i played ff15 to chapter 13 and had this gut feeling to just turn it off and never play it again.
i got to just before the final boss in bravely default having max level OP builds, and never finished it.

sekiro though was fun for a few hours until i just got sick of it.

Reminder that shitty unplayable games aside, burnout is real and forcing yourself to play is only going to make it tougher to get back in. You don't need to finish a game just after starting, take your time playing and if need be leave it and come back later. Large games in particular like Fallout, TES titles, Persona, etc tend to be best played in sessions with periods of rest in between where you go play something else.
Also remember games are about fun, don't turn them into a chore.

it took me forever to beat the game because i could only stomach it for 2 hours at a time.
eventually i stopped just straight up stopped looting and checking every nook and cranny just so i could focus on beating the main story.
i even have the dlcs but have no desire of playing them even though they are apparently really good.

I've played FFIV like a dozen times, but I've only beaten Zeromus once. I might have enjoyed grinding for it if FFIV had a job system, but levels are just stat numbers in this game. It's such a shame because I really enjoyed the difficulty otherwise—especially in the DS version with Augments.
