Pathologic 2 Thread

You did NOT let any of your steppekids even get infected now, did you?
You aren't a lazy bum, right?

I'm on day 6. Peter Stamatin is the only one that's died so far. I have two infected though. God I hope Grimm doesn't die from the infection and take all his store wares.

I quit because several kids just up and disappeared and I couldnt be assed replaying, ill eventually get back toit

Day 10?

I guess I'll ask. If the die rolls bad and Grimm does die, can I still buy his stuff from someone else?

>Peter Stamatin is the only one that's died so far
RIP. Peter and Anna are one of the few adults that I'd suggest wasting shmowders on, if you can spare them. They got a LOT of extra characterization and plenty of interactions in general.

Also
>Grimm

>Grimm
Yes.

Oh yeah, Grief. The fuck did I pull grimm from?

>oh he's one of my friends and a nice person, his goons even saved me from death once and he offered stuff to me!
>I'll make sure he is ok no matter what!
>then the heel turn at the railroad tracks happens
Fuck griff

I'm unironically thinking of restarting on day 5 because I died 4 times to the worm niggers and don't want Mark to cuck me.

I did let murky die on day 6 because I needed that dream for muh achievements on my last playthrough

you don't even need to start this quest in order to save stah, but if you want use low durability lockpicks, if they break on an enemy its an instakill

Is it ever worth buying the gun in the first few days?
I've figured out how to deal with them sense, it was just there two hit combo was throwing me off and everytime I dealt with the first and went for another I'd get jumped from behind. I figured out how to deal with them since then.

gun sucks, it's better to just loot it from a house, for me it often jammed but it was ok when you have bunch of bullets to spare, also, some tips, blocking blocks all melee dmg, so worm and human punches, along with blocking a good chunk of knife damage, but dont hold block for long or they'll proc a block-breaker. You can also kill a mob without them aggroing you if you just hold sneak and keep attacking them with your fist from behind

It lets you deal with infected folks without eating a fistful of sand aids every time. Technically, it helps if you get ganged up on too, but you really shouldn't engage more than two enemies at a time either time.
I'd say it's worth it, yeah.

What the fuck is her problem?

Attached: 20190626025610_1.jpg (1920x1080, 182K)

maria was always a bit "out there" shame they game kapella the same treatment, she turned from one of your best friends and allies in the first game to basically a whiny bitch to is too big for her britches and openly says she doesn't like us

Is Sticky based?

I told on her to her dad. Was that the right call?

no , her "efforts" don't really matter. You get the "rotten tooth" achievement when talking to her. In order to stop the outbreak in the stoneyard the next day you have to mark the "silent house" which is next to the cathedral in the back.

Yes, especially when MUST HAVE COME FROM THE HOSPITAL

Best kid. YOU SHOULD KNOW.

So the curse changeling gives you for entering the nutshell doesn't actually do anything right, it's just a meta thing?
I did as well, but I havent went past day 5 so I can't say. Considering how much of a bitch she is I wouldn't be surprised if it comes back to bite you in the ass.

A N D T H O S E T W I S T Y Y A R D S

Look I like Sticky but autistic daughterfu beats him.

nah it doesn't matter at all, nothing comes out of it when you tattle on her, I did because she's crazy.

Also yea, the curse is just an achievement

>Hey bro let's rob a store lol
Yes
Him, Notkin and Murky are the only ones that actually act like children and so happens to care about you and risk shit for you
Protect them at all costs
I mean Taya kinda counts too but she's like 4 at max and kinda autistic

Is that where you can get more weapons other than buying them, looting districts with looters? I haven't done much of that but I did get leather gloves from one.

>>Hey bro let's rob a store lol
That was great. Got myself a free toolbox and started making tonics because of the plan.

I liked Sticky and Grace more than Murky.

>only a toolbox
Get a load of this smooth ttalker
I got a toolbox, fucking slightly damaged boots that early - I repeat, not shitty shoes but boots and many more irrelevant and nice shit

you don't need gloves to loot infected districts, when you enter a looting window with the drawers, you can see some of them are a bit darker, their graphics have some cracks in them, this means if you touch em your immunity will take a hit. Looting infected houses is always a safer bet because you can reload when you take plague cloud to the face but you can't reload when suddenly 10 knife wielding looters spawn in your room in post-infection districts. Gloves are pretty cheap and you can buy em in the clothing stores anyway

I got some other stuff. Only remember the toolbox though since that was the goal.

Grace is cool too but I hate how devoid of content the game is with some of the named characters
We seriously need more interactions

WHERE THE FUCK IS STICKY ON DAY 9, I CAN'T FUCKING HEAL HIM IF HE'S NOT IN THE HOUSE NOW CAN I

in the polyhedron

Bachelor soon, fellow healer.

Y O U A R E T H E D O C T O R Y O U S H O U L D K N O W

THEY WON'T LET ME THE FUCK IN GOD DAMN IT

Okay, can I do the Abattoir blood quest on day 10? I just need the fucking bags of shit to not disappear and they do once the day switches over

Attached: 1560705821356.png (480x696, 255K)

>hey son uuuh I need you to take care of these people but I couldn't be bothered to tell that or why in this note
>good luck figuring out that obscure as shit symbol as well loser cya
What was his fucking problem?

How the fuck does the Termitary questline trigger if you manage to make the panacea?
I checked some youtube videos and shitters who failed to make the panacea on day 6 get a thought on day 7 about visting Var who points them to Shekken where they find Oyun

Attached: 1446743466603.png (366x413, 75K)

you do it on day 9, you can get 5 blood vials max in there, theyre given to you after you complete the quest in there

also tough luck about sticky HE'S NOT COMING OUT AND YOU'RE NOT COMING IN

he says it was never about you following blindly in his footsteps because he realized the follies of his ways in last stages of his life. Isidor actually wanted you to figure your fate for yourself, it was never about the inheritance but rather about the choice, in the day 10 dream isidor even tells you that both choices are correct as long as they're your choices (to save the people or rather save the town/preserve the past)

you should get called by Oyun to the old village where he tells you that you'll visit the termitiery in due time

Attached: 20190617093607_1.jpg (1920x1080, 228K)

>you don't get a quest where you have to find her doll which wandered off into the steppe
unbased

>also tough luck about sticky HE'S NOT COMING OUT AND YOU'RE NOT COMING IN
You serious? I have shit to heal him with (I actually have enough to heal everyone but ONE person, tough fucking luck Anna.

When I played the game on release I didn't get called at all so I missed the entire questline

Attached: 1447445843985.jpg (501x361, 47K)

i had the same problem on my first playthrough. I think it's because it triggers when you visit Kapella where she calls to you and you meet her near the victoria tombs and all that, cant forget when it happens but she says she decided to take care of your kids for you. I skipped the quest on my second playthrough and it seems the kids didn't vanish, can't tell for sure. Might ask on the steam forums about it

it should happen on day 7. Before that you have to make panacea on day 6 ( in order for this to happen you need to make AND test some brewed antibiotics made from infected organs, you can test like two of them, but it's needed for the dream to trigger on day 6 - the dream will lead you to the old village were you're given two vials of blood to make the panacea with)

Sticky took one for the team so you can protect Anna's smile. Don't let down your steppechild, emshen.

I just got the blood. How do I make panacea with them? I am really worried about wasting them.

use one of the tinctures on the big machine in your hideout, later that day on day 6 night you will have an option to test it in a quest as well

Is any tincture ok? The process of what mixes to make what has seemed random to me. I am worried of mixing the wrong tincture and getting something useless.

how was anna further developed? i just found her once in an infected house and then did that useless "cursed heart" quest, but i don't remember other interactions after that

you can't mess it up, plus tinctures just take less time to brew

That is good news and a relief to hear.

Maybe it's because I only played Bachelor in classic right before starting 2 but was she that much of a cunt in the original in other routes? Also I recall Haruspex in Bachelors route being arrested on day 6 or something and you need to break him out, does he spend more time on the run in the original?

Did you miss the dialogue about her past on, I think, day 4? It pretty much props up all other interactions with her. No matter what she does with all the kids she steals now, you can see her struggling with the guilt.

yeah totally missed it somehow, this game is too fucking big

It happens. The game only points you to her house on that day if you drank your twyre.

cute

Attached: 20190626190522_1.jpg (1920x1080, 209K)

you can check the achievement guide on steam, you can talk with eve and anna on day 4, and with maria kain on day 6. Plus the baby saving quests in the infected districts that span day 4-5 only proc IF anna is alive.

I had Notkin die, presumably because of Capella. He got the most unlucky imaginable throws. Got sick despite me giving him the strongest tonic available. The next day he wasn't at his hideout: I assume because Cappella brought him to the polyhedron, because that was her deal on that day, and he insta-died the very next night.
Poor kid.

I did make the panacea on time, my days went like this
>6 panacea-making
>7 fucking nothing except really minor stuff
>8 fucking nothing except really minor stuff
>9 fucking nothing except minor stuff like telling Capella to fuck off then abbatoir funtimes during the end of the day
>10 healing everyone
>11 couriers quest

>What the fuck is her problem?
She is turning into her mother. Literally.

>Give bachelor the bulls blood
>offers to let you crash on the bed because you look exhausted
Thanks bro.

Attached: 20190626021436_1.jpg (1920x1080, 207K)

strange, maybe you skipped a dialogue with some important person along the way? You should get a plot point where oyun goes to the lost village

Attached: 20190626021442_1.jpg (1920x1080, 171K)

>holy shit
That was a great reaction to hearing he tested them on himself. Especially if you played Bachelor and did the mission where you test it on yourself and damn near die.

>Bachelor gets infected before day 5
I guess the "look for the kid in the infected district" day 3 quest still exists huh
Hope the rip heart out quest still exists

Attached: 1559672728998.jpg (1166x1710, 1.07M)

The dead shop on day 10 had an extra shmowder, so I can now save literally everyone. Fuck you, plague!

Attached: 20190627134936_1.jpg (1920x1080, 115K)

>bitch to is too big for her britches
That is literally her most prominent character in the original as well. I think she got better developed in Bachellor route in the original, than in Haruspex one. I did like the change, despite the fact that it made her less likable. It makes more sense for her, as a character.

On day 5 it sold me candy wrapper. Those candy wrappers better come in handy. I bought a lot.

>Fuck you, plague!
lewd, but go for it

They kinda will.

Attached: 1558741061642.jpg (808x891, 247K)

>was she that much of a cunt in the original in other routes
Yes, as the Haruspex in 1 she still had the "get the fuck out of my house" dialogue and if you talked to her again she tanked your reputation
Changeling too but her route is full of dialogue choices that ruin her reputation
>does he spend more time on the run in the original?
He has to break himself out

POOOWEEERS THAT BEEEEE

It's day 10 and a peaceful solution to the termitary problem hasn't presented itself yet. Wat do, emshens.

Attached: 1559378749551.jpg (753x1049, 173K)

go to sleep

What's the opinion on Khan?
I guess. I never really got that impression in the first game, she just kind of keeps acting like she's dying.

Attached: 20190623225244_1.jpg (1920x1080, 159K)

If you pick the other option they basically just lament they can't make the shmowders themselves.

Is there even a single, just fucking one (1) good Kain both of the fucking games?Jesus christ they are all fucking assholes.

Kill them all. They deserve nothing else.

khan is cool, he decided to stay in thE NUTSHACK if you do the house of death quest on day 3 so he's mature enough to take the responsibility of not spreading the plague, he even says later in the game he's sorry for how he treated you

no bully the kin

They will deserve better when you show them the way user

Rubin really is a fucking idiot.
I mean, he's saying he won't go back to the tower in case he brings the plague with him and infects everyone, and right after that apologizes to you for acting like a shit in the broken heart.

Attached: 20190626011108_1.jpg (1920x1080, 154K)

>I guess. I never really got that impression in the first game, she just kind of keeps acting like she's dying.
In the first game, she literally surrenders her body to the soul of her mother, and will become her. Her mother, by the way, was a LEGENDARY bitch. In this game, they made it more so that she actually resembles her mother's personality from the start, and I kinda expect that they will change this element of the story.
It does make sense that she would be similar to her mom, to be honest.

He is better developed than in the first game, that is for sure. I kinda learned to like him. He as the trademark Kain assholism about him, but now he is also a fair bit reasonable and responsible than he was in the first game.

Fuck kin

Attached: 20190626003044_1.jpg (1920x1080, 165K)

Same thing happens with Gregori and Simon right?

That is quite literally just a mud sack of organs you dumbfuck, of course it's stupid

>why think without reason
This is so dumb it circles back around to accidentally being deep.

because no one give a single fuck to actually show them the alternative, they've been like this for literal thousands of years, you can't expect them to change all of a sudden, peaceful solution to termitiery problem changes that however
yes

>It does make sense that she would be similar to her mom, to be honest.
True
Didn't something like that happen to Victor as well? I recall him acting odd as well.

Attached: 20190626233748_1.jpg (1920x1080, 173K)

Attached: 20190626233800_1.jpg (1920x1080, 203K)

>does he spend more time on the run in the original?
No. He does start with zero reputation on day 1, but by the end of day 1 his reputation will be restored.
He does get locked up in the original - ambushed and locked up on day 6, and has to break himself out. It's funny because in the original, he never actually learns WHO put him in the jail and why. But otherwise it's a quite annoyoing quest, because it just effectively means you lose half a day for no particular reason, so I don't mind they dropped it out.

Attached: 20190626233805_1.jpg (1920x1080, 177K)

Wow, I finished the game twice already and I never thought of going back and talking to him. Quite a fun little exchange.

>Followed my heart
Why is Cub such a shit.

>he actually puts out the lamp if you tell him to
At least he's willing to listen to reason.

You get a achievement for it. Same as bringing back food to the kid in the soul and halves place who gives you milk and toast.

Victor is pretty reasonable in 2
>misses Khan
>stops the people who were hiding dead bodies but does nothing to them
>willing to share info
>isn't retarded like Georgy

I also recall getting one for stopping at Aspity's place, giving money to the steppe folk in her home. Can't remember the reason why you give it to them.

You DID keep the leash right?

Attached: 20190623225453_1.jpg (1920x1080, 279K)

Till day 4, yeah :^)

lol no fuck Notkin

they give you money to bribe fat vlad to let them into termitiery, you can give the money back to them because you're unable to go into termitiery anyway

I just convinced Notkin that killing was bad and the quest ended there so I got no leash
I killed Lika in Patho 1 though

If you didn't get the leash, you didn't convince Notkin of anything. You just ended that quest early.

yeah, i always answer that "Yes, i killed someone, but killing is never right, and it's also bad to seek revenge because life finds a way to punish the wicked."

You get the leash if you go to Lika but let him walk, Notkin just let's you keep the one you were suppose to give him. Speaking of which, is there any benefit to sparing Lika?

I think just "feel good feeling" Not sure if giving him the leash AFTER persuading notkin revenge is bad changes anything, but there's no outcome of it it later in the game. Just some dialogue later in the game saying how notkin is grateful we showed him the way

What did they actually do to him anyway? Dumb in in Vlad jrs hole and leave him there till his mind broke?

ye i think so, either that or notkin and lika just both prank you

>till his mind broke
Is that actually what happened? I got the impression it's just another game of theirs. Since they've put a leash on a dog and all that.

it might be just their game, since it's know that dogheads regularly trade leashes with notkin's gang all the time so it's not really a big deal, but notkin also stated he would "put him 6 feet under" as in put him underground, so both possibilities can be true

There is an implication they made him enter the well in young Vlad's place.
That, alongside with the decorations in Nutshell actually suggests the children are far more privy to the horrors of the Abattoir and Termitary than we would like to know.

ye I suppose, it's just i wouldn't put it past them for them to actually try and prank you and make it into a joke, given the fact the whole cache game from day 2 was just a ploy from the kids to lure you into killing a dude they didn't like

>a dude they didn't like
He's a murderer, not just a dude they didn't like. According to them, anyway.

he was looking for a thief, he MIGHT have killed someone, but what we know for a fact is that they lied to us and send us on a wild goose chase and told us he was "our father's killer" which was pretty shitty of them

Why the fuck would you murder a fucking kid for you dumb fuck

name another game where I can have the first sidequest reward me for killing a kid
You can't, and that is exactly why I did it
Also I didn't know the Halves aren't real so I thought he had actually killed 3 dogs

>halves aren't real
boi

>Halves aren't real
What the fuck did you just say, you shitty adult?

>reward means good
Good goy

>that chanting when you agree to take your fathers inheritance
Kino.

Attached: 1561555974486m.jpg (789x1024, 39K)

>you can't actually see dogs in this one
Fuck, why?

>day 11
>2 panaceas left, no shmowders
>everyone healthy
a-am I going to make it

Attached: 1558818572636.png (772x611, 624K)

Just make sure everyone at risk gets a tincture, preferably a + one.

I will, just need to administer it now. I haven't tested it more, but I think you can maximize the immunity if you give someone a +tincture from the layer they're from.

there's no plague check on day 11, even if they get infected on day 10 at midnight they'll be fine

Is it just me or does this feel a bit easier? Infection isn't as big of a concern now.

Nice. Feels weird that the game lets you off the hook at the end.

Compared to the original? The game's way fucking harder user.

Eh, just feel like the tinctures and crafting make it a bit easier then when I played Bachelor in the original. That said I dread playing Bachelor now since you'll be fucked out of crafting.

ye, kain got infected on day 10 but there's no plague check the next day so they'll survive anyway

>Infection isn't as big of a concern now.
Nigga, you die in less than a day if you get infected and don't take care of it.

im sure he'll be given different things to mitigate the play style, he will either be given new methods to do so, or he won't have to focus on it altogether

Yeah but I find it pretty easy to take care of, just pop a immunity booster if a cloud hits me instantly and I'm good. Otherwise just don't hang around too much in infected areas. Although maybe that's because when I started I made sure to trade for every immunity booster I saw available.

>game only uses 1gb of ram
What were they thinking?

Is there any easy way to get a gun? I recall in the original you could find a gun on day 1 of Bachelor where everyone is burning that chick at the stake. 3k seems like a lot to waste on one.

You aren't finding one just lying around somewhere and 3k is nothing compared to what Grief will want for one later.

actually you can, in one of the playthroughs i managed to find it in the infected house you have to visit on day 3 where you have to visit the district near stamatin's bar and give the papers to the district prefect. It's not guaranteed but you can find the firearm as loot for sure

Well after looking at the thread on user mentioned finding one in a house though the few times I went looking in a abandoned district I found at most clothing items. Might be worthwhile just going looting instead.

I didn't see it on either of my playthroughs - nor did I see one in other houses. Wouldn't really count on that desu.

I never used the revolver, it jams a lot, even when its in the first tier of degradation, sure, it can kill a guy in two hits but lockpicks are more reliable in dispatching foes. Always be wary when you loot post infected district, granted if you keep pressing C the looters won't aggro you right away, but the can spawn them literally on top of you in the same room. Also infected houses give good loot as well. Don't forget you can steal shit from normal houses as well, there's always good stuff in there and reputation drop is never a real problem because there's a lot of things that will raise it anyway, like quests and the hospital job

>lockpicks are more reliable in dispatching foes
They take up a lot of space. All you need to use the revolver is one slot - for the bullets. And it lets you deal with the walking bodybags without any risk.

yeah but you can also use lockpicks as currency to buy bread on the go, plus i like shanking them in the rectum

What's up with Clara and the soldiers coming to the camp, should I defend her? I think I can do it but I just died for the third time thanks to them, I don't know if it's worth it.

You need a cloak to upgrade your inventory at least 3 times right? It hasn't reached the morning of day 2 yet so I might try and pick up one cheap and then use the other you get from the guards on day 3 outside the infected district.

I finished Bachelor's route a few days ago (including god-children reveal and talking with the devs), but I'm not sure if I'm ready to sink another 50 hours into the game to finish Harushex and Changeling. Are they routes really worth the effort, or can I just play Haruspex in P2 and not miss out on anything?

Attached: 1559653213483.jpg (511x888, 136K)

I did the latter and I doubt I could ever go back to the original because of how much of a improvement it is all around, so keep that in mind. I both loved and hated the original, while I just love 2.

There's like 30 soldiers, nigga. You aren't fighting off all of them, even if the miracle lass needed protecting.

you're meant to sneak away, lel, just hide in a tent and let them pass

normal cloak is only used in the first upgrade, after that you need repellent cloaks for the next 2 upgrades

haruspex route is pretty ok, though changeling's playthrough is really barren though

Aglaya just up and died. Oh well.

Attached: 1558199689367.jpg (237x283, 44K)

>go to Town Hall on day 2
>get told I can't join the watch because I'm on probation
>Joke that I can get my own leather cap
>Visit the Rod on day 5 for Changeling
>Saburov tells you that you can't join the watch because your talents would be wasted there and how they're out of leather caps anyway
>Can joke about bringing my own
What did they mean by this?

youtube.com/watch?v=nXVVvQP1TwU

Game is ass. It’s an absolute chore to play

just a running ingame gag/joke I suppose

Do you ever get anything from getting your family home back from the Kains?
Zoomer.

I guess I'll start Haruspex in the original for now and see how long I last. If it's really bad I'll just switch to P2.

Attached: 1559616900221.jpg (500x287, 50K)

Devs
>make it to where you character has to eat every 30 minutes or he starves to death
>then adds difficulty sliders and claims your playing the game wrong if you use them
Unreasonable survival mechanics do not make for interesting gameplay

>devs tell you git gud
Based IPL

He always gets infected on day 4 I think. If you follow his quest line he'll escort you to haunted house where death resides and you'll have fight it a bit. Regardless of whether you go with him or not he still goes there with Khan and gets infected.

yeah, some people say bachelor's path was better, i personally think haruspex was better, simply because you can harvest organs and sell them for herbs with the worms in the steppe camps

>people bitch game's too hard
>devs add sliders so you can manipulate the game to your hearts content or leave them be
>people still bitch
color me surprised

Do you ever spend much time with Grace after day 2 or Notkin after the house incident on day 3? On day 5 and it feels like the game sort of forgot about them.

thats what happens to a lot of the npcs, you a small quest for grace where you can send her away to live with peter stamatin, and it's pretty cool moment

Was there a way of saving her? I just told her to fuck herself when she wanted me to leave.

Grace gets some quality screen-time, yeah.
Don't expect to see anything of Notkin until the end though. I think IPL didn't think anyone would waste a shmowder on him.

>it feels like the game sort of forgot about them.
Because it does, same thing happened in the original.

Did Victoria ever come up much in the original?

That sucks, I was hoping they'd fix shit like that.

not at all, there's one quest where you visit the tombs to grab a journal and place gets attacked by firestarters but thats about it. Plus maria gets possessed but thats all [/spoiler]

Fuck that, I had to waste like a shmowder and two panaceas on the guy

Attached: 20190601231705_1.jpg (1920x1080, 314K)

Same, he just couldn't catch a break. I'd do it again too, he's a good kid, but it does suck how little you see him this time around.

God, how does Bachelor live at the observatory without dealing with the urge to ravage Eva on a daily basis?

OUR QUARRELS ARE ENDED, OUR FRIENDSHIPS ARE MENDED

I have come with the theory that Isidor Burakh is the same guy as the ancestor from darkest dungeon
Both sound the fucking same, holy shit
Both talk similar
Both do extremely retarded stuff that fucks their towns over
Said stuff involves ''force of nature''-like supernatural shit
It's upto their kids to fix those said shits
Both games have banger soundtracks

I recall in the original people saying him and Eva fucked the night he came into town, is that true?

>grave girl is best girl in both cases
At last, I truly see.

Attached: 1423419176860.png (496x868, 128K)

What do people think of Clara's look? I know she looked qt in the original (at least in the art) but I feel the new look suits her more, especially given how much of a cunt she is.

A-user I think you replied to the wrong post

Did I?

Sfm when

>especially given how much of a cunt she is
But she's a good person.

All my list SURVIVED

it's explained in the artbook, the lack of hair that is, I think othe original look was cute, plus I think the OG clothes were better but we'll see how she played later down the path

He probably does ravage her on a daily basis.

Imago gang. If you’re keeping up on your duties there’s no way to starve to death, collect your food and payment and buy more food

Well, I beat it. I have no fucking idea what they mean about surpassing death but I like that the final conversation you have with Immortell basically confirms the Bachelor will come out at some point.

Also, this bug happened which is pretty spoopy and fitting at the same time.

mark actually tells you a lot behind the whole "surpassing death" when you die a lot, you can allocate a player slot and just keep dying to see what he has to say after you've beaten the game

It's properly the same as what happens in the original.

Fuck off Clara.
Where can I get the art book? I recall hearing there was a reason for Anna's outfit but I don't remember what.

>I recall hearing there was a reason for Anna's outfit but I don't remember what.
Yeah, no idea why she looks like an eskimo in this one. I also ended up saving her and trading her bad fortune away, but honestly the last conversation with her just confused me.

Why does Andrey look like such a faggot now?

But he always did?Wasted trips

>no idea why she looks like an eskimo in this one
I think the artbook says it's to prevent her from doing circus tricks. She'd just start juggling or cartwheeling around without even thinking about it and, as she sees it, that'll blow her cover and immediately get a pitchfork up her child-kidnapping ass, torches and all.

>the last conversation with her just confused me
You quite literally managed to protect that smile.

But she's a child kidnapping bitch who I think ends up in some very heavy denial.

anna

did

nothin' wrong.

You didn't name the bull right?

it doesnt matter

No matter how much she tries to play dumb and deny it, guilt still completely wrecks her.

Based.

>that bondage harness
Wait, what?

A shit! A SHIT I SAY

Post more of Capella, my wife. In fact, post the entire artbook.

in the first game we learn that not only did the Crimson caravan traffic children for slavery and possibly sexual abuse, the troupe actually used magic to steal the people's good looks, that's how Anna got her pretty pretty face. Though in the second game it's only stated that the caravan trafficked kids and sold em to who payed most. On day 4 and 5 we can actually bump into her in infected houses when she risks her life in trying to save infants, so that's pretty based of her honestly, given the fact not a day before she was actually afraid of being touched/ being afraid of germs

Who is best girl?

Attached: 1560034430267m.jpg (1024x531, 113K)

>she risks her life in trying to save infants
But WHERE does she take them?

she doesn't take em, we do. We take them to the town hall, that's where she was planning on taking them because town hall pays a nice sum for every infant saved from the infected houses. We can also say that it was Anna who found the kids first (we get the payment regardless)

Where do I find those babies on days 4 and 5? Is it random what house they show up in?

Struggling through this game was fucking awful at times (in a good way, like a good, balanced challenge) but that's precisely why, when you finally do find a kid with a shmowder, you're fucking jumping up and down.

Attached: 1560539496130.jpg (2560x1440, 365K)

pretty much impossible not to hear the crying, just walk into an infected district and you can hear the little baloney loaves shrieking from miles away, it also marks the house on your map.

ps make some space in your inventory, we wouldn't want you to have any unfortunate accidents, would we?

yes its random, you'll hear the baby screaming and soon you'll get a map marker

>that's where she was planning on taking them
That's not what she says when you ask her, she does everything in her power to dodge the question. The most you get out of her is that she takes them to "good people."
If I recall correctly, she also says the town hall and the kids at the polyhedron are going to grind up the babbies into medicine. Nonsense obviously, but still.

Out of curiosity - can you fuck up handling the baby? Like, tell Anna you're gonna carry it to the Town Hall but then take it to your hideout and stuff it in a cupboard for the rest of the game?

Attached: 1561060592943.jpg (484x612, 40K)

i mean you can, dunno why would you want that though, you get cash, rep, and achievement when you deliver 2 babbys

anna did nothing wrong shes pure and innocent

I just wonder if the game punishes you for being a retard with it.

>anna did nothing wrong
Just fucking tell me where you take them, you wench.

i ate them

She takes them to Var

anna did several very major things wrong and is definitely not innocent but is still somehow kinda likeable
probably is pure though all things considered
>I don't want to see myself naked. What if I should find something on my skin?

When are we getting The Void 2: Void Harder, IPL?

Attached: 20190621011626_1.jpg (1600x900, 139K)

lies and fuckin' slander

Attached: 20190621015735_1.jpg (1600x900, 244K)

I don't think you guys appreciate the fact that we actually got P2 and it was a true remake in every sense of the word, I just realized how fucking insane it is that they actually delivered THIS HARD on a shoestring kickstarter budget and with the economic crisis hitting them.

Fucking love those dudes and girls.

Attached: 1560540500290.png (1074x893, 260K)

i do appreciate it, loved pathologic since the original, even with the butchered translation. Played HD classic in 2016 and finished it fully as well, if i was forced to pay for the two next characters to play them in patho 2 i'd do it

while I share your sentiment it's fucking incredible how well it turned out,
>implying
kickstarter backer to the tune of $160 here, my only regret is that I couldn't spare more at the time. I always had faith in IPL despite knowing their weak points and am pleased that my faith has not been misplaced.

here's hoping they can pull through and give us the other two routes. the lack of news or anything on that front worries me.

Attached: 1559302945256.jpg (766x1817, 193K)

I will say what I had said in other threads: the thing that fascinates me about this whole thing is that they did not just do Pathologic with a new coat of paint. They actually went back to the very drawing board, they went through their entire library of previous games, took lessons from every single one of them, and decided to fucking make something that - even despite many, many flaws - is qualitative and design-wise a fucking MASSIVE step up from Pathologic 1.
The fact that they completely overhauled the mechanics in a way that HUGELY improve the actual narrative of the game, and the fact that they succeeded in not betraying the original is just... you don't see this.

I can go on listing things that I did not like about Pathologic 2 but the truth is that it is a fucking. MARVEL.

And the game more or less still sold like shit and remains a cult classic only. Why bother caring about a medium that went mainstream?

>why care about the thing we care about
what are you talking about, I don't care that the game sold like shit, it's not a mass produced COD game that's made every year, of course it's not gonna sell well, what's important that IPL always had a vision, an amazing atmosphere and art direction in their games. Thats why they're worth supporting for

I care about IPL (as much as a fan can care about a studio and support it I guess) but I'm raising a point that it's fucking stupid to care about video games to a larger extent when people with true passion get shit on and the medium is infested with kids and commercialized to this degree. It didn't make me want to kill myself or fuck my day up or anything but when I've seen the approach that people had to the difficulty in 2, it was frankly fucking disgusting.

The level of entitlement, in a culture that also cries about entitlement on a daily basis I might add, is fucking staggering.

>find a girl with a shmowder
>roll around in anger instead because I just used all my nuts and chalks on another shmowder

>need just a couple more nuts for a shmowder
>go to a grocery store, buy some
>the girl already snorted the shmowder

Attached: pathologically disgusting.jpg (641x799, 117K)

>started a new playthrough to get achievements/do dialogues I missed the first time
>already fucked up by finishing all my quests on day 1 and missing the Rat Prophet dream
God damn it

Attached: 1553387319766.png (250x481, 127K)

What makes you think I don't appreciate it you little bitch?

you can just wait till 14:30 go take double nap at lara's place and talk to her afterwards.

Cause if you don't care then you don't get the one-in-a-thousand lightning strike that is games like this. The best you can hope for is that the public perception of the medium changes over time.

I agree we're in a bad place right now in terms of entitlement though. You can chalk it up to dozens of collaborating reasons - most of which boil down to "the kids aren't alright" - but I'm tempted to blame the stupefying availability of choice in terms of entertainment these days. There's less of a drive to put in the effort for any one single work when an uncountable number of others are all clamoring for your attention. Are they still lazy entitled shits? Of course. But the current media landscape enables the fuck out of those traits. Do I have a fix in mind? No idea.

But it's comforting to know there are indeed gold nuggets in the colossal ocean of shit that is video games and that I haven't been doing all this diving for nothing.

>changeling- I repeat, not clara but changeling - comes and says you'll kill patches if you give him a shmowder
>people treat him as fixed with regular pills despite it just lowering infection as well
so does giving him shmowders actually kill him?

I've already powered past it and near day 4 now, well stocked on everything so I'm not worried about it.

no

Light feet and heavy heart huh? It should be the other way around :)

Not like it matters, it's literally ''dont sleep much bro you'll miss stuff'' the protip-dream

Anything happen if you examine your father's corpse on day 2? I didn't take away the fabric since the other option implies the Kin might not be to happy with you doing it.

Yeah same, but I went all the way on my second playthrough and nothing bad happened
I dont even think a single dialogue changed too but you learn a bit more so it's ok to do so

you're supposed to check it, if you don't the quest marker lights up as failed

user what, he's talking about not even lifting the fabric and looking at it like that instead

check the fabric emshen right now!
