Well the spaghetti code complaint is pretty legit since it can make playing with larger maps a motherfucking nightmare, including maps made by the creator of brutal doom, which is pretty funny. Personally I use a combo of nashgore and universal gibs since it has nice, chunky doom-style blood and doesn't reduce a game from 1993 to single digit framerates on huge maps.

Most prominent Japanese and Korean mods are hosted on Nexus these days. If you're a casual that's probably all you'll need.
However if you want to follow the rabbit hole then you'll find lots of Japanese/Korean/Taiwanese mods distributed on their own blogs, tumblrs, twitters and Flickrs. Guys like Misuzu, Haijin and Gomapero. These are usually smaller, more personal character mods shared occasionally. Stuff like skins, makeups, ENBs, hair styles, followers, presets, accessories, gear, poses, bodyslide conversions, occasional house/island mod etc.
Some Korean modders such as CoCo, Nini and Team TAL have their own Patreons for the armors they make/port.

There isn't a centralized website for all of these niche cosmetic waifu stuff but there's ESkyrim at least which tracks down more obscure armors and conversions.

For Chinese mods you'll need to infiltrate 3DM and 9damao. Their waifus are pretty cute but downloading from pan.baidu is next to impossible these days. However there are download request threads for these sites on Loverslab.

Mods are veneers for bad games.
When you say you like a game that you modded, you are basically giving a bad recommendation, which. let's face it, will probably be taken at face value.
Pretty much any game can be improved with mods, and why not? The issue is that the developer of the game gets more money while other people fix their broken trash shovelware for free.
You see this a lot with early access cashgrabs. A dev will get the game to a 'good enough to cashout' state and dump it. If they implement any drastic changes in the future, it will typically be changes that had been implemented better by mods for years.
Minecraft is a famous example of this.

It's not that I dislike mods, but they encourage companies to be even lazier, greedy bastards, and we might be better off without them.

A map collection is hardly a mod user.

I've see Koreans complain about one of their own stealing presets but they didn't take down their mods from Cafe.Naver, they just reported him to the Nexus and he was banned from there. That guy's stolen mods are still hosted on 3DM by Chinks but Koreans didn't take down their mods in protest.
There was YuiH who stopped making followers because one Russian guy was stealing his mods and reselling them. But Yuih didn't take down his older followers as a result of that. And YuiH is Taiwanese not Japanese.

You'll find people taking down mods much much more in the west. And not even because of valid reasons such as community encouraging thievery. Struggle: Antaresian Legacy is good shit. Just the right mix of 90s aesthetics and modern design, not too heavy on the slaughter, and a bunch of appreciable changes and additions to the enemy roster to spice things up.

I've recently seen a lot of contrarians on Yea Forums who say that mods are bad and corrupt the developer's vision of a game. Personally, I think it's people baiting mostly, but if they're being serious, they must literally be retarded. What is wrong with personally tailoring a game to suit your taste by downloading free content made by passionate fans who just want to have a good time and make some more content for their favorite game? It fosters a good community and increases the longevity of a game by a massive amount. The only people who I can legitimately see hating mods are console players who are just jealous and spiteful since for the most part they can't have them

Zandronum is so saturated with Brutal Doom and Complex Doom servers, I have no idea how BRfags are keeping those boring ass servers alive.

You can always just join other servers. There's plenty of them.

It's for really long-range shots. It's pretty small on that rifle because it's not supposed to be good. Other rifles have better scopes that are larger, have better zoom capability, and even offer bullet drop adjustment. Really nice way to implement a scope that hinders your awareness when you use it without plastering a black PNG over the screen.

I fucking downloaded Sunder yesterday just to look at the latest map after hearing how fucking big it is. I refuse to believe that is possible without overkill mods.
