About to build a PC in order to play these games...

About to build a PC in order to play these games. I am sick of the lack of tactical shooter on consoles and also need to scratch my RTS itch.

Am I doing a mistake?

Also anything to keep in mind, building a PC in 2019?

Yeah research your build, do the work you want us to do for you

I dunno bro, get a 900 dollar prebuilt PC specs and built the PC with those specifications. Also you can get some homies to build your PC especially instaling a aftermarket CPU fan is easier with a few hands more.
Also cut COH2 that game is not so good.

Enjoy your PC exclusives

You can wait until 7/7 or fuck straight off.

Don't blow it.
Keep it simple.
Count your money.

yeah if you're into arma then throw insurgency and squad in the trash

Currently playing the first one. Is it better than the 2nd?

Go here, start with the CPU and work your way down. It automatically filters out parts that don't work with what you selected. Build for the most demanding game you want and plus some to future proof yourself.

If you are cheap, get a small SSD for your operating systems and the loading intensive games. I have switched to all SSD's and never looked back.

Whats happening on that date?

Thanks for the tip. Have heard about that site before. Will for sure use it for my build.

New amd processors and graphic cards

Dont do it, you will regret it

logicalincrements

>Played bf2 project reality and ARMA for about 12 years
>squad comes out and is everything PR dreamed of being
>could only get 10fps on my PC
I gave up ages ago

Nvidia 1660TI is the best mid tier card right now. 1080 is better, but costs more.
16 gb of ram is a MINIMUM for a comfortable high end pc gaming.
SSD is mandatory unless you want to sit through 2 mins loading screens.
Avoid intel processors released before 2019, they have shitton of security vulnerabilities.
ryzen 9 cpu series is a good deal

arma 3 dlc are pirateables?

Go to /pcbg/ on /g/.
Wait until the end of July to get a new PC. It's not actually a bad time to do so.
If you have the money to make a new PC, get the 2060 super and the 3600x if what you want is a solid mid tier PC that's fully up to date.
Otherwise you can look for bargains on older gen cards and CPUs for the metrics you're looking for.

yes. just make sure you have the correct mainframe for the hacking procedures.

I actually like COH2.
COH1 has better mods, but COH2 is an improvement gameplay wise.
