Why does everyone hate the designs of the dragons in Spyro Reignited?

Explain.

I really like the dragon designs, it's some of the enemies that I don't really like, I guess they didn't really line up with the things I imagined from the simple low poly models from the original games.

In a non-degenerate way most of them are pretty great simply because of the amount of personality each design gives to them. I especially like the one in Peacekeepers with the eye patch. He looks like he has seen some shit over the years.

From an artistic standpoint, most of them completely ignore the more subtle differences in species in favor of heavy overexaggeration and slapping random accessories on each dragon to make them as unique as possible. That being said, they do fit with the design of the remakes, it's just that the remakes themselves are fucking ugly compared to the original games.
From a furfag standpoint, some of the dragons make my dick hard because I am a shameful vorefag and I want Magnus to either sit on my face or devour me. This does not mean I like the remakes themselves, but it does mean I really fuckin' apprecate what porn drawfags do with it.

Nigger, one of the neatest things about the dragons in PS1 Spyro was that each homeworld had a different "dominant" species assigned to it. The limitation comes in with the fact that each individual member of that species was more or less a shit recolor of eachother. All the remake had to do was go for more subdued differences instead of slapping on a bunch of retarded overblown accessories.

I get that people don't want to see any references to the Legend series in the next game but you can't deny that the poison, shadow, and fear elements from Dawn of the Dragon were pretty cool. I keep seeing people say that we should get some more elemental breaths for the next game but why not include these as well. All they would have to do is not devolve into tedious combat the Legend series is known for and give the elements different applications for taking out enemies and exploring.

Some of them look okay, mainly the ones that were designed by that Nicholas Kole guy who redesigned Spyro. The rest look positively fucking amateur or just ugly, in particular I'm thinking of the original Nestor design that got repurposed into the dragon in Dark Hollow and the dragon in Toasty. To answer your second question, go on Artstation and search "Spyro reignited" and look how many profiles pop up with shit from the game, and particularly notice how each one only did like 3 characters.

Insomniac pretty much found a perfect fix to LOD that removed any need for fog allowing them to use fog as an aesthetic choice and not because of limitations. The remakes have heaps of unnecessary fog in them since they aren't using the same techniques making it seem lazier than the PS1 games.

I don't hate them the only think I hate is exclusivity nonsense. The year gap between the console release and the PC release was completely unnecessary.

I mean, it would've been nice. Like 3 of the "Thank you for releasing me!" dragons got additional lines, the rest are just as useless and basically unmemorable as they've always been. They could've replaced at least a few with girls. If this had been an actual remake they could've added like 20 to bring the total up to an even 100.
