Yeah, divekick nigga

It's possible even without the double jump. Just do the air kick technique with some shoes.

What? Is that a kick technique?

No hold down after the double jump and press x again. The kick technique that also works is a quarter circle input.

Oh okay thanks.

If you have the double jump, you can dive kick with jump + diagonal down in the direction you want to kick in. The weapon equipped is irrelevant, you can do this in some other Igavania games too. Essentially, the idea is to bounce off monsters and candles, you can also access the chest you haven't opened up yet at the bottom of the galleon.

With boots, you can use a technique for aerial kicks for better horizontal distance.

Holy crap, didn't even know this existed. Thanks.

When i killed this guy he at first went like
>EEEEEE
But then he was like
>OOOOOOOOOOOOO

This demonstration here isn't quite 1:1 since my Miriam has got some extra movement speed, but the same principle applies.

Just do this, fireball motion with boots equipped

That eye and some other spell effects go so well with the shoe weapons. Makes me think of Akuma.

I had a thought that you'd be able to do this, good to see it wasn't just a pipe dream. Too bad it's largely useless regardless.

It's possible to reach it at the beginning of the game. You just need to equip the kung fu shoes and UNE DEUX TROIS your way across.

Where do I find onions broth? This old bitch can eat and I hate her quest line.

>Boots don't have a charge attack
>Can't thai kick Dominique straight to hell

There is no onion broth item in the game

DOMINIQUE
OUTO

where the FUCK do I go after I get the invert power?

Onions broth.

Have you tried going up the sides of the towers?

THAI
KICKU

You'll need to collect a certain piece of equipment from the towers. Where to go after that will likely occur to you immediately.

I have the armor that protects you from hazards but I don't know how to get passed the iron maidens

You never used claw guy's shard on them earlier?

Blue chests in the Oriental Sorcery Lab.

That's such obtuse bullshit, god this game is garbage.

>Game shows craftwork grabbing objects with a white glow during the fight
>Iron maidens have the exact same white glow
This game is stupidly obtuse at times, but that isn't one of them.

Isn't it foreshadowed at one point at least? They also have a track on the ground.

At no point did the game indicate they were moveable, I tried that damn claw all over the game and it was only ever good for grabbing things and putting in on other things. This is such bullshit. Literally no one would get this unless they looked it up on a guide.

It just makes sense, user. They have tracks. Anything with tracks is a safe bet for a movable object.

>Crate in Galleon has a white glow, you can push it and YOU HAVE TO if you wanna proceed through the ship
>hand boss throws objects at you and at the moment that you get the shard to move those specific objects they keep one for you to test it in that room which also glows white
>iron maidens have that white glow as well and there's one in the garden which you should've seen before
woooooow

you stink

There's also an iron maiden blocking a pathway in the gardens, so I suspected there was a way around it and it turned out the object-lifting power worked on them and not just bookcases. The much more vague ones in my opinion are:

>The Jellyfish having the shard required to traverse underwater initially, as passives first for that kind of thing were often the norm in Igavania
>The spike protection armor's placement, Zangetsu may have had a message arrow for it but you can use Invert in numerous other places

Maybe the train pass as well but I figured that out after consulting NPCs.

Fucking everything has glows on it it's part of the visual style. This is some bullshit cope. if they wanted to make it clear that you could use it on that they should have indicated this clearly. Tutorial tip: if anything has this very specific visual glow you can interact with it with this shard. WOuldn't have been so hard now would it?

But Noooo, you've got to defend obscure bullshit.

Those all made sense and I 100% got those, they never indicated you can move the iron maidens.

Is this why games are so handholdy nowadays? Imagine if classic Castlevania were just coming out today. I mean the regular ol' platformer.

do the triple kick cancel/combo

What do those blue icons represent?

It just keeps happening. Why is it Maridia tubes always make kids these days seethe?

someone accidentally pressing the b button and leaving a marker

you've been clicking a button on random parts of the map and then not realizing you've been placing markers like some oblivious dummy

>bored
>played the entire game in Japanese
>Favorite character is O.D.
>Wonder how Belgrade did
>He's always been shit but I'm curious

To think people actually like this trash

>Imagine if classic Castlevania were just coming out today.

Well, Bloodstained had Curse of the Moon come out last year, mind you.

You've marked the map several times. You can remove them, try using them when you find something you can't reach or bypass until later.

>One guy spent $1000 just to have his VA Banepost in the game

It must be hard now that Valve doesn't need people like you to playtest their games.

Why is no one posting big fat tits ITT

because there ain't much porn and all of it is shit

Oh well have fun with your game then.
Is it any good? Never did catch its name.

Both cases the playtesters were right, these are things that needed to be changed. Making your main path obtuse and obscuring where you need to go is always a terrible idea and just plain bad game design.

But this is obvious if you've ever played a video game before.

>boss picks up big grey rectangles during the fight
>shard lets you pick up big grey rectangles
>there's a slightly different big grey rectangle 10 feet away from the one you have to move for progress
Wait a minute...

that rectangle....

It's not and you'd know that if you read the thread.

Just beat the blood bitch on my second try. Kinda simple when you understand the pattern but that was really tense. Most enjoyable castlevania boss I've fought in a while.

Man, I can't get the timing down to be pulling off chain kicks like that. It's not as easy as a fireball in street fighter. Any advice on being able to do that in the air?
