I would rather them make White Knight Chronicles 3 first. Everyone else hated it, but it's one of those rare games that comes along that feels like it was made specifically for you to suit your personal tastes. At least for me, everyone else has a lower IQ and they can fuck off.

Jade Cocoon is fantastic. You could download and be playing it on an emulator in less than 15 minutes. You have no excuse not to, seriously, you won't regret it.

While there's clear differences, the progression, encounter design, writing and tone are more akin to FF 1-10 than WoFF is. WoFF is a far more generic JRPG with a different style entirely that uses FF iconography as a crutch. It's not a bad game, but it's less Final Fantasy in design than those games are.

Make sure you add Medarot G and Navi. Medabots AX removed most of the story mode and replaced all the medabots and characters with the ones from the anime.
