It's a really good adventure RPG. You should emulate it, one of Squaresoft's most underrated games.

Legend of Dragoon

it's more of a zelda-like game but with a bit of an overhead view

Vagrant Story in VR like Moss.

Parasite Eve in the Decima engine.

Xenogears with the full FFVIIR treatment, even if its split into 10 parts at $60 each, I would guzzle the cum out of SE's droopy cock to get disc 2 playable and the rest of the game looking cinematic.

It's a 3D adventure game with simplistic melee combat that still holds up well remarkably. You can absorb enemies to use their powers, unlock new abilities to enhance exploration, and it's just a very charming game. It you like adventure games at all you probably dig it.

It's most similar to Zelda. Kinda of splits the middle of 2D/3D Zelda style. Excellent game though.

Brave Fencer Musashi is 100% SOUL

when i was a kid it was one of those things that kept me from replaying it. once you have the L-belt it's not too tough though, even though the 2nd time is a little bit harder

Speedrunners found a way to skip both steamwoods I think. but they're pretty tough tricks, i was able to get it once out of like 50 times

I want a Splatterhouse survival horror remake. Only unlike most horror games your character is very powerful and he can even lift monsters up by the neck with one arm. Basically he'd have supernatural type of strength similar to Michael Myers and similar killers from horror movies. Yes I am aware they did a reboot but that isn't my vision for the remake.

This, the game is perfectly fine by most metrics, it's just graphically dated.
But even then the cartoonish style prevents it from being fugly tier.

I just want a sequel.
I love the game, but I've beaten it fifty times.

possibly unpopular opinion but the gameplay of this has aged pretty well. Being able to remap controls natively is cool. Anything resembling platforming sucks dick, but the gunplay has aged well.

Character design matters. If you suddenly change your character from a somewhat respected looking character and turn him into a FF/Kingdom Heart reject, of course this would put fans off and not buy the game.

character design by Nomura, what did you expect. Regardless many of the gameplay elements (such as taking the abilities of enemies and using them to solve puzzles) remained the same

I agree with you, but it holds up a bit better than the watershed console shooters of the time, namely Goldeneye.
