I always thought the Idea of Making a balanced fighting game and having Saitama be the strongest by far would be a fun idea.
Its not like say, Brawl Meta Knight, who was just broken because the game only benefitted him out of the whole cast

The only hurdle you'd need to overcome is Saitama himself.
I think you can risk making him overpowered in a balanced cast.

MHA makes sense as a fighter actually. You dont see a lot of grunt enemies in the manga, outside of the current arc. Most fights are hero versus big bad.

Maybe they'll pull a DBFZ where theres some plot device that makes all the characters weaker

A OPM game should've been like Dead Rising. You play as anyone but Saitama, with events happening in the world set on a timer, except the timer isn't towards failure but just Saitama arriving and anticlimactically ending shit without you learning about or interacting with it.

I dont remember the exact equation I used, but I did some calculations a while back and determined the approximate kinetic energy generated by OPM when he jumped from the moon came out to roughly a 12 megaton explosion equivalent

Saitama has really been sidelined. So far he's thrown like 2 real punches at monsters, and they were off screen punches.
It's a lot more world building and focusing on the side characters, which is honestly getting a little boring imo

He is just a human without any physical limits. He has all the physical attributes and abilities of a normal human x infinity.

Psychic and mind effecting abilities do not work on him because his mind is too tough. As in literally, his brain is physically way too hard to manipulate.

First person WarioWare style One Punch game that's just King and Saitama fucking around with video games in his apartment while ignoring calls from the Hero Society. When not playing the game portion the player can walk around as Saitama, water his plants, listen to ambient city noises, watch Genos murder monsters in the street, flip television channels to look at the news, have conversations with apartment visitors like Tatsumaki and Bang, or go to the toilet. Basically, like Travis' apartment in No More Heroes 1 but with a suite of video games by Saitama's television.

Start from the beginning. The power scaling is done properly in the comic, opposed to Murata's rule of cool way at giving everyone's abilities a buff. It has much less filler-feeling chapters as well.

Alright. The writing is consistently good, since it's the same source material as before, but the sound design, pacing, and animation fluctuate depending on the episode

Not if they gave us interesting villains that used techs to deal with us, since we still wouldn't be at current level Saitama speed to just blitz them. I'm talking about the game being hard but becoming more manageable by the end, then the last mission or so ends up feeling like Persona 5 when you send out the calling card, just you rushing to the finish line and blowing everyone away in style.

bnha, klk, and this are some of the more recent ones
dbz and naruto don't really fit because they've had fighting games going on for ages, while comparing them to smash would be a pretty bad comparison they're more-or-less a franchise of their own and aren't just some lazy mild fanservice bait that they've been as of late
the jojo fighting games seem somewhat similar except they've got soul

for the opposite end I think attack on titan got an actual game some years ago that I think had you playing through the actual story
I've never cared about it at all so I don't actuall yknow if the game is any good but it's not a mediocre game where they just have the titans punch each other so it's got that going for it

Jojo All Star's battle really IS the only good arena fighter. But that's because it's not REALLY an arena fighter. I'd say it's a lot more like a Tekken-style 3D fighter. It's not entirely 2D, but you don't run around in a big arena like you do in the Naruto games.

Of course, the Jojo Heritage for the future is better, but still, if we're comparing it to the other arena fighters, I can't think of a better one.

ASB is the best fanservice game, but it's a terrible fighter.
