Entire FEAR collection has been 5 dollars on Fanatical forever.

Is the first Risk of Rain still fun to play with the lads? It's like 7 bucks for a 4-pack.

Also, XCOM Enemy Within worth it? I only have EU.

Recommend me a comfy exploration game like Dark Souls or Thief that lets me play at my own pace.

I always like to recommend Spiders and their delightfully janky rpgs.. Bound by Flame, Technomancer, and soon Greedfall. They are low budget yet impressive considering the money. They are dirt fucking cheap during the steam sales and are interesting and fun rides. Also the game Of Orcs and Men is the farthest in the timeline of the Styx games and is also fun. and co developed with Spiders

post wishlists in case anons are feeling genorous.

Ummm... all of them?

Yep. It's really pathetic how redundant this steam sale is. You can get every game cheaper everywhere else throughout the entire year.

STEAM

STALKER

If I'm only interested in playing the Hitman 1 levels, should I get Hitman 2 + GOTY Legacy Pack (which is cheaper) or Hitman 1 GOTY?

Or don't, because nobody is going to buy you games. Get a job, you fuck.

2

Reposting some recommendations:

Any other games like Dragon Dogma?

Get the classic tomb raiders. They perfectly nail that feeling of exploration and discovery. They're almost like 3D platform puzzle games, there's nothing else quite like them. 1-4 are all 9/10 at least.

Should I pull the trigger?

Attached: cart.png (615x648, 111K)

oh and

Elder Scrolls online. Hear me out. $9.99 and you get the base game and the Morrowwind expansion. No subscription and its really comfy and easy since everything scales to your current level. Any class can use any weapon and armor and you are rewarded for exploring. Ive been playing it as like a single player ES game that happenes to have other people sometimes. i really enjoy it. Also Civ 4/5/6 is really comfy.

Not without the messenger

Could do with some recommendations

Attached: 1531800698022.png (638x287, 40K)

>Timeshift
Why?

Timeshift was incredibly forgettable for me, to the point I honestly just remembered recently I had played it.

tell us what you need in your life brother

it should be 20% and 33% w/ occasional 50% and super-rare 75%

I'm talking about the free Hitman 2 starter pack and not the standard game. Is it still better to get the legacy pack than the first game?

Are there any good porn games going for a low price?
On the less lurid end of things I am considering picking up Darksiders 2, I liked the first game when I played it on the wiiu

a purpose

Attached: 1543902510423.jpg (800x450, 50K)

Yes

If you like Urban Exploring, INFRA is quite neat and unique but it is more like an adventure game. I have put like 40h in it.

I just remembered right now that it fucking existed.

Is Yakuza support my meme 21:9 monitor, finally?
I might buy it. Again, after I got a refund because of that.

Is Outward good? I would be playing solo only.

Is Civ V good? It seems to be getting negative reviews

Already played all 3.

I hear the best way to play these nowadays is through OpenTomb, so why buy them on Steam?

I already wasted 20,000 hours of my life on MMOs. It does look cool and I love the singleplayer TES games, but I can't play an MMO.

but user tf2 is free

Subnautica
Solus Project

cant help with that but Vanquish or Bayonetta might.

Attached: tenor.gif (498x278, 1.53M)

here you go, friend

Attached: hqdefault.jpg (480x360, 14K)

Meant to say Civ VI

It's a decent game. Has some fun mechanics here and there and for the most part you can expect the same as the first one. Death's personality is actually likable at times. Worth it if it's cheap.

I'm craving a B tier linear shooter, game looks like it scratches that itch.
Got it free through Twitch Prime, gonna give it a try soon, looks fun.

there's a one man-made UAYEB w/ atrocious acting and locked controls but the exploration part is nice

I got the entire Total War Warhammer collection, wasn't cheap, was no "deal" at all but IDGAF.

I'm just recommending good games that fit your request, user. Play on OpenTomb if you'd prefer, but I personally prefer TombATI for Tomb Raider 1, and the rest run just fine natively. Don't skip them altogether just because of that, they're too good to miss.

I really hate the visual style but gameplay wise its fine. It got a lot of heat for some information collecting spyware shit that they put in the game but I think it has been removed.

it's kinda meh, very little creativity when it comes to gameplay, clear meta exists, which takes a lot of fun from the game when you do the same stuff the same way or you lose every game

pull my finger

Sleeping dogs definitive edition is 2$. That's a great deal if anyone's interested.

I've been eyeballin' Q.U.B.E and Q.U.B.E 2
I like puzzle games but I don't love puzzle games. I always feel the need to have something "more" besides just the plain puzzle.

are these two worth my NEETbux?

Attached: ss_1cbda93626a2d877f1b6753798b6744f3e0dfcc2.1920x1080.jpg (1280x720, 115K)

>-20% -20% -20% -20% -20%

Attached: 1520785263342.jpg (1024x1015, 113K)

No, it's buggy as shit, crone to extreme crashing, and they'll now NEVER fix it because 2 is more popular than 1 ever was.

i played an ungodly amount of hours of it and had nothing but good times. I've moved on to 6. people said 6 was shit but i love the game and its expansions. come to think of it people said 5 was shit too, and it was meh vanilla but the expansions especially Brave New World where major improvements. Also Venice is best civ.

Attached: FB_IMG_1560447482888.jpg (1920x1410, 234K)

people say the art style is shit but gameplay wise its fine the expansions are great.

You're still better off buying Civ V complete, or getting another 4x like Endless Legend (base game is still really solid for EL so don't feel like you need to get the full collection right away).

>game was on sale 4 weeks ago on the mini mini seasonal sale
>actually less discount on the summer sale

I see this with a ton of games.

>JACK UP THE PRICES BEFORE HAND

IT'S NOT EVEN A SALE AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Attached: 1561533327638.jpg (500x500, 21K)

Is Warhammer Mechanicus on sale
?

The first one kept my interest for maybe 1.5h before I started to switch off, and I didn't end up going back to it. It's not bad but it feels pretty by-the-numbers and you'll find yourself autopiloting the solutions. If it's super cheap and you have nothing else to play they can't hurt, but they're not fantastic.

I'm planning on getting Bloodstained, what else should I pick?

VI has been a massive improvement since its original release. With that said from what I heard it's still not yet the "complete" form.

So I bought hitman 1 unknowing that 2 had the same levels. I was originally planning on beating 1 and buying 2 later, should i refund 1 and buy 2 instead now?

Currently it has more gameplay features than Civ 5 but AI is rather dumb and easy to abuse, and some people dislike the artstyle (which looks like a mobile game). Also game UI is complete trash which is partially fixed by mods and some mods were already incorporated in the game, thankfully.
Don't bother buying without the expansion packs.

Attached: a_shekel_for_a_good_soy.jpg (498x501, 111K)

If you get 2, the dlc that adds in 1 is cheaper than purchasing 1 on its own.

Check out something like Obduction instead. It has a focus on environmental puzzles, and has a pretty good narrative that ties into puzzles. It can be pretty immersive, and is much more imaginative than obviously defined "puzzle rooms". It kept me hooked until the end, and I'm the same as you for most puzzle games.

But do you get the same content? Side-missions and stuff? Or however they are called?

Need some good RPGs or really unique games that can hold my attention.

Attached: 1561354962863.jpg (403x403, 23K)

I already bought 1, should i refund it then? Or not bother if i dont plan on playing 2 anytime soon

ioi.dk/hitman-legacy-faq/

Kult Heretic Kingdoms

>from the creators of Myst
yeah thanks but I'll pass

Yes or no?

Attached: file.png (666x556, 234K)

If you like story and a mediocre to okay combat system, the trails in the sky games are all really good (but they never go on sale for decent prices and this is no exception). Trails of cold steel sucks ass so avoid those.

I bought Bound by Flame for like 10 bux or less and still felt ripped off. What a piece of shit that game was.

>Escalation Contracts from HITMAN will be released over time and added to each Legacy Pack location at no additional cost.
Are these fully available or it's still missing some?

Kenshi

y

>tfw none of the games right now are appealing to me

I already have must-haves like DMC5 and Bloodstained. I'm mostly looking at "builder" sims but Cities Skylines blur the line on what's expac and what isn't, Planet Zoo is still not yet out, and apparently Rise of Industry is bad.

is it worth it without DLCs?

Well if you have no intention of buying 2 it is obviously much cheaper to just purchase 1. 1 is only cheaper when purchased as the legacy dlc for 2 which means you need to purchase 2 as a prerequisite.
So if you want to buy them both you save a few dollars going for the legacy dlc instead of buying the first game separately.

What's wrong with Myst? Look at The Room instead, then.

it's easier that way, but yeah

>Kult Heretic Kingdoms
done next? anything with romance? im a poor sad soul....

Attached: what else..png (630x389, 43K)

Can only spend 25 euro, what should i keep ?

Attached: 1.jpg (626x547, 42K)

You don't have to buy 2 to buy the GOTY Legacy Pack. The free edition is enough.

with bundles being what they are, I seem to only buy one or two games during a sale, if anything these days.

Also, my taste in games is horrible.

Attached: Screenshot_2019-06-26 Thank you for your Steam purchase.png (283x527, 81K)

I grew up poor and missed out on a lot of games in my childhood and adolescent years, mostly just playing Sonic and Minecraft and emulating Nintendo.
I just built my first PC a few months back and now plan on trying to play through what I missed from current and last 2 gens. (/endblogpost)
What essentials do you guys recommend, triple A or indie? Or just recc your favorite games? I feel intimidated as fuck with how much there is to play, I just wanted to stock up now while they're all cheap

Attached: 1517848825759.jpg (1200x899, 110K)

2019

i am forgotten

Attached: Half-Life_2_cover.jpg (300x428, 45K)

>anything with romance?
Huniepop (or read manga on sad panda)

oui/no but in french? I'll likely wait until the 6th to actually buy them, because I'm worried that with my luck, one or more of them will end up in the HIB monthly.

Attached: sale.jpg (631x796, 95K)

wonder boy sucks just play the original. curse of the moon is great, cryptark is good, I'd recommend divinity over tyranny. never played aggelos or cryptark.

Romancing Saga 2 is pretty fantastic, and I almost guarantee you've played nothing like it. It doesn't have romance, but you just reminded me of it. Absolutely get it if you enjoy RPGs but are open to learning a completely new set of systems. It borrows almost nothing from other JRPGs which is pretty refreshing.

I want to buy a stalker game, already have clear sky so which do I get? Call of Pripyat or Shadow of Chernobyl?
>inb4 buy both

I didn't forget, everyone already has this 13 or something year old game already is all

SoC or Both.

>half life... 3...
>i am... forgotten......

is CK2's holy fury worth getting?

is monster hunter world fun to soloplay? and if co-op is a must then how is the solo queue? like if i don't follow a certain meta will i get kicked/harassed by annoying little shits? is it acceptable to not use your mic (unlike, say, csgo)? how important is it to work as a team?

SOC is first

>post about something to claim it's forgotten

The Game

soc is the meme one v raves about. Install the zrp mod.

SHoC has the best atmosphere, but reuses the same locations as Clear Sky (or rather the other way around since CS was released after SHoC).
Pripyat is the most polished and takes place in new locations.
Story-wise it's Clear Sky -> SHoC -> Pripyat

I think SHoC has the most mods but I'm not sure nowadays, maybe Pripyat is better for mods now.

Holy shit the combat is pretty damn good

I would mention Lost Dimension or God Eater those are really more on the unique and fun end they are also not long and drawn out like the Trails series. Conception 2 is unique but then again it may not keep your attention.

call of pripyat and install call of chernobyl and boom, ultimate stalker experience

Shadow with mods it is, thanks anons. Will likely get the other in due time, but I like playing through my backlog.

>steam summer sale
>remember that I own all games I want

>Romancing Saga 2
should i emulated the first one or are we playing by FF rules?

>posts half life 2
There's no demand anymore for Half-Life 3, plus the key writers no longer work for Valve. If you care that much still, check out Project Borealis
Valve would much rather sink resources into Dota and CS:GO.. guess their goal as a company is to make money, after all.

I liked Fallout 3 and loved New Vegas, now I have a non shit computer, should I buy 4?

fanatical.com/en/bundle/fugitive-bundle

BOTH

Attached: 1452085865367.jpg (720x720, 79K)

Can't speak of anything else, but remove Tyranny. It's shallow railroady garbage with awful writing and boring combat.
Pirate it if you must, but don't bother paying for it.

Are there any games that's like the Shin Megami Tensei series?

Any recommendations for some co-op ?

Attached: 6e6fee_5170386[1].jpg (1280x720, 165K)

I ended up getting the entire new THQ classics collection instead, sure I already have the first Darksiders on wiiu but it's still a pretty good deal

Same and I usually buy games on cdkeys which is still cheaper for most AAA than the sale is now

>I'm craving a B tier linear shooter, game looks like it scratches that itch.
have you played doom 3? get the doom pack for 5 bucks. don't get bfg edition because flashlight ruins gameplay.

I would say to buy 4 but use mods. That would be the only thing useful about it.

Good for you, buddy. Have you played them?

recommend me something good

Yea.

Should I get Sims 3 and Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon ?

Resident Evil 5

edf4

Vampyr is 60% off any, never heard of it, what's your verdict Yea Forums?

better slightly more polished VTMB

essential triple A titles:
witcher 3
doom
bioshock collection
wolfenstein the new order
far cry 3, 4, 5
deus ex HR, MD
resident evil 7
metro 2033, last light

watch dogs 1 and 2 arent essential but still fun

>Is the first Risk of Rain still fun to play with the lads?

Yes, but don't play with autists on Yea Forums, play solo or find other people to play with on the internet that aren't Yea Forumsirgins.

No idea what this retard is going on about, I have 100 hours, never had crashes. Never heard about other people having crashes either.

How is StarCrawlers?

>never heard of other people having crashes

Already played through
Played through and waiting for 5 on PC

It's one of those indies that you have to play

Absolute fucking gem of a game, oozes charisma and the gameplay is really fun as well.

Transistor isn't as good, but it's still top notch.

Music is great
Gameplay is OK

Paradox dlcs should be pirated, no exceptions. Don't feed their cancer

Legitimately great game, £2 is practically a steal

my stardew valley quests didnt work but then i got 12k points

This, I need opinions on Skylines DLC

Any suggestions? Upper limit is around 50€, max 55.

Im afraid this will be first sale, where I won't buy anything. I was stupid to buy Pathfinder on GOG sale two weeks ago, it went 50% off on Steam instead of 33% on GOG.

Labyrinth of Refrain have way too low discount. I was thinking about Tokyo Xanadu Ex but no idea about the rest.

Any suggestions?

Really need to give a hint on genres you might want to try first.
That said, this can only be a random sample of things you might have "missed" that are not online multiplayer since the playerbase may not be there for it. None of these are more than 5-10 dollars:

Age of Empires 2
Baldur's Gate 2: Enhanced Edition
Cave Story
The Binding of Isaac
Defense Grid
Heroes of Might and Magic III: HD Edition
Frozen Synapse
Half Life 2: Orange Box
Hotline Miami
Mass Effect
Max Payne 2
Mirror's Edge
Papers, Please!
Psychonauts
Rise of Nations: Extended Edition
Spelunky
Super Meat Boy
Torchlight
Total Annihilation
Undertale
Witcher 2: Assassin of Kings

You're a motherfucker.

it's like in the hall of fame of early western indie classics
Bastion, Braid, Super Meat Boy, Mechinarium, Fez, FTL, Papers Please
If you don't already own all of these, you should get around to it

What benefits does doing this have outside of helping your team? Does it increase your own capacity at all?

Fallout 4 is the worst 3D Fallout.

VC4 is basically an inproved version of VC1.
Zanki Zero is pretty good if you enjoyed DR and Zero Escape writing.

Attached: lacerations.jpg (566x471, 133K)

I'm retarded Yea Forums.

I want to buy Hitman 1 (New one) should I buy it and download number 2?

you sound like both a liar and a massive faggot

Not at the current discount.
They turned it from an RPG into a looter-shooter.

Are there any recent old school fps that flew under the radar? I had no idea Project Warlock had come out.
Is Immortal Redneck any good?

Attached: sale.jpg (635x521, 56K)

sts is for a buck in xbox game pass pc

ah the discord tranny hall of fame

Wait so you can:

>Hitman 2 Starter Pack FREE
>Hitman 2 GOTY Legacy Pack $7

And it'll work?

lmao

amid evil is great

VC4 is here to taunt me - it have Denuvo and I refuse to play games with Denuvo.

Zanki too expensive.

They're all standalone. Start with RS2, but maybe check the wiki to learn the mechanics as you go.

dunno, 16k points and you get 5 dollar discount. I got it pretty fast, spent the rest of the points on steam profile level, i can now have muliple anime girls on my profile....

i liked witcher, is this good?

Attached: thronebreaker.png (321x149, 129K)

Danganronpa!

Attached: mikan.png (330x330, 92K)

Is path finder any good story wise?

Try it and tell us if it does please

If you liked Gwent, then sure. Because it is literally a Gwent expansion.

Check out AMID EVIL

Already have it on GOG.

You can get the $5 discount multiple times

It's not out yet, but keep an eye on Prodeus. It looks amazing.

Is EVERSPACE good? never heard of this game before

nice, as i said, 16k was pretty easy in stardew valley since you can just skip time until your crops are ready. Can you use 2 discounts on the same product?

the Xbox pass is like PS+ right?

-is over, and good riddance.

its just a subscribtion service, you pay, you get to download 100+ games for free, ps+ gives you only 2 a month

>mhw
the game works solo, the only time randoms will get angry at you is when farming kulve taroth because autism, when you do get to kulve look up strategies and shit to please the farm fags

No need to grind, just launch any game that you have tons of achievements in, idle it for 30 minutes and you get 10-40k points

this is what's actually annoying me the most about this sale.

devil dagger

picked up Battletech, M&B, and Dark Souls remastered bc it was $4. probably going to splurge on Bloodstained with the discount since the next hollow knight has no date still. Any other recommendations for good inexpensive games? I like all sorts of games except for trashy weeb garbage for incels. Been playing a lot of Stellaris, Hat in time, Elite Dangerous lately for example

kingdom come deliverance
absolver
below
cuphead
deaths gambit
desync
sinner sacrifice

Keep? Drop?

game pass and ps+ are entirely different. playstation's equivalent to gamepass is psnow

thanks for finding that reply

>giving money to Mr. Shitface

Aim at your head first.

I saw Hylics on SGDQ and the art looked neat but how is the gameplay/story? I already have a buck on my account.

got

>quake 1 and 2
>condemned
>enter the gungeon
>detention

will probably get more vidya later

Do I really need to do inane shit for points? Why can't it be like before where you just fave shit.

>Octopath is not discounted

Oh. Is Enter the Gungeon and Shantae fun? Is Surviving Mars a good Anno clone or should I just pirate Paradox jews?

there's much worse ways to spend 1 dollar.

Feel like being a total idiot and giving ass ass creed another try, which game is better Origins or Odyssey?

is this one good?

Attached: oxygen.png (319x150, 120K)

you get a fuckload of points for having played a game recently that you have achievements in. you don't even need to do anything but launch games.

>CDN
Yes pull the trigger

so i have 130+ achievements on csgo, will i get lots of points? same for tf2?

Oh? so just launch a game? What about those shit with "do x thing in y game"?

im glad octopath isnt discounted. i recently picked that up for switch used and that would be bad if it was on sale for less

>absolver
drop

Thank you for this blog post.

It's a turn based sci-fi crpg, so far I'm thinking it looks better to me than most of the recent crpg releases.

Too early to tell if it's any good though. Seems to work fine, and nothing glaringly bad so far.

Attached: Screenshot at 2019-06-26 05-44-51.png (1360x768, 722K)

Odyssey, it sucks tho

you brought up octopath

I recommend buying what many consider the greatest VN of all time:

store.steampowered.com/app/658620/Wonderful_Everyday_Down_the_RabbitHole/

Attached: BGI 2019-02-21 23-21-51-15.png (1280x960, 1.06M)

Dugeon Crawler but in space/cyberpunk. It's pretty good but combat gets boring quickly. You'll be using same rotations for pretty much any enemy. If it's not a problem and you like turn based dungeon crawlers grab it. You can always refund it.

store.steampowered.com/app/6200/Ghost_Master/
get this bros, it's my favourite game of all time, I would recommend it to everyone, it's a strategy game where you have to use ghosts to complete missions and scare people

Anybody else?

Is Tokyo Ex worth buying anyway?

Attached: 6a179362dc7da3950bb444d3edb931eb.jpg (600x451, 27K)

Some one recommend me a fan service game (not nep, senran or atelier). Right now I' am leaning towards snk heroine.

will do
multiplayer dead or just not good?

Recently found this, and it's surprisingly fun. It feels kinda barebones, but barely any games attempt real time dungeon crawling with hidden walls and exploration anymore. Temper your expectations and you'll have a good time.
store.steampowered.com/app/868060/Immortal_Darkness_Curse_of_The_Pale_King/

thanks bros, might get it

Thoughts? Only grabbed watchdogs because of last thread, kinda feeling like an average open world game.

Tempted to add in/ swap out something for gungeon desu

Attached: rate.png (629x520, 98K)

get nier automata

>jpn interface not available
Why do they do this when audio is in Japanese?

Sleeping Dogs is much better than Watch Dogs

gungeon is free on the epic store
gunslinger is great, WD2 is really fun
what are your thoughts on night in the woods? i was considering getting it

Isnt PC nier automata shit

I'm getting on what I was planning on getting even without the sale.

Attached: 145035815081.png (349x247, 86K)

Having a lot of points doesn't do anything. If they go over your cap they will be removed in 6 hours.

What should I get if I want to experience some kino vidya moments and experiences?

>buy rust
>game is shit, refund
>buy squad
>cant get audio to work (guess my 2 year old headphones are too dated)
>refund
now what Yea Forums?

Is this review accurate? I assume one of you guys wrote it

steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198088137298/recommended/658620/

Not him but NitW is great if you're the type of person it's made for. If you can relate to the main character, that is an early 20s dropout who comes off like an asshole despite not wanting to and who can't connect with others, then it'll hit you. If not, you'll have to reconcile the fact that she acts like a fucking cunt very often.

>cant get audio to work (guess my 2 year old headphones are too dated)
i don't think that how audio work user.

Already played and finished, I belive you for sure

Maybe I should both to get epic store then. Night in the woods is pretty good, comfy is a good word to describe it. I got like, 3/4 of the way through before forgetting about it for a while but I'd rate it pretty good if you like those kinds of games

see if this works

You only need a dll file to fix the resolution bug and that's it.

recommend me games based off of this image

rust gets fun around 100 hour mark

both

Hideaki Itsuno helped with DMC reboot near the end, that makes darksiders 2 the best western charater action game. Go for it.

My recc games:
South park stick of truth (not sequel)
Dark souls 3 + DLC
Enter the gungeon
Binding of isaac
Rocket League
Bioshock 1+2
Alan wake

cunny quest iii

Grimoire : Heralds of the Winged Exemplar on sale. Making characters why can i pump leftover points into my stats sometimes?

Get Far Cry 5 instead of Watch Dogs 2. It has 11/10 music and is generally pretty comfy if you want to switch off and do open world stuff. It's my favourite in the series.

youtube.com/watch?v=6qIjHtI3kGU&feature=youtu.be&t=90
youtube.com/watch?v=-aSlgiXNJVk

apparently it is since squad's mic system is more sophisticated than most games. It's either the headphones or windows 7 causing the issue.

This is the video game equivalent of wading through 200 episodes of a terrible anime to get to the best part

Does rust have any other game modes? I'm not a fan of the open world survival crafting bullshit where player interactivity is the only content.

>Killer 7
Psychonauts (the only non suda51 game I can think of)
>GTA III
Sleeping Dogs
>Bloodborne
Sekiro
>System Shock 2
Deus Ex

It's probably windows 7 or try to update your drivers.

I would've said "something explorative but not quite open world" but you just had to throw GTA3 in there like a fucking weirdo

and by the time you reach it you can not quit so you might as well watch the other 20 seasons
nah mate, if you don't enjoy the loop of player interaction, this is not for you at all

I realised that sales being shit is actually happening elsewhere too. I've read an article recently about clothes brands starting to refuse to participate in sales to remind people of the real cost of things.

far cry and crysis series?

I played through the main story (Endings A-E) with far mod and got zero crashes. Only downside is in-game cutscenes are 30fps which look horrible and some areas in the game drop to 30 fps even though my counter says I am at a constant 60 fps.

Guys, what was that game that came out last year, that was kind of like dark souls, except it had more of an "indie" vibe, and you could climb?

None of the games I want are on sale. The ones that are have been the same price every sale. Basically there is no Steam sale for me.

>pay
>for free

Uhhhhhhhh Ashen? Not sure about the climbing part.

well i fucked up you are right

Pirated it and played it for a while, finished one region and got halfway through the others. Was nice tho

Soundtrack is great agreed
youtube.com/watch?v=2RjcSAaUzbI

It was Ashen. Thanks user.

far cry 3 4 5, not the others

Fuck, Ashen isn't even out on steam. This sucks.

Also, play La-Mulana. It's only 5 bucks.

is any of the call of duty's worth it?
or any arcadey fps that isn't dead
fuck milsim and tacticalfags for ruining the genre with their crap

Mmm I'm not sure...

I'd drop Darkest Dungeon. Just not fun after a few hours.

Rain world is a game for masochistic autists, with a high skill level. If you're not ALL three, then take it off the list.

I bought hitman goty and apparently I can play it in hitman 2. So which version do I play? The OG or the second?

Play OG in Hitman 2

I bought the base game for 10 bucks in retail. I use mods for an alternative and roleplay as NCR Ranger who was send to investigate the commonwealth. It is decent enough but certainly not as good as New Vegas.

Play it in Hitman 2 since that game has some quality of life fixes over 1.

The Witness. It's a puzzle game, but still pretty comfy to explore. Nice graphical style, and small rewarding puzzles.

Don't know about him, but for me Starcrawlers turned out to be a hidden gem. Some of the mechanics lack tuning but its as a whole solid and every class feels distinctive.

Unironically recommended Arma 3. The devs have just BTFOd the milsim community by ignoring all their demands and releasing a literal ayy lmao dlc.

Wanna get into Total War series. Which one should i buy first?

Recommended input device?

>ARMA 3
Dat game is peak autism nigga. Nothing arcadey about it.

I wonder what made them do that

Good. The only thing I dislike is turn based combat over real time.
But I know some people hated Grimrock for the real time combat, so to each their own.

i have no idea how the fuck to get the $5 off, ive bought $20 worth of games

They did it already. Like six years ago.

Medieval 2 and Shogun 2 are generally highly regarded. Both have a number of solid features which make them worth getting.
Warhammer is for people who don't like total war games
Personal favourite is Empire because having British guys mowing down waves of enemies by rank fire from America to India is timeless.

system shock 2

The only game I want to buy is Koikatsu and it's not on sale.

At least they cheap.

If you can only get one, then the first. The second is arguably better but y'know, experience them in order.

3D Saturn Pad.

if you don't care about graphics:
rome 1 or medievil 2

else:

shogun 2
warhammer (if you like fantasy)

Is Two Point really good?

Attached: cart r8.png (619x785, 182K)

You can turn enemy precision really low but keep tactics high. You can also check reduced damage for yourself. I play this way for the power trip, feel like a navy seal.

What about Thrones of Britannia? It has no DLCs unlike Shogun

>You'll be using same rotations for pretty much any enemy.
Respeccing characters is dirt cheap and you only get 5 active skill slots while it is possible to unlock every skill in each tree later on. And if you don't play on normal it is advantageous to switch skills (and rotations).

Psychonauts is broken on PC.

>Walking simulator game
>Walking simulator game
>Another fucking walking game
Jesus Christ kill yourself.

so uh what's this milsim thing

It's like Attila-lite, more of a spin-off than a game. It has no dlc, sure, but it's based on one of the poorest recent TW games.
You can get by without dlc anyway.

Does the game have singleplayer?

Ditch tyrany and swap divinity os for the sequel

If you played theme hospital and liked it yes, if not give it a look, you might like it.

>darkest dungeon
do it fagot

Attached: aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.jpg (637x226, 33K)

It's basically 1/3 of Attila

Should have been a DLC for Attila

Bioshock 1, if you never played a Bioshock before.

Bioshock 2, if you're already familiar, and are just in it for the feel of the game.

Bioshock infinite, if you want to hang out with your waifu.

Some of the less typical recommendations.

Attached: img.png (374x385, 150K)

Need VR recommendations. Would like some Cornhole/bowling basic party games for GF, then some more serious games that I can play.

I've never played survival-horror gayems before. The Evil Within + Season pass yay or nay?

Under 5E:
>Batman arkham knight
>Dead space 2
>Deus ex:Mankind divided
>Mad max

Which one?Recommend other 5E.

I have 0 motivation to play single player game as an old fag, it's all the same.

Any recommendation of multiplayer games that are worth buying and having an alive userbase?

Don't listen to him. Psychonauts works fine on PC. I don't know what the fuck he's talking about.

Not him but are dlcs good? Most of them had mixed reviews iirc

How about Dead Space

way better than csgo, gtav, tf2, and all the other shit that's been in the steam top sellers for years

I have the urge to play a jrpg

recommend me one

Attached: pokedab.jpg (536x782, 65K)

man i didn't think people outside of game journalists actually played that shit

The House of the Dying Sun

Yeah. Main campaign is pretty fun. Set in the future. You play as some Yank who is part of a task force which gets betrayed by some dictator in not-Greece. First half of the game is guerilla warfare until becoming part of a larger force.
I mainly use some workshop missions which randomly generate new missions every time you play them. Is good fun.
The dlc adds more single player stuff too. Apex adds some spec ops shit, suppose to be coop but scales down for solo. Laws of war has you playing some mine disposable expert, and is probably the best campaign. Tac-ops adds a bunch of short missions which are okay, and only really worth the sale price.

I need recommendations for games that are considered as the essential PC games, or "PC gaming canon". I've played through Deus Ex, System Shock, Thief, Baldur's Gate, and X-COM series. I really like first person role playing "simulation" style games such as Deus Ex, but X-COM also gave me the itch for micro management and strategy.

Attached: deus alex.jpg (900x1066, 220K)

Tales of Vesperia/Berseria
FFX

Get Resident Evil 4
One of the best games ever made, no bullshit. It's cheap too.

So this is my 1st and only playthrough, i also installed the DLCs. Crimson Court is good, a lot of more shit to do, but it will also make the game a bit harder. Color of Madness is fun i guess, but mostly a grindfest. You farm some crystals - a few trinkets you can buy with them are good though. The Shieldbreaker is fucking awesome, probably one of my favorite champions. Definitely get that

Also R8 MY CART. I only played dark souls of from these

Attached: r8.png (621x823, 193K)

It's a generic 3rd person shooter. Get the first REmake instead.

Just add Deus Ex, Doom, Metro, and maybe an autism simulator like Cities:Skylines to this:

>Tales of Vesperia/Berseria

do you play as a male or female in these?

>>Mad max
>Which one?Recommend other 5E.
I had the most fun playing it out of these four.

Late reply, but I played the Vita version. Lots of ecchi shit, like the name implies, which is really the only draw of the game. Combat is extremely easy, you can auto-attack your way through almost every fight, including bosses.

>is any of the call of duty's worth it?
Unironical CoD lover here. They're hit & miss depending on how much cash you have or if you're into SP or MP

For SP I recommend
>CoD 2
>MW 1 & 2
>WaW
>Black Ops 1 & 2
>Infinite Warfare

For MP just get WWII. The community usually abandons the older games in favor for the new one.

Keep in mind the sp campaigns of each CoD last 5-7 hours

>Dark Souls Remastered is 90% off
Holy shit, should I get it? Reshade looks like crap on the original.

this

Attached: thumb5.jpg (410x615, 198K)

I only played Berseria but you can switch between the party members whenever you like.
MC is a female though.
Vesperia is probably the same but MC is a dude.

>nekojishi is on sale

Any other good puzzle games I should add?

Attached: OPhAIjP.png (642x437, 87K)

Baba is You

Yeah I liked TH. I was told it's barebones compared to TH tho?

So, RE1 or RE4 then?

La-Mulana. PLEASE GOD. It's so cheap right now. Yes, it's a fully fledged puzzle game. It just has platforming and fighting too. But the puzzles are legit as fuck.

Oh, and also Baba Is You.

Yep, good shit.

when did this become seemingly a trend

Talos Principle is good and if you are not brainlet you can try

I get it that it's hard and alot to learn, but can I can play through it without resorting to a guide or is it too much autismo to do so?

Attached: 1561549664302.jpg (2480x1418, 518K)

REmake if you're into survival horrors
RE4 if you're into action horror

i mean it's 4 euro, might as well..doubt i will play again soon but fuck it

Get resident evil 1, 0 or cold fear. Resident evil 1 is by far the best but it can set the bar a bit high. Also theres resident evil 2 but thats a bit more expensive

RE4 is a better game, but RE1 is spookier. I think RE4 should take priority personally.

if you have the 90% deal then might as well. keep in mind it's just the exact same game and actually looks worse than dsfix. but at least the multiplayer is "functional" even though they gimped all the original mechanics to appease das3 trannies

Talos Principle

If you like cute, relaxing ones, consider
>Divide by Sheep
>A Good Snowman Is Hard To Build
>Snakebird (not on sale though)

Glass Masquerade is a comfy puzzle game.

Attached: Annotation 2019-06-26 082051.png (632x861, 160K)

will some games get cheaper towards end of the sale? Like 20% off now 30% on july 9?
Interested in DMC V.

I should add that by switching party members you can also run around the world as different characters, not just in combat. But it won't affect the story or dialogues during exploration, just the character skin.

Attached: 1541720898273.jpg (2000x2520, 367K)

Just pirate it.

crash n sane trilogy? only played 3 on ps one

no

the physics are fucked in that game

How does it look worse? I hate the look of bloom from games of that time period and the new bump mapping also looks nice.

What can happen is that games that are on sale right now get pulled from the sale before the event ends. Games getting deeper discounts wont happen.

Yes, the physics are fine. Some people complain because all three control as smoothly as 3 (1 was way clunkier and nostalgiafriends can't rely on muscle memory as much), but it's a great package. I maxed out my save file on each of them in a week of nonstop playing.

Just play the original ps1 games.

>hard
>guide
user, it is squad based game, don't be idiot and do not start alone (3-5 people starts are best) and do not farm copper like idiots do. Basically pick your squad and then go venture into whatever, you will be beaten but not dead, that's how it works, your guys will gain experience, keep upgrading equipment and keep exploring. Base building is left for later when you know what you are doing and you should treat your base as FOB not permanent addiction i.e. you return from exploration, restock food, craft something new, research something new and then back into exploration.

People playing this are just parroting Yea Forums. They're a big step up from the originals.

lighting is fucked, and you can change the bloom settings with dsfix. also can turn off the disgusting dof which you can't do in the remaster

Make sure to give a try at Stalker games. The atmosphere is 10/10

Attached: 20190620195834_1.jpg (1920x1080, 341K)

lmgtfy is old as fuck, people were doing that in 2011. I havent seen it in ages.

ok which of these games lets the character shout the name of the attack during the animation?

So Vesperia has classic dungeon like Symphonia right?

I played Berseria and while the there was a lot of details put into the story and VA, the level design was atrocious, no puzzle just empty field with enemies to grind.

Attached: lloyd.jpg (559x566, 84K)

Is Asscreed Origins good? How's the open world, is it interesting to explore? Is """rpg""" stuff annoying grindfest or is it decent?

Check out some game play on youtube and decide if you agree with that.

>Don't go alone.
Solo skeleton here, who farmed copper untill he could buy one repair kit and has been roaming around collecting pelts and scavange, it's not that bad. I recommend hive villages, beak things tend to raid them and die there, you can help kill then and sell their pelts.

then why is XCOM2 there
not that I think it's bad, it's fucking great

give me your best software reccs off this sale

It's been like two years since I played Berseria and I still remember LETHAL PAIN chant word for word.

does buying remastered mean you cant play prepare to die anymore? Or is it just that you cant buy it on steam anymore if you dont have it?

Insurgency has shit optimization so make sure you have a beefy rig to play it.
Squad is autism and LARPing galore.
RS2 strikes perfect balance between realism and arcade.
Didn't like Vermintide 2. Got bored of the combat and refunded.
Can't comment on the last 2.

Should I get the Hitman collection? Loved 2 and Blood Money and I've heard good things about the episodes.
Also, is Just Cause 3 worth 3 european dollars?
And last but not least: Bayonetta or Baba is you? Baba is just 30% off and will probably go lower in the future, but it's a good game and the dev deserves money.

Try E.Y.E. Very clunky, likely very cheap, but if you can get past some of the madness, you'll get a kick out of it.

What are some excellent game experiences that are short? Say, under 6 hours. Too many games are bloated with content padders that are really just busy work to extend game time.
>I'm looking at you, Ubisoft
Don't care if it's excellent due to story, atmosphere, or just a solid gameplay experience.
Please, no roguelikes or other "individual sessions are short but they are intended to be played over and over" style games.
I'm looking for hand crafted experiences, not a pile of procedurally generated content.

Was about to ask this. Looks colorful as fuck but I'm scared to pull the trigger.

If you're more of a LARPing milsim guy get Squad. The maps are quite big and engagement is slower. If you want more of a faster paced old-skool Battlefield experience get RS2.
>My only fear with vietnam is that its kinda dead
It isn't. There are always full servers up to join even during work hours.

I really enjoyed Zeno Clash. 2 is better, but 1 is short (3-4 hours). They're first person melee brawlers set in a weird fantasy world. It has mad max vibes but gets crazier. I don't want to spoil anything for you but it's a wild ride from start to finish.

Still remember a lot of chants though not word-for-word unlike Velvet's. Probably since I played through majority of the game as her.

Katana Zero is amazing. I'm sure you'd like it.

what game?
I just want to finish the series. I've played a few of them. Shadows of war is 27$ in Australia

As a big fan of platinum games, you would be right on Metal Gear Rising. Unfortunately I've already completed that one multiple times.
I have been meaning to give undertale a try. Have played all the rest and I agree they are solid gameplay experiences.
I actually really enjoy those abstract bizzare point-and-click / walking simulators. Unfortunately, I have already played all of these via past sales.
Zeno Clash was excellent and wonderfully weird caveman punk. I have actually played through about half of 2 and enjoyed some of the gameplay improvements come on so maybe that's worth finishing.
This one is actually new to me. I'll check it out, though I think I have heard Yea Forums memeing about it. Probably people just upset it was short.

Attached: 1538056724732.png (652x552, 167K)

Amid Evil

yea i noticed that it's pretty great

What can you recommend me for 12 cents anons? Only interesting thing i saw so far is left 4 dead 1.

Hat in Time caught my eye, y/n?

>for 12 cents anons
the poorest guy on earth

Thirty fucking pounds is a shit deal, sorry IOI but I'm getting the standard edition.

Gold dud, you get more missions and cool stuff

Not my thing but I've heard it's a great platformer from people who are into the genre.

It's really good.

peck

Both

I need help cutting this cart down.

Which one of these to play first?
Dark devotion
Katana Zero
Cryptark
Timespinner
The Messenger

Which one after playing Breath of the Wild?
Assassin's Creed Odyssey
Watch Dogs 2

Which one to keep?
Valkyria 4
I am Setsuna
X-Morph

is there a limit to how many 5 dollar discounts you can get?

Attached: 1558043135719.png (826x1166, 660K)

£12 WORTH OF COOL STUFF?

Civ 5 was a featureless mess compared to Civ 4 when it first came out. Since then the expansions have helped flesh out the game into something much more complex.
I imagine Civ 6 will be the same. Give it a couple expansions before you buy in, if the past is at all indicative of the future for the game.

I have actually less than 12 cents. I think in murican dollars is like half a cent (i buy in pesos)

I'll finally play this. Hope it's as good as i've heard.

Picked up Rust for $8.75 last night.
Is there a Yea Forums recommended/run server?

How is Sleeping Dogs compared to GTA games?

Attached: Screenshot_1.png (611x502, 94K)

I wanted to buy dark devoition but apparently it has a glitch where controllers stop working after the first floor. Check if thats fixed. Watch dogs 2 and assassin's creed odyssey requires uplay if you care.

I mean 12 cents user, not 12 euros. I fucking wish i was that rich tho.

Brigador is pretty good, not sure id pay that much for it tho

cut out Setsuna and Valk4, not worth it for those prices

>guy in this thread posts MY EXACT CART of six games but in american dollars
>i know its not mine because i live in britain

any other girls think this is weird?

Attached: 1547519081840.png (963x720, 602K)

Thanks. I've had no problem with using Uplay so far. I have FC5 and AC4 on it.

I still return to play civ4+BTS on my work laptop when on the road. Such a good game.

tf2 quests aren't even working

>buying beamdog shit

Had a lot of fun with those games as a kid friend. Might be a little dated by now though, really can't say since I haven't played them in over a decade.
Like any classic, don't judge the interfacebtoo harshly and you should enjoy it.

Sleeping dogs city isn't as "alive" or fun to explore as gta. It has a bunch of minigames like yakuza but not as many. Story is really good. Gunplay is similar to gta but the melee combat is much better. For $3 it is worth it in my opinion.

its pretty fun, but nowhere near GTA standarts

game takes it self more serious than gta
less shits and giggles activities

Alright. I stuck in Setsuna since it's the lowest I've seen it.

>Checking my wishlist
>Discounted games cost MORE than the Cyberpunk preorder
I like how quite a few publishers just stopped giving a fuck about regional pricing.
It's a fun GTA-clone set in HongKong focused on melee combat instead of shooting (there's some and mostly late in the story).
Story feels rushed and cut though, as if there's a lot of invisible timeskips and you just have to accept why certain characters act certain way.

Is Outward a good game where you just "fuck off" to do your own thing and is the darkness on the level of STALKER's where I have to have a light source with me if I want to travel at night?

Recently my uplay account got a successful login from Singapore so I deleted it. I only had far cry 3 on it so I didn't care.

>Free Hitman 2
>Goty Legacy for $7
>Basically Hitman 1 for $7

good deal?

More compact than GTA but a very solid package.

better than the modern ones

At the same time? I haven't tested it myself but apparently the seventh one tends to vanish

It's pretty fun like gta too, i think it's more Immersive than gta but the map it's a lil bit smaller. Highly recommended.

Don't get the extra shit, they're not worth it.

If you bought every game you actually played more then 5 hours at full price you would spend less then you've spent amassing your collections of untouched games during sales and promotions right now.

Baldur's Gate suffers, if anything, from how contrived D&D 2 ed. was. That said, unlike most of the other isometric D&D games Baldur's gate definitely has interactions between spells for example that make sense even as bizarre as they might be

Yes, but the download for hitman 2 is 100gb

None really. You cant use weapons but you can use vehicles as passengers.
Must haves just for sake of ease is probably helicopters and marksman. Apex if you have the cash since half of the servers are on apex maps with apex content.

who else here bought kenshi?

Rate my cart. I need to purge some shit still to get down to 20€

Attached: cart.png (611x665, 137K)

>100gb
oh dear

muh SSD can't handle that

4 was the peak for the Civ series imo. 5 isn't terrible, but i really loved 4.

Help me Yea Forums are the darkest dungeon DLCs worth it? I have the base game that I haven't played in a year because being too busy. I found it to a bit grindy. Is it worth it to get back into the game with the DLCs?

Based Kagura games

uniornically all good

>Yes, but the download for hitman 2 is 100gb

Enjoy Siege on Drag Queen Spear.

I have never had an interest in playing DOOM 2016 but this week I have felt like trying it out.
Is it worth it at -25% or has it been cheaper than that before?

Can you come to Italy?

scroll to the bottom of the quests section, the completed shit shows up there.

Is Dark Souls Remastered worth the $24?

I'm waiting until it's 10 eurobucks

Rena is amazing. Check out the demo, it has all of world 1. You'll know within the first few seconds if it's your kind of game, the controls felt instantly comfortable to me. Simply moving around is a ton of fun.

>Free Hitman 2

Fuck, what did I miss? It's only 60% off for me.

Voidspire Tactics is incredible
It's like FFT meets divinity OS2 meets an SNES era JRPG

Isn't Dragon Cliff just an idle game?

last two sales it was for 15€

london

The base Hitman 2 with the first mission is always free and you can buy the legacy pack with all the H1 content without owning the full H2.

Probably time for a new Sale thread.

drop zero ranger and one finger death punch for now if you really need to make it down to 20, but they're all really good games.

call of juarez gunslinger is breddy fun.

>not buying every Danganronpa as a bundle
bruhh

Two Point Hospital or Cities Skylines?

you can still play prepare to die

Is the base game alone sufficient?

Guys help me decide
>Darksiders Franchise Collection at $29
Or
>Dark Souls Remastered + Vermintide II at $34

Not my fault activision are jews who don't discount decade+ old games

Opus Magnum is fun.

Gameplay: Two Point
Making pretty things: Skylines

Thanks for a genuine reply. I didn't even realise there is a demo for Rena.
