There has been an user making a bunch of dumb claims about the weapons in AE but he's spot on about the enemies in AE. Game locks its vast roster to each episode, so you never get a chance to fight against a whole lot of combinations of enemies outside the arena mode. Dusk is way better in this regard, even if the levels aren't as intricate and admitedly, AE uses the level geometry for its encounters better than Dusk.

That's probably the only weakness of the game. But overall, it feels way more polished and professionally made than Dusk imo.

I'm not sure, AE does have lower lows than Dusk. Namely episode 3 and some of ep5.

The episodes are way too short, three regular levels and 1 boss level. Everything else about the game is great though.
