>all of the full VR games are psvr only
>pc is only left with pure kusoge, tech demos and 2 hour "experiences"
Good thing I only bought a wmr headset. Id be on suicide watch if I spent a lot $500+ on a glorified porn monitor

>PSVR isn't real VR because it's relatively cheap, accessable, and easy to use
okay buddy

Attached: c8bfdb350be3f9ae839625141ef77e04.png (500x703, 701K)

I'd be on suicide watch if I spent 200 bucks on something with garbage tracking, when a Vive is sub 400 bucks.

>all of the full VR games are psvr only
Can you call them full games?

>garbage tracking
I haven't experienced that honestly
It works just fine for me but I won't say it doesn't exist for other people

Borderlands 2 VR is a full game, and is psvr only
And it's not even a new game

What full VR games are there on PSVR?

Firewall Zero Hour? Onward, Pavlov and Contractors do VR shooters better
Gran Turismo? There are a dozen PC racing games with VR support
Ace Combat? Only a few missions are VR. VTOL VR has more stuff to do and I haven't even touched on real flight sims like X-place, DCS and other having VR support

The only game I can think of is Astrobot and Resident Evil 7, but if you count games that don't make use of hand presence and are just controlled with the dualshock PC gets dozens on top too.

Attached: pavlov2.webm (854x480, 2.56M)

garbage tracking might be due to things like not having the camera at eye level or having it be too close to you

fucking quest isn't real VR

he is a quest shill

I have a Lenovo explorer, and it has cameras on the side of the headset so it doesn't need towers or whatever
So as long as the room is lit it works fine to me
I haven't used other headsets so I don't have anything to compare it to so it might be garbage and I might just be ignorant

Sony can't keep up

>not real VR
>does everything a PC VR headset does including 6 DoF, accurate tracking and roomscale

cope

Attached: apexconstruct1-quest.webm (800x800, 2.99M)

good to know

Attached: michael-cera-7.jpg (300x300, 14K)

>psvr has the best vr games
>its not real vr hurr durr vr chat anime roleplay with fat dues in real life

Yeah ok

I was about to laugh at you, but Defector seems like it could actually be half-decent, if it's basically just I expect you to die but with more paths and combat.

The rest of that list is absolute garbage though, Facebook fund the worst shit they can find.

God I want to bury my face in his pits.

>the 30 hour RPG is garbage
>the space station puzzle is garbage
>the open world robot co-op shooter is garbage
>the shooting gallery game could be half decent
spotted the brainlet

which PSVR games are good that aren't on PC?

store.playstation.com/en-us/grid/STORE-MSF77008-PSVRPOPULARG/1
the only notable games here are
firewall (which onward, pavlov and contractors do better)
gran turismo and driveclub (better racing games exist on PC with non-gimped versions)
borderlands 2 VR is coming to PC

got gorn during this sale
immediately smashed my hand into the wall while playing

did my eyes betray me, or did you forget to turn off the auxiliary power user

>roomscale
270° is not roomscale

What makes you think Quest is only 270°?

Attached: roborecall-quest.webm (800x800, 2.98M)

the fact that it's only 270°?

Which one Yea Forums?

Attached: 1555670568931.jpg (4813x4255, 3.69M)

You did see me turning around fully without snap turning in that webm?

educate yourself

Attached: pavlov-quest.webm (800x800, 2.75M)

no

why do quest niggas even think their mobile phone counts as VR?

With all the steam VR games not on Playstaton and dozens of racing, flight and space sims with VR support it's not even a competition

Attached: oof.jpg (5043x4697, 3.26M)

How is it not VR? Sure the graphics are downgraded but the tracking is flawless

Attached: vaderimmortal-climbing.webm (800x800, 2.95M)

>a processor that is overclocked and fan cooled performs better than when its stuck in a 5mm thin phone case with no cooling solution
woah user

Attached: questcooling.png (1024x558, 235K)

Original 270° poster, I thought he was talking about psvr not quest. Quest is real VR far more then psvr

You're half-right, I was expecting way too much because I just skipped through the Defector trailer. Giving it a full watch, it's obvious that it's all a pure cinematic experience with zero player choice, which is exceptionally lazy for a game set on a couple of fucking aeroplanes.

So yeah, it's all garbage. My fault for jumping to conclusions.

TrackIR is better
Fuck VR

Because they spent 500 bucks on it so they think they're one of the big boys now.

can quest niggas go cope somewhere else?

This looks like such a bland, lazy set-piece. Sure, it's slightly more engaging that Uncharted, but it's the same shit.

Vader Immortal is a tech demo, I can't deny that.
It does have player choice and uses free locomotion unlike Blood and Truth on PSVR

I bought a fully wireless, roomscale VR headset for 400$, why should I cope about anything?

Attached: roborecall-juggle.webm (800x800, 2.93M)

DCS in VR would be the best shit ever if I weren't still using a vive and the resolution were better.

Attached: 1536678874745.webm (970x1080, 2.93M)

I don't enjoy VR games that you can't control without touch controllers but you do you user

Attached: ultrawings-race.webm (800x800, 2.94M)

I mean, you need a HOTAS or something to control the cyclic and collective, but every button, switch, and dial in the cockpit can be interacted with using touch controllers. That's part of what makes it so cool. Though it is admittedly a bit awkward switching between controllers and hotas.

I found controlling the joystick in VTOL and Ultrawings with the touch controllers perfectly adequate, I hope more actual sims integrate that.

what minimum specs should my pc have for VR?

It depends, generally I think a gtx 970 and appropriated CPU are the minimum suggested requirements. Check the games you're interested in and see what their requirements are.

gtx 1080 and a decent processor

These are the only games where VR works because you sit still in-game too

I just ordered my Rift S cause a lot of reviews and reviewers said it's a good headset to get started with, it's less expensive than the Vive, better graphics as well.
I'm not gunna be disappointed, right?

Attached: 11.30.41.png (434x424, 180K)

I've got a regular Rift, which I upgraded to from PSVR, and I'm honestly thinking about upgrading to a Rift S. The inside out tracking means that i won't have a bunch of fucking sensors cluttering up my room, the lessened godrays and SDE seem like a nice step up, and from my experience with the PSVR, the halo style headband is way more comfortable than the straps the original Rift uses.

youtube.com/watch?v=p5CsGK2uJak

I was watching this and these guys said that if you have the original Rift and are thinking about getting the S, well it's not really an upgrade. The S does things better but also some things worse.

don't you mean augmented reality ?

Stupid CHAD playing VR while driving, doesn't he know he might hit someone with his CAR and go to JAIL? I guess all CHADS need a VIRGIN NERD to take care of them since they obviously CAN'T. I can't wait for my CHAD to innocently ask for me to help with his life. I also get to FUCK CHAD'S big bubble butt since we all know CHADS are BOTTOMS.

>playing flight games without a joystick
literally kys

it is a sidegrade

Switching between controller input and flightstick is retarded tho

Attached: vtol1.webm (1280x720, 2.59M)

Vive comes in today plz recommend games. Need games GF can enjoy (party shit like bowling/Cornhole) and more serious games for me. Was thinking of starting with super hot and pavlov

>Need games GF can enjoy
>GF
leave this place right now

This is Yea Forums not /r9k/, fuck off fag

There's some free (or at least really cheap) carnival game simulators on there, iirc.

this, incels should kill themselves

i want to fuck quill

Attached: quest-moss-quill.webm (800x800, 2.98M)

whats the cheapest VR i can get?

Quest if you have no PC
some WMR headset if you do

Attached: quest-moss-toad.webm (800x800, 2.94M)

Maybe a used rift?

How do you guys deal with condensation/sweat fogging up the lenses? Any does anyone else's eyes water when playing VR for more than a few minutes?

play in a better ventilated room
loose weight and sweat less

Flight game recommendations?

You can get a refurbished low-end WMR device (like Acer's or Dell's) for $170, though unfortunately they require Windows 10. The cheapest "premium" headsets are the Samsung Odyssey+ and original Oculus Rift, which cost about $250 refurbished or $300 new.

I strongly suspect Oculus will do a discount of the Rift S for the holiday season (the $400 launch price screams "enthusiast tax"), but as older headsets are being discontinued, you may not want to wait.

>Friendly reminder PSVR is not real VR
why not? I'd argue that these headsets aren't real vr but thats just where we are right now.

>900 dollars

HTC, please

Attached: HTC_Vive_Cosmos_newdesign_image1.png (1088x667, 795K)

VR is a meme gimmick fad that is already over.
