Is Deadly Premonition on Steam? If so, I’d recommend that. I played it on release for my Xbox 360 and loved it. A great blend of weird, horror, and indie.

Check out Lost In Vivo. Short horror FPS inspired by Silent Hill. Not the deepest story, but really freaked me out a couple of times.

If you haven't played "The Cat Lady" that's a good horror game. I wouldn't call it scary, but it's very well made although it can be really boring at times.

Yeah, I don't think your wrong about Lost In Vivo being kinda low brow, but it's hard to find anything that's worth playing in the mountains of garbage horror games. There's good horror games, but it's hard to find good indie horror games

It's not really scary, but Prototype Mansion is a fun little RE1 homage. Hasn't been discounted for the sale though.
