It's a party game like Mario Party. Except instead of going around a board, you take turns doing Dating-Sim activities to improve stats (think Princess Trainer).
And after each of those activities, you go through a small bite-sized Visual-Novel event that involves whichever monster you're trying to get with. All of these are actually unique events that will have a single choice with two options and four outcomes (depending if you choose the right choice for your stat-spread)
At the end, you choose which monster you want to bone and if you meet their stat requirements, they say yes. There's also secret endings with pre-scripted VN events taht have to be completed in order.
Wehn you play multiplayer, everyone goes for Polly and it becomes a thing to see who can cuck who

Be sure to pick the right version if you don't purchase Ultimate Edition of Vegas. But Ultimate Edition/GOTY is heavily recommended. DLCs are very good and a lot of mods require having DLCs installed anyway.

SHoC can be played vanilla fine but there are community bugfixes so you might want to look into that too.

Not really. The MC has amnesia during 1 and 2, and the stories are self-contained, it's part of their way of easing non-book readers into the games.

By 3 though, he has his full memory back and far more important characters from the books appear. If you're autistic about the sequence, then you should probably read the novels since 3 plays out more like a direct sequel to those, while 1&2 is like that time when you were drunk and didn't really do anything too important.

Fun, but the humor is lacking.

Is Tokyo Xandu worth it? I was thinking about Labirynth of Refrain but its pretty costly. Oh and Garrison Archangel, even if it's EA still but with frequent updates.

I don't know if you know this, but you can play both games in real-time or by turns by switching options. They're most similar in theme, party management, and RP. The biggest difference would probably be the meta mechanics of Kingmaker, and how linear Divinity's main campaign is by comparison.

I played through Witcher 3 + all DLCs two summers ago. It's long enough to keep you busy for hundreds of hours. Skip the other games and buy Witcher 3 Enhanced Edition for 15 bucks. Buy a pizza for 10€ to go withc witcher 3 and have fun

Also get FCR3 mod, it's by a former Wticher dev and it rebalances combat. Sometimes makes it easier if you have a temporary party member since they actually deal damage now.

There are mods that downscale enemies/loot or remove leveling completely, use those if you don't want to be railroaded by the levels.

DAO is pretty good but some parts of the game are longer than they should be which can be a bit boring. Combat is a hit or miss with some people but I didn't have problems with it. Dialogues and story are good. And there are some mods on Nexus.
Dialogue is just like Kotor games with unvoiced protagonist. About 70 hours or so if you most of DLCs and don't skip on sidequests.
Also you don't have to play any sequels, the story is rather self-contained and sequels are bad, Inquisition especially
