probably help your case if you didn't use a damn wojack which murders all chance of being taken seriously in cold blood.
Gavin Adams
You kidding me? There've been no interesting exclusive games from Nintendo period since Odyssey. We're in the middle of the biggest console drought since the days of the 3DO and CDI, but since Smash (which by the way, is one game) came out all of that is nullified.
Jack Taylor
>Nintendo fan Imagine being such a corporate cock sucker that you're a fan of a multi billionaire company
Luke James
The same as they've always had, everything you just said has applied to every Nintendo system since the N64. You just have to take the good with the bad, and you should have either a PS4 or a gaming PC as your primary system anyway.
Sebastian Hernandez
>ignore the few of their IPs I DO like Which are?
Anthony Collins
Pikmin, Metroid, and F-Zero are the especially neglected ones, but I also like BOTW style Zelda (I HATE Zelda games between OOT and SS) and Mario.
Christopher Wilson
lmao if you bought a wii u you deserve everything what a retard
Luke Anderson
They don’t need a plan past year one. Year one was getting the console in homes. Anything after that is just gravy.
Nathaniel Jones
>We're in the middle of the biggest console drought since the days of the 3DO and CDI Wii U had worse droughts than the switch easily
Joshua Thompson
Arlo?
Brody Martinez
>There've been no interesting exclusive games from Nintendo period since Odyssey Xenoblade 2, but since then there's been nothing on the platform, there was a few indie games, Smash, but over a whole year 2 games, that's drought, over 6 months, 2 games, that's also drought. The drought ends starting with Super Mario Maker, but it's going to start again after Luigi's Mansion releases, it will continue into 2020 because one game doesn't end a drought.
You're ignoring one major factor, the Switch is both Nintendo's development teams on a single platform, Luigi's Mansion, 2d Zelda, Fire Emblem, Kirby, Mario Party, Animal Crossing, Mario Sports, all of these were previously prioritized for handheld platforms last gen, so that begs the question, if the handheld games are the ones actually on the Switch, where are the console games?
Definitely.
Adrian Russell
If you don't count ports then it certainly didn't.
Kayden Jackson
You got burned once, it's your fault for putting your hand back on the stove.
I didn't feel burned by the Wii U until the Switch came about.
Andrew Butler
it did, there were 2 whole years of nothing
Robert Parker
Nintendo did. They did so hard Iwata took a pay cut.
Isaac Smith
Wow, how noble of him. Please.
Brayden Gutierrez
To go more into it, what's more important in the grand scheme of the game industry? Nintendo escaping the money hemorrhage by making an actual success or you being bummed out that you already bought a handful of games exists on this successful thing?
Ryder Lopez
I don't give a fuck about the grand scheme of the game industry I care about having good games I like.
David Flores
But you already do by the sounds of it. At lower prices too if you get them for your Wii U.
Leo Lewis
Careful you might get banned.
Nathaniel Howard
This. Criticizing Nintendo is grounds for a ban, don't you know?
Christian Adams
I'm aware. That's why I haven't used any pointed language.
