I used to love EGS but the devs have really gone the wrong direction lately, it's getting overly convoluted and too focused on survival rather than building. I made a ton of workshop blueprints back in the day and some of them were even decently popular, but it takes the fun out of it when so few people will actually be able to use them in real games and multiplayer servers, and the new faction mechanics and stuff mean you have to build everything for combat now, which really restricts your creative options.

That's an option but it just takes so damn long to get to the point where you can do that now, used to be you could at least build a bunker-buster SV pretty quick but now you've gotta travel all over the galaxy just to get the parts to make basic rocket launcher ammo and stuff. Maybe it's better now that the deconstructor is a thing.
