It’s ok but it doesn’t compare to the original DS release, imo. It’s not bad if you want to play TWEWY for the first time but if you want the authentic experience, go for the DS version.

They nerfed the combat. You can't fully control your partner anymore unless you do single co-op, but now your partner is invincible, you can stun lock bosses now with their new partner up mechanic, and you lose half of the boss fight because it only focuses on Neku's screen. All the new features just gimps or trivializes fights or overall just makes them less interesting that the DS version.

Kingdom Hearts 3. I got diagnosed with a rare cancer last year and Kingdom Hearts 3 was the only thing that was keeping me going. Then I played it, realized I had been through the worst life had to offer (cancer, not the game, I loved the game), and that there would be no point in ever killing myself since I might as well had done it before cancer.

Now I'm cancer free and while still pretty depressed, I am no longer suicidal.

Judging by his tweet, he seemed to be a fan of it.
