I joined Corgi but never got the games yet

So I actually have to play games to use the boost?

If that team gets third place every day. But they won't.
Corgi is the only team that will consistently place in a winning position every day. The others are always a dice roll if they have a chance at games.

3rd and 2nd have the same amount of users, but second has twice the prizes

winners are randomly picked from the top 3 teams, so no matter you don't you have next to no chance at actually getting anything. it's shit

Corgis have about 8-10x more points than the second place, it only makes sense they have 8-10x more people. Whales average out when we are talking about the entire steam population

basically you can redeem a badge and increase its level by 1 for every 100 token spent. needless to say the whales jumped on the occasion and the formerly highest level of steam ("st4ck" with ~4.5k) got literally beaten by dudes with 23k levels

For every 50 steam levels you are guaranteed one boosterpack for every game that supports trading cards and it stacks.
So people spend thousands on steam level to get more and more boosterpacks from shit games bought for pennies so they can make up some cash while trading.
Valve fucked them over before with .49 cent minimum and you cannot put gifts in inventories anymore.

I honestly believe that this is one of the worst events of all. Very poorly executed, lots of issues and the rules don't explain the game very well. There is no place where Valve explicitly explains that the Boost Capacity's allowance you had yesterday won't carry to the next day and I believe this is a huge fuck up. I have read both the "Driver's manual" and the actual rules where they explain a bunch of legal crap and still I have to find a bit of word where this is explained.
