Dude anybody with first world internet could run that server what a raspberry pi. You could tell by how jittery everyone else was that all the server did was just relay people's positions. There was no lag compensation or collision checking on the server end of things. That's why hackers could run amok. It's a very simple server that cost basically nothing to run. You can probably run a box to do this if you don't want to post it on your own network for a maybe $15.

It was fun while it lasted! Im glad that i got referenced a bit in a few Yea Forums posts, and I am so glad, i got to see people try out my Reimu skin the past few days. I only have a few videos of me testing out Reimu; nothing too interesting thats worth a release of footage, but its good to know people made it to victory with her multiple times

First night of me playing was a riot seeing all the cunny and n word names. those were classic, but it was like a new gift seeing the new Yea Forums names every time you refreshed a page.
It was funny as fuck seeing that one guy and other cheatfags do paragraph posting over being banned to gay baby jail for cheating. You also had the classic starnigger jokes. The Yea Forums threads were through the roof; hitting bump limits every hour.
Then, they did the dmca patch, so Yea Forums had to use their own skins. A big thank you to the first people to get the mario skins back. It was great seeing the kirby and mimiga skins. they were probably the most common of the skins. that chitoge and ayasaki skin were so ambitious and great to see. Despite the DMCA royale era being a great experience on Yea Forums, it just wasnt as popular as Mario Royale.
By Monday, you have to admit, it was dead. threads were getting archived instead of hitting bump limits. I played just 5 hours ago, and there were no people in the Yea Forums squad and the daily thread had archived. by that point i knew it was dead.
In a way, im kind of glad it got taken down, so it didnt fade out like one user said, but its pretty sad seeing it go

Like many things on the internet; it was a one time thing that you had to be there to experience. There was not much footage of Yea Forums squad as far as i could tell.
