Probably the BotW Champions. Although Mipha and Daruk may as well just be reskins of Ruto and Darunia.

>Mikau

Non characters wants, bosses you can whack at without relying on a weakspot, a less shitty story and more enemy types, even some minibosses as commanders.
I want playable Kass and Sidon. Fuck the champions. I also want a bug-catching moveset for Agitha.
The auto-includes.
Mipha has her spear going for her, so she'd be a lot easier to design a moveset for that isn't anything like Ruto's.
The one who should've already been in the first game.
If there's anything I want them to avoid, it's the BotW characters, only BECAUSE they're so obvious. The later parts of the DLC were knockouts because they were creative and unexpected.
>The auto-includes.
Watch the Hyrule Warriors sequel include none of them or only half of them.
They'd be shoe-ins for a BotW episode of the main story, so they'd be in the base game. DLC can still be wildcards.
What else would a sequel include?
Unless they pull a Smash Ultimate and bring back everyone, they'd have to pad out the roster with every notable BotW character.
Forgot about him, sorry.
So long as it's all four of them, I can deal with it.
>they'd have to pad out the roster with every notable BotW character
There are literally fifty characters that can be added, and you cannot use irrelevancy, a lack of moveset or any Smashfag rule.
>Unless they pull a Smash Ultimate and bring back everyone
I'm not expecting any cuts. Warriors games expand the roster with each sequel.
But they're also in no obligation to put every single champion or put a single one in the game. Which is a good thing.
Thinking about buying this. How many hours should I expect to get out of it? Should I wait a while until it's on sale again or is it worth the $60?
Am I doing something wrong or are character enemies bullet sponges? Specifically for shit like the quizzes. I try to kill the right one but it takes soo fucking long that I don't get A rank
>How many hours should I expect to get out of it?
Unironically 500 for 100% completion.
Is there a faster way of completing adventure maps?
I don't regret buying it for full price. I've put over a hundred hours into it. But it honestly depends if you like repetitiveness and mediocre gameplay because I find that shit addictive.
Characters: Firstly, don’t cut any characters. If they are cut, add them back as free DLC later on, like previous Warrior games have.
First, I’d add one character from the three main games from the first (OoT, TP, SS), I’m thinking Rauru who shifts into Kaepora Gaebora, Hero’s Shade or Yeto, and Groose, who uses a combo of a mini Groosenator and a Loftwing.
Then I’d add BotW characters. I’m thinking Urbosa and Revali as those are quite different from any other characters. Make Mipha and Daruk costumes. Maybe as a random addition throw in Master Kogha.
Other characters that could be added are Vaati, the Oracles, Onox, Veran, Byrne, Linebeck and Princess Styla, using the doppledolls. Maybe some new Characters, or characters from the next game.
Weapons: All weapons return. Maybe some new elements, like Wind.
Link-Sheikah Slate (Darkness)
Zelda-Staff (Water?)
Impa-Whip (Lightning)
Young Link-Other Masks (Varies)
Toon Link-Four Sword (Based on Minish Cap, incorporates Ezlo)
Train (Lightning)
King Daphnes-Paraglider (Lightning)
Agitha-Fishing Rod (Water)
Ganondorf-Warlock (Uses Fists and Magic) (Varies)
For new characters:
Princess Styla-The Doppelgängers from TH
Vaati-Minish Cap
Byrne-Hand glove thing
Level 4 weapons are now unique.
Can’t think of any more, any suggestions.
I got 8 hours from it. and I usually like repetitive games (Vermintide, Monster Hunter, Smite)
>How many hours should I expect to get out of it?
Fucking hundreds. The game has all the content from the 3ds and its DLC, which already had all the content from the Wii U and its DLC.
It's PACKED with content.
>Agitha-Fishing Rod (Water)
I can see it. But I'm expecting the bug catching net since it's more obvious.
2 hours before your realise you're doing the same thing over and over again
You know who'd be pretty far out of left field?
I don’t want any more copy/paste warriors games. Thanks. Koei Tecmo might be the most jewed studio out of japan.
>They only make warriors games and contracted spinoffs
>Games are totally mindless, press X to watch flashy animations and people dying left and right, but with no skill
>They copy/paste the same warriors format for 3 different other series
>THE FIRE EMBLEM WARRIORS DIRECTOR DIDNT EVEN PLAY FIRE EMBLEM (He stated his own team didn’t even have faith in him because he wasn’t a fan of the series)
Koei Tecmo is only there to shill anime waifubait hack and slash. Not even real games.
Princess Styla would be great! Wields the Doppel Dolls, Light Elemental. I actually like the concept of TFH, but I my self never really played it. I like the idea of implimenting a final Fantasy Job system-like feature to Zelda. That being said, when you play single player and Link is acompanied by the two Doppel Dolls to aid him, I was thinking apply that to Styla controlling the Dolls ala V from DMC5. Green Doppel use the main attack string, but charge attacks bring out Blue and Red. The standard attack string inflicts Light elemental damage. Blue Charge Attacks inflict Water, Red Charge Attacks inflict Fire, and ones involving all three include fire, Water and electric Damage from Green's charge attacks. So she'd be a multi elemental fighter, like Sheik. The only element she'd be missing is Darkness. though her Rank 4+ Weapon would add Darkness as the secondary element after Light, giving her all 5.
More race-specific armies. It's nice to have Hylians and Gorons, but they're so fucking weak since they only have one captain each who are also among the easiest in the game. Zora, Twili and maybe Deku Scrubs would be cool.
More stages from other games. Dark World, Koholint, that kinda stuff. Hyrule Castle/Ganon's Tower being actual stages is also something I missed.
OoT Link costume in all his N64 3D glory.
Just put in more of everything, really. I loved HW so fucking much, that's all they have to do to make me buy a sequel.
I have at least 200+ hours in it, and I'm not even halfway with completing all the adventure mode maps. Bought it full price and never regretted it, though I had wanted to play it for a long time since I never got a WiiU.

I know that's not exactly fifty, but HW did create OC's of varying quality so make that as you will.
>It's PACKED with content.
I put in over 200 hours of it and most of that was from grinding. Don't mislead that user. You have to be a Zelda fan and a musou fan or at least tolerate musous to really enjoy it.
am I supposed to clear one adventure map at a time and just go down the list?
The only thing I'd want a sequel for is more nice character models. The gameplay sucks ass.
I believe you can do any map you want to at any time
What is this supposed to mean?
Don't listen to anyone telling you it's packed with content. You're just doing the same shit a thousand times over.
It can be a bitch of a time to do some of the maps if you haven't gotten an item necessary for killing a boss, like Helmaroc.
>You're just doing the same shit a thousand times over.
that's the best part
Wheres my oracle remakes
Ah, I gave up on grinding without even having finished the first map so I had no idea. Like I want the TP outfit and all the characters but the story mode burned me out
Read the file name
Aside from the Champions, since I know that Koei does a really good job with bow movesets. I want them to finally put in the Oracle stuff. Yes, Capcom games, but they had no problem making references to them with the Kin Stone from MInish Cap form the King and the seeds you feed to the fairies. Mikau, Vaati, Demise, the Ikana Warrior.
Then there is all of the Zelda 2 stuff they could do for bosses. Horse Head? Thunderbird? Go back to Zelda 1 again and do Gleeok, Digdogger.
You are either underleveled, or you don't have a good enough weapon. Make sure that you are building your weapon to the strength of your character. Also, fairies are really powerful if you are playing Switch version. If it's an element issues, then you can get a fairy skill that replaces your element with theirs, making some fights super easy.

>the blacksmith family from ALBW was a family of dwarves in ALTTP
>they wore kokiri-like tunics in both games
>the son of the blacksmith from ALBW, Gulley, is confirmed to have Saria's blood
Hylians fucked kokiri and gave birth to dwarves whose blood was diluted after fuck more hylians, but they still have kokiri blood and Gulley proves it

kokiri grow up if they leave the forest
they were originally hylians in the first place
source? never heard that before
>implying kokiri aren't the result of hylians fucking kikwi
>In truth, the Kokiri are also Hylians. They trace their roots back to a time when the Hylians were first developing their civilization, building cities and relying on a less natural way of life. The Kokiri decided to distance themselves from the Hylians, exiling themselves to the forest to make their own way of life closer to nature.
>The Kokiri are told that they will die if they leave the forest, but that is because they will age in places the Deku Tree's power does not reach.
Zelda Encyclopedia
>Zelda Encyclopedia
In-game in OoT's ending, they left the forest and nothing happened.
they aged by a few hours
>After the Sage of Forest revives and the child of the Deku Tree is born, they become able to venture outside of the forest they had been confined in for so long
Don't be smart with me, boy.
I unironically want a Mario Musou.
Zelda Encyclopedia isn't canon.
It's the same thing that asserts Termina is a fake universe created entirely by Majora, so you can see where the authors took liberties and pushed weird theories.
>After the Sage of Forest revives
You mean restored?
Link's one true girlfriend.
>Link's one true girlfriend.
Me?
I'm honestly not concerned with playable characters since the roster is already pretty huge and only missing a couple of obvious choices. What I want is more maps, more armies, larger variety of mini-captains, reworked giant bosses, subweapons not being basically worthless (aside from bow), and maybe some QoL changes like showing A-rank requirements and some actual in-game info on how mechanics like elements work.
Just give me more cute fairies and I'll be happy
No.
You're my one true boyfriend.
sub-5 minutes on a geared character isn't fast enough for you?
I'm just confused on how I should go about progressing
Link cucked an entire race of people
>Sage of Forest revives
So they're not sages anymore?
The original/master quest maps usually have the best rewards & the final boss on screens that were relevant in the original Legend of Zelda. The entire game is fanservice to people who grew up on that + also like Dynasty Warriors' gameplay/map control/objectives (i.e. me)
Hyrule Warriors 2 Additional Characters:
>Pig Ganon (Link to the Past)
>Vaati
>Linebeck
>Nayru (Oracle)
>Din (Oracle)
>Farore (Oracle)
>Sidon
>Daruk
>Revali
>Urbosa
>Mipha
>Hilda
>Demise
>Ashei
>Kass
>Groose
>Ricky (with Moosh and Dimitri) (could also work as a new weapon type for one of the links like Epona)
Additional Weapons:
>Double Clawshots (Grappling Hook is already used for traversal, but I feel they could implement double clawshot as a weapon that drags enemies towards you, you towards them, stabs them and allows you to do various types of throws and the like) (Link)
>Clubs (non-specific, probably either Link or Darunia)
>Sheikah Slate (Link)
>Mitts/Claws (ex:Mole Mitts from Minish Cap) (Toon Link)
>Whips (Sheik)
>Bug-Catching Net (Agatha) (could also work as a new piece of Equipment)
New Pieces of Equipment:
>Gust Bellows
>Shovel
Give Link the Biggoron Sword.
I never considered Hestu and I forgot about Makar. also guess I didn't think we needed hero shade because I was left wondering how he'd be differentiated from Link, but then again Hyrule Warriors already has characters who have weapon overlap and the game still makes them feel different, so I guess It'd be cool to see the Hero's Shade playable now that I think about it.
I'd love this, but since Young Link already uses heavy swords alongside his Fierce Deity Mask I feel he'd be more likely to get it than Link.
I want to pat Saria’s head
No.
