They only managed to plagiarise botw in the most shallow ways possible. BotW doesn't work beacuse of the grassy plains, or the hmusic, or climbing anything. It works because the devs managed to achieve a degree of interactivity and tangibility of the world that is on par with the scale of an open world game.
This game looks good only up to the point it stops knowing how to plagiarice botw. That's where the mmorpg stench kicks in.

Genshin impact will work to some extent, but it lacks the foundations of what made BotW a success, like it or not.
