The materia system has been scapped

I'm really trying to give this thing a chance, but I doubt they're doing this to implement a new system, just more dumbing down of what was already a pretty simple but deep combat system.
It's like SE is run by complete fools.

I don't really remember a ton of the materia from 7 but I'm willing to guess that some of them don't translate very well into a more actiony combat system. Optimistically, of course.

I can see why they'd wanna remove certain materia like 4xCut which is useless in a action combat system.
I hope we get new ones to compensate for that.

You dumb niggers keep falling for clickbait. What's probably going to happen is that independent and some of the other shit that gave you extra effects and interacted differently is getting axed to keep it simple. It's probably just going to be mostly Green/Red/Yellow materia with maybe a couple of simple ones like Elemental.

There were w couple of gimmicky opponents, though.
SE will make battles as braindead as FFXV or XC2 were. A mobile game, essentially. Remake will most definitely be absolute garbage.
