I just beat Megaman Battle Network 3, so let's have a Battle Network thread.
Does this game have a postgame after beating Alpha? It kinda irks me that the game resumes back on my last save instead of Lan's house, especially after that ending. Otherwise I think I'll start BN4.
Well I feel like you're lying about beating this for the first time, but yes 3 has a post game. It has the best postgame. Can't quite remember how you get to it though since its been so long.
Also OP there is post game, there's a secret area, there's the usual post game fight with Bass, you can fight Serenade as well.

>does this game have a postgame after beating alpha Are you serious? The postgame is almost as long as the main game. Now that you have your first star, the game TRULY begins. You have 6 more stars to go nigger, well I guess 5 actually because one of them will be impossible to get unless you cheat, but still. Go to the Yoka spa where that dude in the wheelchair took you to that mainframe with GigFreez, and jack in to it, and interact with the big ass bowl thing.

I'm not, I started playing BN after these threads began popping up daily and been playing them in order one after the other.

Nice, I was about to just drop it and start 4. It still bothers me that it doesn't feel like a postgame unless the game starts after the final boss, but whatever. Thanks.
>drop 3 and start 4 Imagine making the biggest mistake of your life.

I still don't understand why these games don't have a collection port with online multiplayer

No man there is TONS more to do. Now you can start virus breeding and getting hella tight megachips from the bugfrag trader in secret area. I recall BN3 having the best postgame. BN4 is fucking atrocious. IYou might find it pretty fun on the very first playthrough but it's all downhill after that. It's nowhere near as close to as good as BN3 or BN2. Play BN2 if you haven't yet. Skip 4 and 5 and go straight to 6. 4 and 5 suck balls.

Speaking of, I saw that Legacy Bundle lately. Which version of MM8 and MMX3 does it have? And is there anything from Wily Wars in it?

I already played BN2, I actually found it incredibly tedious and frustrating but I still went all the way to PharaohMan but dropped it after that. BN3 was a massive improvement and I enjoyed it throughouly, that's why I'm asking.
Dylan Allen
BN3 has probably the most extensive postgame of the series
Jeremiah Williams
Ignore this faggot. 5 is good, 4 is mediocre but still worth a single playthrough.
Juan Evans
5 is good if you don't like battle network games
Joshua Lee
I started playing 5 and got a little ways in but dropped it out of sheer burnout from marathoning all four previous games
But damn, from the little I played, I sure was appreciating having some other form of gameplay besides standard netbattling for a change. I feel like both BN and SF were a bit lacking in that regard, they have almost no minigames or anything outside of one and done dungeon gimmicks and so it just gets monotonous after awhile
Aaron Hernandez
Is this the BN thread?
I just finished 1, but I've yet to beat the postgame, or whatever it has for postgame. Should I tackle it or jump to BN2?
Also, HOW THE HELL DO YOU GET DROPDOWN B, IT'S IMPOSSIBLE
Michael Gonzalez
You clearly don't if you think half the series isn't worth playing.
Blake White
>love this franchise to death >even have the artbook >haven't played 1 One day. I can't really get into the spin offs either except for the one on the GC
Another question, how do I unlock the blocks that ask for Navi keys? I already have several Navi chips but they do nothing, or do I also need to get V2 ones?
