Honestly I can't recommend anything at this point
>Portal 1 & 2
>Bayonetta
>Skullgirls
>Benbo Quest
Which should I play first?
DO I BUY THRONEBREAKER
HOW ARE THE RPG ELEMENTS
yes I've read the books
honestly why are these threads so dead and not comfy? where are the cute anime girls? where are the cute games?
>planescape torment enhanced for free from the race discount
What should I get if I want kino vidya moments and experiences?
Portal 1&2, they are pretty short.
Thronebreaker is good. It starts off pretty fun, but by the 2nd chapter you are just playing it for the story as every round is piss easy.
pls r8, m8
any opinions on these before I pull the trigger?
Portal if you somehow have actually never played it before
summer sale is shit, going to epic games now. gaben is a fat turd that is getting greedier the more money he gets.
is furi a good game?
Any recommendations for character customization beyond Dragon's Dogma?
imagine giving valve money
About to pick this up...is it good? Worth it for $10?
About to get mankind divided after I finish human revolution. Good cheap prices.
No
>Thronebreaker is good. It starts off pretty fun, but by the 2nd chapter you are just playing it for the story as every round is piss easy.
Do the choices actually make a difference? Replay warranting ones?
OMG SHIT GAMES ARE CHEAPER NOW?
Prepare to be disappointed
>want to buy sekiro
>havent beaten ds2
>havent beaten demon souls yet
>havent 100%d ds3
>bloodborne isn't on pc yet
HELP
"Epic" post my fellow zoomer
Yes, are you going to shoot them with a P90 or Uzi held sideways.
Make sure you do the sidequests, they're where the meat is
Choices can make you lose a couple of side characters that show up every chapter but none of them are really that relevant to the actual plot, so no.
This game any good? Been wondering about it. I loved XCOM, and this kinda looks similar to it + mechs.
I NEED A MULTIPLAYER GAME TILL HALO IS RELEASED
Choices "matter".
I killed some monster somewhere, and one of my party members cards left, which was annoying.
Rust as a gift is the only thing I bought
Not to shill but if it matters to you it's currently included on the humble bundle monthly for 12 bucks. Along with other games
Recommend a good RPG that's in the sale boys
so many good games on sale this summer
>sekiro 20% down
phew, I only lost a few bucks
>Sundered
>FF13
user no
I feel like a complete retard. How do I get the tokens to get the $5 discount?
Mankind Divided is super underrated imo. The game is solid, it just cuts out too soon, leaving many dangling plot threads. They keep saying Deus Ex isn't dead, but it feels too late for a straight sequel now. Probably get another fucking reboot in a few years time. Just take your time with the game, explore everywhere, engage with all the optional side content.
Dragons Dogma
Fallout 1 and 2
Dark souls 1 (super cheap rn)
If it makes you feel any better I enjoyed invisible war
You got it coach
Mediocre gameplay with a great story, characters VA and soundtrack.
As a witcher fan, you owe it to yourself to play it if only because it has one of the best moments from the books and it's made so much better because the stakes are so high this time around.
Meve is a great character.
Hunt Showdown
>botherland wholesome collection only 3 bucks
jesus
not worth the free space on my hd
>narrator literally just saying "overconfidence is a slow and insidious killer"
what did they mean by this
I need a bro shooter, pls help
Is Sundered shit?
I played XIII and XIII-2 so felt curious about the end of the trilogy.
RECOMMEND AN RPG
thoughts about this?
>supporting R*ndy P*tchford
>supporting Ebin Gaems
I only played one of those games, divinity 2 is an amazing rpg to play solo or with friends online. The online with coop is too much fun, super immersive. Also a lot of workshop support to make a lot of little Qol changes if something doesn't touch your fancy.
STOP
recommend some good lesser known/obscure games with banger soundtracks
Sundered literally just spawns a gorillion of the same enemies in every room (which are all random) and you button-mash your way through them.
okay, A House of Many Doors
Cheers, I'll give Fallout a go
Go to a key site and you'll pay half the price you're paying now
I don't want anything. It feels good.
>buying Fallout 4 for 50 fucking Eurodollars
why
The Quiet Man is a mess (so i've been told). I do strongly recommend Divinity though
Yea Forums what are some open ended exploration games similar in philosophy to System Shock I&II, Thief I&II, Arx Fatalis, Dark Messiah, Prey, Dishonored I&II, and Deus Ex? Are their any games in other genres that require creative thinking? Maybe Legend of Grimrock, idk
Anyone?
Ah ok, I'll swap it for your recommendation. Thanks, user.
stop what user?
Black Desert
probably not even obscure anymore but LISA has a great soundtrack

>all the good Square Enix games aren't on sale
Welp, same as then. Not buying anyth-
>Stronghold Crusader HD for 2 bucks
I'll take it.
Is Arma III alone worth it?
DMC 5 is pretty fun, Sekiro is pretty fun but it's "hardness" is WAY overstated, its a fucking stealth game and normies are playing it like a souls game lmao.
rage isn't worth that price, wait for it to go down more.
Practically all of those purchases.
they cant keep getting away with it
are you female?
Thoughts on Kingdom Come: Deliverance?
When do you think it'll go down lower?
rate games here fellas
bretty gud if you don't mind slower games
So the participating games on the page don't cycle and you can only do a certain amount of achievements for the race?
Remember games like Assault Suit Valken/Cybernator and Metal Warriors? Well they're back in VIDEO GAME FORM ONCE AGAIN.
store.steampowered.com
(attached pic is from Metal Warriors and not HARDCORE_MECHA)
Any games for a sad/nostalgic experience with decent story, gameplay and soundtrack?
Think mass effect 1, made in abyss, clannad, blade runner 2049 etc if you understand what I'm gettting at.
Is the Little Witch Academia game trash?
Which one should I get?
>dusk
>FFIX
>FFVI
>Silver Case
>Observer
>New Vegas
>Something else on the same price range
I recommend Ruiner for anyone who liked Hotline Miami, Ys If you're looking for a RPG and Fran Bow if you want some casual fun
Fable is amazing
New Vegas
Well, I'm slow myself!
get New Vegas if you're prepared for all the modding autism to make it run perfectly, it's a fucking nightmare even with guides
I've played CotM, The Messenger, Katana ZERO and Baba, and I would recommend them all. Can't tell you about the others.
New Vegas has shitton of gameplay and an incredible modding scene, best bang for your buck i think.
runs like absolute ass, why the fuck do devs make shit unity?
Check out Worlds by Curious Planet. It's a mix between MGS and Deus Ex with puzzles and horror elements. Solid game with a nice atmosphere and an intriguing story.
Benbo is the shortest, it'll take you like an hour at longest.
I'm personally looking for something like Fantasy Life or the Runefactory series. The combat and crafting aspects of those are really important to me.
Alternatively, something with good replay value that isn't a sandbox where the player is just alone. I want party members and NPCs to react to things.
What are some good games that are not valve games and are under a dollar?
is siege of dragonspear as shit as some claim?
is nwn 1 and or 2 worth playing?
i am old, but never played any of these. im about to pick up baldurs gate 1 and 2 and planescape torment for sure but i wanted to check on the others
also fuck bundles coming with a ton of soundtracks instead of actual games
to the moon
The archive has like 20 steam sale threads reaching bump limit and there are threads just for the racing thing. This is too much.
apart from that it's a pretty shit game my man
Got any game recommendations that me and my friends can buy?
Should I buy Rocket League while it's on sale before it gets delisted on Steam and put up on Epic Store?
Stardew Valley is pretty decent
fallout 4 is £10 here in the uk
why is it 50 euro's?
>nice story
>tight combat
>kino moments
>awkward walking between bosses
I'd say go for it with the dlc
How's
>Two Point Hospital
>Civ VI
>Forager
>Ace Combat 7
?
Hexcells is a great puzzle game
There are videos on the product page demonstrating the mechanics of the puzzles
I have an embarrassing amount of hours in Hexcells Infinite
The complete pack of Hexcells, Hexcells Plus, and Hexcells Infinit is 70% off
store.steampowered.com
My time at Portia could be something for you
I bought Starbound, not another cent.
Stardew Valley but My Time at Portia might actually be a better fit. I would give them both a look.
>is siege of dragonspear as shit as some claim?
yes
>is nwn 1 and or 2 worth playing?
nwn 1 itself isn't great, expansions are solid tho. same with nwn 2, base game is playable but nothing to write home about, Mask of the Betrayer is fucking glorious tho, best game of the series
If you enjoy combat in BG series, get Icewind Dale too
should I?
>>Civ VI
base games ok. if you get it get the expansions goes from ok to pretty great
It's bait to make you check for Valkyre Profile HD, which doesn't exist
just gonna say silver case if you want kino shit.
Arma requires a certain level of orginization to be fun. Play in a group or a unit and it's amazing. If not. It's mediocre.
pirate it then, idgaf
Dunno/duncare about the quests, but you can get thousands of points just by booting up your old games that have existing steam achievements for like 30 mins. The problem is that you're stuck with 100 capacity/day and you need capacity to convert those points into tokens.
but its shopped damnnit
thoughts on my cat?
Rate
>inb4 Todd
never played the DLCs nor of Skyrim nor Fallout 4
no, I did not set region to Argentina for cheaper prices

thank you, user
should i grab them all now, or do they go on sale often? it will probably take me a while to finish bg 1 and 2, id rather save a few shekels for other stuff if i can
splitgate is basically halo and it is free
how the fuck do you increase capacity then
Amid Evil
yes or no?
btw arround 27 bucks in total
From The Depths is 60% off
It has been in Early Access for almost 5 years now -- it was made available August 4th, 2014
It's a ship building game with some pretty neat ballistic physics and an ungodly ugly interface.
alright thanks mate
I had fun with it, haven't done the extra stage yet. It's pretty short though.
And the music of the final phase of the final boss is the true kino.
SKyrim is decent but F4 is just plain shit, wouldn't recommend not-Todd.
spend more money goyim
>he whiteknights a fucking corporation
Embarassing.
I see Skyrim VR but I don't see the regular copy of Skyrim, you can't have it too often user
thank you for your patronage to paradox studios!
baba has been out for over a month and still no one has beaten it
i already have regular skyrim
>purchase made with a discount coupon got auto-refunded because of a server error
>lost my coupon, getting only the amount of money I paid from my wallet
>sent a ticket to sent and received an automated response that had nothing to do with this problem
I'm done with this shit
Transistor
why not consider purchasing additional copies for your friends?
Any Supergiant game fits the bill really
>the quiet man
>vampyr
>strange brigade
>rage 2
All suck colossal dick. Save yourself some money, user.
From what i understand
>Capacity = buy shit or wait 1 day for freebie 100
>Points = do quests or "bank" your previous achievements using above method
>Tokens/Boost = Capacity + Points.
>5$ coupon = 15k Tokens.
>buy new shiny games
>go back to playing modded Oblivion and AoE 1 anyway
>Dude Sex for that price
Objectively yes.
>ToV -50%
Personally: yes.
>Lobotomy
No idea, but there are always threads about it. Have Yea Forums ever been wrong?
Ace Combat 7 is glorious, CIV VI is really good with the expansions.
Men of War Assault Squad 2 is 80% off
It's more Men of War, as you would expect
A very detailed real time tactics game
Get the all bodies stay mod on the Workshop so you can marvel at the trail of destruction
It's worth getting the "Gold" edition as I recall some of the mods and missions on the Workshop require one of the expansions
store.steampowered.com
Should i buy Hunt down the Freeman ? It's like 1 yurobuck now.
Didnt spend much this sale.
I honestly don't care about you guy's opinions, can you just give me the (YOU)'s instead?
I SAID you can't have it too often my dear user, buy it again, NOW
>beat cop
it's a fun game, enjoy user
rising storm vietnam
Pathfinder Kingmaker is the best CRPG in a decade and on heavy sale, get it.
I'm looking for good games that are under $10
why didn't you buy witcher 3 goty
What a shitty fucking event. Didn't you just have to make a purchase over $30 to get $5 coupon on lunar sale? And now, you have to spend like over $100 to get it
This would honestly be one of the best games if it had more replayability, it's a 10/10 shmup where you explore derelict ship, trying to salvage shit while disabling their entire defense system, you have a shit-ton of tools and you can set up your ship however you want.
If you're a shmup pro like myself, it shouldn't take more than 10 hours to see everything it has to offer.
>Alternatively, something with good replay value that isn't a sandbox where the player is just alone. I want party members and NPCs to react to things.
Can a get a game with this? I want the game to react to my fuckery.
Cynthia bet girl btw
mankind divided frustrates me because instead of using human reolution as a starting point to further develop the storyline, they ditch continuity to fit an extremely weird racism metaphor which doesnt really work
the graphics, side quests, gameplay are amazing, but I really dont know how many people play deus ex because of the gameplay, for me it's the story that makes it so good usually
Blood Bowl is $5.
With CreamAPI, you can pirate all the DLC.
Join the Yea Forums league.
virginleague.neocities.org
Is ace combat 7 playable with m+kb?
also do I need to play other installments to enjoy it? I just want to shoot shit down with old soviet aircraft
Trails in the sky 1 2 and 3. Pretty comfy JRPGS and each takes like 60 hours to beat
I spent $31 and was able to get enough coins for it.
Also JERMA voices a character in it so its a win-win basically
I only spent $40 and still got it, your starting point capacity is based on some mysterious account parameters
>it's down again
gaben-sama ...
it's a great game if you dont mind the eastern european jank which plagues stalker, witcher 1&2, some croteam games etc
Planescape Torment
Star Wars: Empire at War
I Am Setsuna
all Supreme Commander games
all Legacy of Kain games available on steam
why the FUCK can't I connect to steam online!?
Never played these games. About to marathon this shit. What am I in for?
Is the game still handing out that free tf2 hat?
I still got it years ago when I first bought it.
Not being able to replay the game without losing everything and also some of the gadgets having limited uses even across missions is retarded and killed any enjoyment that can be had of this game after the 2 hours it takes to beat
I NEED online multiplayer games. Give me some obscure really good shit to play with my boyfriend
we're fags
>What am I in for?
A waste of your fucking time.
>South Park 90% off
>all that cancerous drm
Is it worth it?
Is the original Witcher good?
First two games are atmospheric as fuck, with probably my favorite OST from any game, still love them. Don't skimp out on agility and intelligence faggot New Vegas is great too, 3 is solid, 4 is fucking shit however.
Bowsette user is that you?
botherland wholesome edition
Get Killing Floor 2, fag. It's cheap and fun for at least few days while you're running trough all the maps.
First two games are nothing like the last. Play newvegas after 3.
Shame I haven't found anything that's caught my attention yet.
You're in for a great time. Wish I could replay them for the first time all over again. 1INT is the canon playthrough.

You're in for no hand holding and several levels of gitting gud.
Glad im not the only one. Thought id fucked something up as id been moving things between hard drives.
It's better than both sequels in setting, story and atmosphere departments. Combat is pretty janky tho.
Got Enter the Gungeon and Underrail. Super comfy times ahead, thanks anons for the help.
>fallout 1 - really good post-apoc rpg
>fallout 2 - fallout 1 but bigger and wackier
>fallout 3 - shit linear story but nice to explore
>fallout nv - true sequel to fallout 1 & 2
>fallout 4 - shit
Stick of Truth is a love letter to South Park's past. The other game is all about the new shit and is nowhere near as good.
>finally commit to buying some games
>steam stuck at processing my order (working) like in every sale
>purchase now pending even tough I paid
GET YOUR SHIT TOGETHER GABE
Lobotomy Corporation is great
Brawl-em-Up Bundle is good, outside of the most expensive of the bunch being the weakest.
>Fallout 4
You dun fucked up
It's pretty good if you can ignore the jank, obviously not as quality as the other 2 games but the atmosphere and immersion are intact.
Grid 2 was free a few weeks ago
I only buy games I can replay forever, like shmups, roguelikes or fighting games. Crimzon Clover and Crypt opf the Necrodancer are on my list already, anything else?
Anno 1404 is a top comfy city builder
in some ways it's my favourite, great atmosphere and story, but its very easteurojanky and you have to get through that, also dont be afriad to use the wiki
Collect crow guts, UV scan semen stains, and crack skulls in Condemned: Criminal Origins. The finest hobo bashing and junkie smashing simulator ever made.
The gameplay is a bit weird and there's a lot of running back and forth to complete quests but otherwise yes, it's a pretty okay game.
Which one, Stick of Truth is great and butthole ecksdee is fucking awful
Have you ever comboed a hobo to death while another hobo was beating the shit out of him? It's fucking hilarious every time, I love infighting so fucking much. god bless you, monolith
>Steam is down
This is why I switched to OnLive.
banner saga- worth playing?
No joke, I actually prefer the 1st game to the two sequels but maybe it's because I grew up playing shit like Gothic. The worst of the three is definitely W2, awful combat and weird graphics where everything is seeped in oil.
NOW IT CRASHED AND I CAN'T EVEN LOG IN ANYMORE
Eh, theres some really annoying mechanics in it. If you like the idea of a shit ton of mechanics that favor whoever is losing then sure
Good job breaking steam for the rest of us
Do I miss out on anything in Dead Cells by not having the daily challenge? The wiki says there are rewards but do they really matter? It's kinda expensive for a pixel game.
This might be fixed by now but certain parts of Fallout 2 are kinda fucked due to issues on running on modern CPU's, or at least they were when I played last like 3 - 4 years ago.
I did not care for INFRA at all. Maybe I need to give it another shot. And I found Heat Signature really disappointing, but I'll fully admit that was only because it wasn't Gunpoint 2.
>cant even get excited about games anymore
I guess I'll just renew my wow subscription
RIP steam
Iroha Kongo
Bonecraft looks rad.
Might get pact with a witch
I think it's just a couple item unlocks you get for doing x amount of them
>SPAGHET

I heard Fallout 1 has some censorship on steam, is it anything important?
Very average, runs not that well.
It affects only the ability to kill kids iirc, and you can patch it back in wtih Killap's patch or something.
thoughts?
They're all different and good but that made it a tradition to hate the newest one as much as chris chan hates sonics blue arms. The fans are full on autistic though so make your own opinion unless you're the sort who wants to own the softcover collection of MLP Fallout fanfiction.
>sorry we couldn't add your item
Sounds like I'm not going to miss it. Should have discounted harder, boys.
Can you all please stop refreshing and using Steam, so I can finally finish my purchase??!!
Thank you.
>been buying new games for a few months now
>go back to playing modded GTAV
I bought Black Mesa since Xen is coming out "soon." Played it way back when it was just a free mod.
Buy Underrail instead of wasteland and atom rpg. Im loving it wayyy more than those other two. Its a lot more Fallout 1 than those games that are a bit more shallow.
What kind of mods are there for GTAV?
I'm sorry user, but that title didn't meet Steams minimum purchase amount of 99.99 to get sale prices.
Which one Yea Forums?
LET ME ADD SHIT GABE YOU FAT FUCK AAAHHHHHH
Both.
Buy muse Dash, 2.99 and it's great
store.steampowered.com
bugged shit
>Everything decent on sale for a good price I already have
>Everything I want is either not on sale or not even 30% off
>Very I actually want either way
This sale sucks. I miss flash sales and half-off series packs.
Shit ton though I mostly like mods that mess with the world. The trainer I use has stuff that could be different mods themselves but they add them into the trainer.
>tfw want to play Fallout 4 since it looks amazing and mods make it even more amazing
>stuck on this FO3 slow ass ammo running out of game
I should just cheat and guide then do the same with NV.
looking for Horror Games!!!
I've played
>Outlast 1 & 2 + Whistleblower
>Bioshit 1, 2, Infinite + DLC
>Fran Bow
>The Forest
>SOMA
thanks!!!
I'm super bias towards Space Rangers, because of 2 things. SR1 is my childhood/teenager game and I'm Russian. Text quests are actually very enjoyable in Russian, don't know how good is the English translation.
And compared to System Shock I think that Space Rangers 2 aged WAY better.
I really liked Divinity Original Sin 2. Also been having a good time replaying the original Baldur's Gates, and they're pretty cheap right now.
SS1's got my vote, it's one of my favorite games of all time. The exploration and lack of hand holding is top notch.
wonder if Kingdom Come Deliverance is worth the DLC I remember it looking very interesting on release and with the bugs and performance ironed out it seems like a great game but I'm really not sure if the DLC is worth almost paying double the price of the base game
Space Rangers is literally every game in one game so obviously it's the best value here
Alien: Isolation
Hey Linux Gamers I know you are out there, share your recommendations from the sale (native or proton) for your fellow Linux bros.
I have to warn you: you are supposed to play Portal 2 coop with your girlfriend, not your bros.
okay Yea Forums whoever posts the strangest picture gets a free game >10$
be sure to include your steamid
What should I buy my girlfriend?
??
who the hell says undertale is a horror game
Underrail, also expancion for it coming SOON.
just check out the games on the list don't read into it too much
>tfw you already own all the good games on steam
whats the point of these sales? To spend money on junk?
a black bull
nah, i'm too fucking lazy
No meme answers.
Is Ghost Recon: Wild Lands playable a single player game, and is it worth playing?
whats a good RTS for someone who hates the genre? I want to like it, but i can never get into it.
She doesn't know how to ride bulls though
Guys whats the name of that one game that has been a lot of time in the making and it's like mount and blade ( I think ) and you can do whatever you want literally?
I think it's from top down and graphics aren't all that great
>doesn't own terraria
It's bait user.
Sale is shit, just like they've been for years.
>Sekiro $47.99
Wow the same fucking price I could have gotten it for on release several months ago.
1 > 3 > 2
any tower defense game
i would but id prolly get a ban
Should I get Sekiro?
PROS
>Played every Souls game to end multiple times + did PvP
>I've heard the playstyle is a lot like my favorite build (dex + a few pyromancies)
CONS
>My Xbox controller stopped working so that's gonna probably be a $50 tip on top to make the game playable on PC
darkwood is wirth it dont know about the rest
go for it
get it for 2$ more in humble with senuas hellblade if you are into senua too.+++some random games
katana zero and europa universallis iv worth it .plz no sundered way too buggy and repetitive

nice try Tod
Kenshi?
do not buy sundered, it's not worth it at any price.
kbd works fine speedrunners prefer it actually
What games to get if I want to have the feels. Something with a great story and preferably an RPG
steamcommunity.com
Worth a shot
Sekiro sucks
the dating game, fuck off faggot
You should really kill yourself for mass replying but that is a pretty based list desu
See
Who TF actually considers DOOM 1-3 to be horror?
summer schizo posting is back
The worst mistake you can make this Steam Sale (summer 2019) is ___________
?
If you buy FighterZ you're supporting bad DLC practices.
RPGCodex posters who like this sort of games say it's decent to kinda good. Also this vid goes into detail on the game.
Is this good??
store.steampowered.com
ok
WHY IS ALIEN ISOLATION NOT ON SALE AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
ok boys what do I cut, if anything? I know most of them are good (don't know much about underrail or atom though.) Bit shit how expensive VtMB too.
i need some games where i feel like a super hero. dont give me chroma squad already played it
Anyone played any of these? How were they?
>Trying to cull games I'm interested in so I'm below a certain amount in my cart
>Look at Chronicles of Mystara
>Realize I have only one friend that I know has Steam, and he wouldn't buy it for himself
Well I guess that's $5 I'm saving.
icey is fun
supporting any developer/publisher that has signed an exclusive deal with the epic store for any of their future games
only reason didn't buy it till now but the price kinda baited me
>Baba is You
how smart are you, user?
REDOUT
REDOUT
most importantly, REDOUT
cut off the tip of your penis like most of the civilized world
also, cut star wars, stop giving disney money
why is vtmb so expensive? I thought about getting it for like 5eur
probably because there's a sequel coming out soon
just pirate it. the dev arent seeing a cent of the profit anymore
STEAM’S DOWN AAAAAAAAAAAA
Buy yourself something nice
Recommend me some good open world that isn't famous.
Playing DQ11 right now. Is there any indie RPGs that can match it? I'm just loving how everything feels so simple yet it works.
>Cave Story+
>Black Mesa
>N++
>Distance
>Marble it Up
>Spelunky
Rate my quality purchases, entrepreneurs of video games.
Recommend me some lesser known pixelshit
discord tranny core your taste is garbage
Someone recommend me a good raising sim game ala Princess Maker & Long Live the Queen.
chrono trigger, even though you can emulate it
maybe play the other DQ games faggot
I picked up Shantae and the pirate's curse and half genie hero for 40-50% off each, I'm having a blast so far. I highly recommend it to other anons.
Also, the amount of bouncing boobies and innuendos make it very difficult to play without a boner.
Alien: Isolation is peak horror.
Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth is janky as shit but full of SOUL, half absolute masterpiece moments, half shitty shooter.
Dusk isn't really horror but has pretty unsettling atmosphere.
Amnesia, Soma's predecessor: less story, less veriety but more spooks and a bit more gameplay. Amnesia 2 is just shitty walking simulator.
Doom 3 (NOT BFG EDITION) is mostly a fun shooter, but it has has some spooks (especially in the beginning) and amazing atmosphere thanks to the absolute kino lighting.
Also, not sale-related, but Dead Space 1&2 are amazing games, decent balance of action and horror. Since it's published by EA and dev team is closed buying them would be beyond retarded. Just pirate.
Why are you calling me a faggot? ;-;
I played 5, 9 and a bit of 4.
I might try 8 but I wanna beat Yakuza 0 first.
tfw buy Black Mesa on sale, finish game and refund once it leaves early access
Skyrim
Shovel Knight
Okay. What do you recommend then?
Give me some good shit that's not a PC port.
>Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth is janky as shit but full of SOUL, half absolute masterpiece moments, half shitty shooter.
True, there are brilliant moments in this game and then some parts are just generic. I feel like 6 more months of developing and a better budget would had made this much better.
I would rec it.
boards.fireden.net
jesus christ you autistic faggot
this is a strange picture indeed
holy sihit jahahaha
Is fallout 4 worth it?
is SQUAD worth it bros? I'm mainly looking for multiplayer games so if I don't get this I might get gangbeasts or GTAV
Any game that I can make a shit ton of choices and they matter?
KCD is a great time if you enjoy slow burn type of games, didn't get the dlc's but I heard that although nice they were a bit much for the amount of content. I suppose they're a better deal now that they're bundled up together.
Crusader Kings 2.
flinthook
vagante
sonic mania
risk of rain
messenger
dead cells
crypt of the necrodancer
Never played a Monster Hunter before, should I get the last one?
No love for Elex? Pretty good game for anyone looking for something similar to the Gothic and Risen (1) games. Currently 20 bucks right now.
Steve Jackson's Sorcery!
i want to play this but i'm worried it'll be too spooky
Sadly I don’t have anything in my cart this year. However I can recommend Under rail as a descent Isometric rpg. It’s currently under $10 and has a lot of content (500h a play through). Just as a heads up though, it isnt designed like a modern rpg. The game can be rather unforgiving and too many mistakes can ruin an entire play through.
Looking for something a bit more story heavy. I've already played sorcery.
is worth it then? people talk shit about gameplay
Based
>Add KCD Royal Edition
>it doesnt automatically remove base KCD because it's already in my library
>tries to make me pay for it a second time
the FUCK is this kikery.
Explain yourselves, WarWhores
emulate 4U on citra, it has an active and easy to access online community with lobby searching directly through the emulator
Factorio, Frostpunk.
>tfw you missed a hat in time in the humble monthly
Damn, this is the ONLY time I've ever seen anyone lese but myself shill Worlds.
It's a damned shame. This game is a real "hidden gem".
>looking at games on sale
>genuinely unsure of what to get, if anything
Yeah, need help anons.
My most played games are TF2, Civ V, Dead by Daylight, Dark Souls 1, Darkest Dungeon, Fallout NV, Fallout 3.
Have all Fallout games already, have Civ IV (don't like it), have all Dark Souls games, have 7 days to die, Ass Creed 2 (meh), Bioshock (alright), Dishonored (alright), Skyrim (bad), Far Cry 2+3 (good), GTA V (like) GTA SA (couldn't get into), Mass Effect 1&2 (meh), Portal 1&2 (good of course), RE4 (like), Witcher 1&2 (don't like, pls no bully for this).
Other games are free or indie (which I can list).
Recommendations?
I agree with these incredibly handsome gentlemen, and don't forget the Alexa edition!
And if you enjoy Skyrim, you should also get Fallout 4, or perhaps revisit Fallout 3.
Fallout 76 is getting an expansion at... some point, better buy that and catch up to all your friends so you can play together when it EVEN BETTER than it is now!
Lone Survivor for something similar to Silent Hill in 2D but it's not on sale, still only 15 bucks though.
Is Starbound worth buying right now?
Why haven't you already played it? What the hell, user?
I love Piranhasoul but Elex' art direction is such an absolute clusterfuck, it looks like Garry's Mod spinoff.
Never.
Yakuza 0
is the monter hunter DLC literally just gestures and hair styles? That's it?
VtmB and Deus Ex then but you probably played them already.
It's janky which is expected from a Eastern Euro developer but everything else is good, if you enjoyed the Gothic games and Risen 1, I recommend it.
The sale is such a confusing and buggy mess. But some good deals nonetheless.
Recommending Tooth and Tail beacuse it's only 3$ right now and it's a fun title with RTS elements
store.steampowered.com
Anyone with shmup recommendations?
It has the issue where the difficulty is interesting in the beginning (where you really have to pick and choose your battles) but by midgame, everything's a pushover and the combat or endgame enemies doesn't get any more interesting. Hope they fix that in Elex 2.
i would tell you but you're a faggot that says kino so you dont deserve it
>contrarian opinions
>amazing resolution
>ifunny watermark
>half these games are just regular shooters or rpgs with no horror elements
Yeah, I'm thinking this is bait.
Did they bring back daily deals yet?
Off of my throne, jester. The king sits there
>tfw loved Gothic 1, 2 and even 3 but hated Risen 1
Yeah...
Was hoping something in the indie scene would pop up.
I'd love to play Fallout 3 Todd! But I can't justify the purchase when the game never goes on sale below 50%
>daily deals
you mean flash sales?
Pretty sure they relisted KC:D as the royal edition. This means that steam recognizes it as a different game entirely. If you ask Warhorse about it they might be willing to change it.
Damn it, I don't know what to get. All I got is 40 dollars.
I want a game with a lot of replay value but not one of those stupid ass games where it's like "no you're suppose to lose a million times :)"
If you enjoyed FC5 then New Dawn is pretty good out of the box. If you liked FC3/4 it won't become good until you unlock the last level of the skill tree by progressing far enough into the story.
>Bioshock (alright), Dishonored (alright)
Try Prey
Do you like 2D? Hollow Knight is good.
If you like DS, Sekiro should be on your radar too, But the sale isn't very significant on it. I have recently played The Surge and was very surprised at how good it was for a Souls inspired clone
>Total War: Warhammer 2 + all available DLC
Not a bad price tbqh. Would buy if I wasn't playing 3K
They'll never return. They were scrapped because of the refund system- everyone who already bought a game earlier in the sale would mass refund and tank the servers just to rebuy at flash sale price. It's kinda fucked up.
Any recs?
Did Valve roll back the exploit level ups?
>hating on Sleeping Dogs
I guess you've never eaten a pork bun cause you'er obviously not a whole man.
Good multiplayer/co-op games where you work together instead of killing each other?
i was to pleb for the janky combat and uninstalled my crack
No, it recognizes that I have it. Still tries to make me pay for it again, though
Nobody else had this issue?
steam tag: "co-op"
RE5/6, Way Out for story modes
L4D type gameplay: Killing Floor 2, Vermintide 2
>alien: isolation
isn't on sale because creative assembly are faggot ass jews who only want you to buy total war games and all their dlc
Zoomers need to leave.
Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara
As a bonus, it's one of those "Buy 4 copies for the price of 3 deal" type games because it is built for co-op, and it stacks with the current sale.
Is Transistor good?
Gods Will Be Watching
>Total War: Warhammer 2 + pirated DLC
Any good MP games? I have hundred of hours in KF2 and dead by daylight
I want to shill a game: van helsing. The devs are really desperate, so you can buy the whole trilogy in one "remastered" game for whole 5€. Its basically better diablo 3 or worse grim dawn. It has specific settings where you are vampire hunter in that weird era between sword and full blown guns and it has quirky humor.
Grab it. Also snake pass is unique fun none of you played.
Visual novels :-)
Did you like previous fallout? They are all kinda the same.
Shame its always so expensive.
Spelunky is dark souls of platformers. You gonna go mad.
Fable
Buy only ONE stalker. The one with good ratings. Cut hedon and thief gold.
All my weeb friends play it. I think its meh. Are you weeb?
Spending money just to earn tokens.
Trails in the sky 1st and 2nd chapter. 3rd is bullshit filler. Talos principle for different feels.
Real pc players play dark souls on keyboard anyway.
Is this a joke post? Is this what you consider "all good games"? Try out latest street fighter, it has free trial.
Almost everything runs in wine. So ask better questions.
Yes. Unless you hate denuovo cancer.
You gotta be careful with the shopping cart bro.
Darkriders, ftl, slay the spire
Its very weird game user, get something else
Street fighter 5, free trial, so much replayability you will go crazy :-)
Its like bastion, but different.
good mahjong games?
this game got boring after the first 3 hours.
frostpunk gud? I hear it's optimized to shit
Is starbound any good?
>Not a bad price
It literally went from 66% off previously to now 50%. How is this not bad?
>worse grim dawn
hard to imagine that being possible
>Mad Max
One of the better open world games I've played. Surprisingly comfy.
>Sleeping Dogs
The best True Crime game ever released.
>Titan Quest
One of the better diablo-esque games.
>Starbound
Nope
>It literally went from 66%
well I didn't know that.
NO
DONT
How the fuck did you get all them games so cheap? And some for free?
no
Whats the $30 dlc?
Alien Swarm
Gauntlet
Magicka
Space Hulk: Deathwing
Vermintide
Is this good or should i wait for winter sale?
Crosscode seems way too expensive

It's one of my top favorite horror games, totally worth it though, the atmosphere is superb
Just get it man. I'm also often tempted to fully prepare myself for 100 percent appreciation of a game, but you'll just continually put it off for no real reason. You can always replay it once you've done all the other ones.
Okay fuck those reviews you guys are the real deal, what is worth buying and what is actually hot trash from here?
Yeah it's just a bunch of jrpg help me out
>shilling Van Helsing
Since it takes place over like 3 games I did find by the end it ramped up to wacky levels that still felt consistent.
Can you put a value on such a wondrous product? In fact, I think you should buy it at full price to truly feel the satisfaction of supporting such a fantastic company as you play!
I want a new fighting game to learn
Blazblue Crosstag
Blazblue CentralFiction
Undernight in Birth Exe Late
Soul Calibur VI

Heroes of Might and Magic 5
Kenshi
Furi
Atom RPG
Dominions 5
Some shit you probably wont hear many people talk about that are good.
played it. God damn it's fucking hard.
Should i get Zanki Zero Last Beginning or did the censorship completely fuck it in the west? It's 50% off atm
>quirky
It's funny how a single word can immediately kill my interest.
Keep:
All Ys
Trails in the sky
Drop:
Cold Steel
TX
VC4
Disgaeashit
Fuck you, every time I see this image I check steam to see if Valkyrie profile is actually there
should i do it
BlazBlue, Under Night is dead and Soul Calibur ain't that fun anyway imo.
is it jump-scare heavy?
I just threw everything I'm interested in that I think has a good price into my cart and I'm going to bring it down to around $30. Tell me what to cut, the only two locks are Aztez and Dark Messiah. Also, I've got no Ys experience at all, if Oath isn't the best in this price point let me know, I've just heard the most about it.
Games on my wishlist not on here that I'm willing to wait on are Capcom Beat-em-Up Bundle and Assault Spy. I think they'll be less some other time since they're more recent (same with some other games like Katana Zero & The Messenger, I'm waiting for
I don't think you should be wasting money on games, i think you should be saving up to move out that shithole.
should I buy?
hehe lol trolled
Added 2 more games, anything I should add or remove?
>cucktivision
>no multiplayer
Don't worry, From and Bobby Kike won't starve to death if you won't buy it.
>Risk of Rain (1)

Ordered by preference, if anyone wants to help a poorfag out
Prey? I will check it out. Is the DLC necessary/worth it?
>2D
To an extent. Like I said, I have a few indie games. I was also pretty into Mario and Megaman back in the day. Hollow Knight actually looks pretty nice.
>sekiro
>sale isn't significant
Pretty much. And desu from my playing of DS2 and DS3, I think DS1 might just be a bit special to me.
Speaking of, if I want to play DS1 multiplayer, i need the fucking remaster, don't I?
Might as well list off indie games I have for recs.
>Binding of Isaac (good but not sure if want the extra stuff)
>meat boy (good but honestly pretty short)
>beholder (sounds good, gets kinda boring)
>clustertruck (sounds good, gets a bit annoying desu)
>FTL (almost 100 hours, good game)
Is into the breach good?
>Limbo (okay, short though)
>the long dark (starts out okay, gets tedious)
>pinstripe (not bad but not that great, i've played flash games that are a fair bit better, like...)
>Plague Inc (like)
>This War of Mine
I liked this more than I thought and beat every scenario. Any games like this that you guys know of?
>Undertale (it's okay)
>inb4 "get FN@F"

ror1
dlc is worth it but not necessary . its a lot of fun though
All the Ys there range from decent to fantastic. So you're not erring too much.
Trails in the Sky is a REALLY slow burn, but finishing the trilogy is actually quite good.
Labyrinth of refrain is very decent. Not fantastic, but a good option if you like Etrian Odyssey.
I didn't like Tokyo Xanadu myself. I'd recommend against it.
Shining Resonance I've only played a few, and it feels very...ok like nothing special. I would replace it with Tales of Vesperia or Berseria.
VC4 is fantastic. Never finished Disgaea 5.
more like no man's playing lol
Ahem... FUCK (You)kai
>, if I want to play DS1 multiplayer, i need the fucking remaster, don't I?
No, both are pretty equally dead.
i would wait on sekiro . its a fun game buts only good for 1-3 play throughs
are we allowed to beg for shit?
Is the steam port of Chrono Trigger any good or is it dogshit and I should stick to just emulating it?
papers please for story
RoR is kinda shit but thats just me
baba for puzzles
etg for listening to background noise while playing
Its serviceable. Nothing spectacular.
I've heard it launched as dogshit but enough people cared that they yelled at Square until they fixed it. I can't say if that's true, just what I've seen people say.
it's fun, I liked it. of course I played it back in 1995 too so I had nostalgia glasses on, but I liked the extra content it had from the ds verison that the original snes version didn't
>how
Simply wait for sale. Also giveaways are a thing. Humble bundle always gives out free steam keys as well. See pic related. Just filter steam for titles under 10$ and shop away good older games.
>all these slow boring copy pasted JRPGs
Son you will have to play these until xmas and still have half of them unfinished. Shlash it in half.
From these only soul calibur isnt complete disaster.
Gta5 is good. Pick only ONE stalker game. Dont bloat your backlog son.
Only enter the gungeon is good. Rest is either too artistic or too cryptic to enjoy.
Overpriced dogshit. For how shit emulator runs it, it should cost 1 dollar.
yeah just get rising storm vietnam tons of players and plenty of servers.
can someone help me out
whats is lobotomy corporation? been seeing lots of threads on it. is it worth my burgers?
Anyone?
great list dark mesiah, transistor and jedi academy, outcast are DEFINITELY worth it
Environmental Station Alpha.

remember to buy stephenie joostens game, she is out of work and needs the money.

Friendly reminder to buy the best puzzle game ever made.

what exactly does denuvo do? wanted to get berseria but it installs that shit
vanquish, mgr,bastion, spelunky and apotheon
go for it
Is Naruto To Boruto: Shinobi Striker worth it? Played the beta on PS4 but haven't been able to buy it on PC.
>Simply wait for sale
But the games in this picture
Are less than what they actually cost. Just Cause 3 and all of the DLC costs £5.71, not £0.78

you have a really bad taste in games so you wont like k7 just drop that
Drop some of the Ys games. The games in each "generation" are very similar and you're going to get burnt out going through them all. Thankfully they're all mostly self-contained stories so you aren't missing anything.
Ys 1 and 2
Oath in Felghana
Ys 8
All you need.
How do I get points for the race? I bought 3 games and only have 14
Way of the Samurai 3 is on Steam? Since when?
I bought lobotomy corperation and hylics
Might get it just because I'm a fuck that can't say no to sales. I'm conditioned like that.
Welp.
That's the plan. I haven't even beat DS2/3 yet.
Might work better if you go to Yea Forums or /r9k/ and whore yourself out (assuming you're a girl or a feminine male).
I use to fuck with Way of the Samurai back on my ps2. Pretty fun game, so I recommend the first two, not sure about the other two though.
r8 dont h8
get a job
You get points by playing games. Buying them just raises your cap.
I was thinking about
The friends of Ringo Ishikawa,
Pathfinder: Kingmaker - Enhanced Edition
Rez Infinite
Hands of Fate 2
For the King
Foundation
Anyone have some strong feelings about those games?
whats a relatively new game with good gameplay and story?
*h8s*
save up for a new oven
While colourful, WotS 4 is more closer to 1 and 2, for WotS 3 they tried a more open world.
That's one of the ones I wanted to try and keep despite being the most expensive on the list. I loved No More Heroes 1 for its style but thought its gameplay was just okay, however I love rail shooters so I feel like Killer7 would appeal to me.
>relatively new game
Are you expecting to get more than $10 off on the sale, user? Or is relatively new as early as 2016?
Is there any way to hide the games you have played/own from others on your friend list? I really don't want people seeing all the fucking steam porn games I own
By Disgaeashit you are also talking about Phantom Brave and Refrain?
Yeah it seems Ys and Trails in the Sky are worth my money as for everything else it's just shit I read it was okay or what reviews say but I don't really trust them
>a good option if you like Etrian Odyssey.
Why yes how did you know I like EO?
It's okay bro
>slash it in half
Time it's not a problem but getting bad games it's a big one
Alright thanks man maybe I can watch videos to not miss the adventure
presofthebank
okay well if you want my honest opinion its literally the best game i've ever played and despite the word being thrown around a lot it's the only game i would truly consider being "kino"
Not bad. Have you considered Downwell?
2010s to present
you can't hide individual games but you can hide them all.
DEEP ROCK GALACTIC
>Undertale, Deltarune, Doom (listed twice?), I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream, LISA are horror games
I'm confused by this.
I bought vanquish because I love platinum, but it blows
how new is relatively new? like past year?
if so you're not gonna find many good deals
