I'm unsure if some other user pointed this out already, but it's been bothering me recently. I would imagine that he fought for his life and struggled before dying. I understand that he was feeling suicidal and that he went so far as to jump off a bridge. But what about the time interval from the fall to his death? Obviously there was a certain time leading up to his death that HE HAD NO CONTROL OVER. He can't control his fall, and he couldn't prevent himself from drowning if he lacked the ability to swim.
Essentially, I believe that he regretted his decision to jump off the bridge. This realization must've came to him during his fall, if not then it SHOULD HAVE definitely came to him while he was drowning. Humans naturally try to keep themselves alive. There isn't a person in the world who could ignore their primitive instincts to survive. Due to not knowing how to swim, as many people do not have this skill, he most likely maneuvered his arms, legs and body around and screamed aloud for help.
What do you guys think? Was there an instance in which Etika regretted going through with his suicide?

There are two types of suicides: one where the person plans out how and when for many weeks, months, or even years. This is called long-term suicidal ideation. The second type of suicide is one that is a spur of the moment decision. I think Etika was a planner, or maybe had an unthought out plan prior to saying "fuck it, today's the day." Who knows if he regretted it in his final moments? If it was a spur-of-the-moment decision: yes most likely. But if it was planned, I'd imagine he had rehearsed internally what it would be like to die, and was somewhat ready. But then again, who on earth is ready to die? Not a lot of people.
