Sorry, sir. Only Yea Forumsirgins who grew up playing DOS games are allowed in
May i get in?
I played Turtles in Time on DOS, on a Commodore 64. Here's a penny, keep up the good work.

"Hello I am the Witcher 3 of 90'"
Rocking Tryian, of course sir.
well why's he already opening the door then?
it should be closed
you better have Jill in there
was tibia supposed to look like the exact same game?
I still have my boxed copy.
GOTY AY RACING GAME

love this music
Tibia literally stole several sprites from Ultima
Holy fuck, I've been here for over 12 years and this is literally the second time I've ever seen another user who played this game.
>shit combat
>fetch quest
Witcher 3 indeed
The game was too hard for my 5-6 year old brain but god I had fun with it. I remember the first password was ACCESS.
I played this one game that I had on a floppy disk, it was a MS-DOS game
I remember because on the task bar it said MS-DOS so I thought that was the name of the game for years.
It was actually uh, Parachute I think? You control a machine gun on the bottom and shoot people and planes out of the sky.
Oh I just looked it up and found a pic, it was actually Paratrooper holy shit this takes me back. Aw man I haven't seen this thing in years almost decades. I can't believe it, the colors are how I remember them too. Man I miss shooting those guys and spraying the bullets everywhere The nostalgia is too much
>tfw no one played this game but me
>i loved it
hello my fellow boomers
SUP
Hello
Do you remember this game was the dark souls of DOS back then.
So many good games I played on DOS growing up. I don't miss setting up IRQ for Sound Blaster nor extending EMS memory
Good evening
No problem, my man. Any sluts in attendance this eve?
Helps when my pic attaches.
Boomer games only I’ve played.
Savage Empire.
I remember getting excited that I could use boomerangs in it.
Rate my husbando, Yea Forums.
I had a CD full of random DOS games that I don't even remember as a kid, I think it was a friend of my parents that gave it to me. Shit was cash, I wish I still had it so I could identify the really fun ones.
Close the fucking door man, you're letting a breeze in
Sorry I thought this was the place for sophisticated handheld gamers like myself.
yes dude skyroads is based one of my first pc games
I played theme park on a Windows 95. Does it count?
it really was. me and my dad got to level 3 but never beat it
I’m 18 and I played this shit as a kid as well as runescape for some reason. Can I get in or what?
It's part of a puzzle you're supposed to solve, you absolute zoomer.
hi
1997fag here. For me, it's Test Drive and Digger.
I’m Bill Gates and what is this?
This game taught me at an early age that life isn't fair.
I grew up playing Doom and Quake and that's still all I play today. I regret nothing.
Who was the green dude with the suction cup hands? That was my jam.
Star Control 2 was way way ahead of its time.
The midi music is top notch.
>tfw you try to become a god.
I played dangerous dave at some point.
Tyrion came packaged with windows-loaded Acer desktops. You are a fraud.
Now for me, it was Qbasic Gorillas and The Incredible Machine launched from DOS and dosshell on a PC that I killed time on during the six months of 7th grade I spent suspended in a resource room.
>Fate of Atlantis
That was my jam
>Now for me, it was Qbasic Gorillas and The Incredible Machine launched from DOS
My man. I never knew how to play Gorillas, but some of my most fond memories are with my little brother trying to find out how to calculate the wind or put high values for max speed for giggles
Anyone else play Spit Wad Willy?
I swear I played some pacifist version of this on an aviation edutainment game.
wow that brings back some memories
I win.
Pic related because I forgot
It'll be always weird for me to look up the games I played as a child and find pics in color. I don't remember having a "technicolor" monitor until early 2000s and every memory I have playing in my PC is filled in black and white.
I played a ton of Blood, does that count?
What if we got started on the Commodore 64?
I'd post a picture of the gorillas game where you input a number for angle and trajectory to throw an explosive banana at the other monkey on top of buildings, but hrioshimoot won't let me post images
I grew up playing this, reader rabbit, some random snake game, and Oregon trail at school. Most schools weren't going to bother overhauling their edutainment games libraries so would just keep DOS games well into the Win98 era.
did you have older siblings 4-6 years older than you
nah I just have a 15 y/o brother
>3rd/4th/5th grade, late 90s
>If we were good the comp teacher would let us play this DOS game about a dude with a salad shooter
>can never remember the name but still think about it every now and then
Reporting in.
Corncob 3D is cool as heck though, didnt play it as a kid but played it a couple of months ago.
get this pasty fat kid into mcdonalds and get a proper bouncer image for these threads you fucks
Something similar happened to me, but it was this math game
Abuse / Worms / Earthworm Jim / Syndicate / Populous 2
hurry the fuck up
I played the SHIT out of Dark Legions as a kid, and I have never seen it mention on Yea Forums or /vr/.
Maniac Mansion and an erotic version of Tetris called Sextris were my childhood. Good shit.
>pic related
I have a lot of sad memories about this game. Do this count?
I was born in 1999. Already posted. It's too late you retarded Boomer.
could never figure out how to use the explosive disks
Bro, the bouncer blob is gone, but don't go in there.
Yes!!! So much fun
THIS GAME
I played it all the time as a kid. You must remind me the name, please!
I played Supaplex and Transport Tycoon.
Here are my credentials sir
>tfw was always too scared to face the first swordman
>implying you could move him regardless
Raptor: Call of the Shadows
Thank you very much.
one white monster my man
Such as? And Tibia came out before UO.
Stfu kid.
>tfw no darklands remake
Real gamers played sharewares from the cds/floppys given at computer swapmeets.
I was born in '98 but loved dungeon crawlers from an early age, and played a lot of retro stuff because my computer was utter garbage.
>sharewares
Only a handful of companies did that. Most just did the usual tiny ass demos or nothing.
Those tiny ass demo CDs lasted you weeks. Ah, the time when Eidos wasn't shit.
I played Dangerous Dave and Jill of the Jungle at one point as a kid, do they count? Also some shitty Wolf3D clone in a haunted mansion.
did yours come with columns? Mine did. And I got sonic and shinobi too. Used to bring it with me for bus ride to cub scouts.
I played F1 Manager Professional recently. Seriously busted game, and Grand Prix World is better in my opinion but there are so many great ideas in there.
Out of my way bouncer
Excellent policy my friend by Ill think you will find I am in fact elligible.
Which way to the VIP lounge?
fug my neghole jolt cola
>the dark souls of DOS
this meme is going way to far
This, Golf, and Hoyle Card games were my shit until I got Kings Quest
youtube.com
LEMME IN
Bought it at full price at launch and didn't like it at all. Maybe I need to play it again 20 years later now that I'm older and wiser
Try the reboot. The took out some of the stuff that made it a drag and updated it a bit. It might appeal to you more now.
*block your path*
have you paid your seminal reparation, Player1?
I had this shit.
played a lot of ZZT/MegaZeux as a kid and made some simple levels
Is Amiga allowed?
Whats up guys?
Probably shouldn't have held the door open then retard
can you put the sunglasses on the Naga?
>your job is to keep a door closed
>open it
Fuck, I used to play a game like this except it wasn’t a sidescroller you could actually fly your plane anywhere, but it has a similar aesthetic and top down view like that game. Anyone know what it might be called?
I used to play this over the top pushing puzzle game where you controlled some kind of gnome or something. I've been trying to figure out what the fuck it was for the last 20 years.
Was it a space game? Solar Winds?
It's already coming back to me.
The music was mysterious and otherworldly, but still bitching.
It was Raptor for me.
>
BRAIN GANG WW@
Nah you mostly flew over oceans from what I remember
You used to have to boot into DOS to install demos from the pcgamer demo disc, took me awhile to figure out how to do it.
>Blond Chad saves the world and bullies/fucks savages
That game could never be made today.
Ruined franchise/10
Playing the demo this on a single keyboard in versus with a friend after school - good times.
Lemme in.
What is the origin of this picture again?
my user
after rediscovering the game 10+ years later, playing it again was extremely surreal as I didn't even know how the game works but had the first couple of maps in muscle memory.
Still a fun game to play today. That Title Screen jingle will always be stuck in my head.
I'm coming in.
commander keen was the shit
>tfw poor family could never afford to upgrade to the paid version
Does any of you know or remember about another Supaplex clone with a rabbit as main character. It played pretty much the same as Supaplex but you had to gather cabbages instead. If you took too long to finish a level the usual green cabbages would become yellow, impossible to collect and they'd behave like rocks. I believe that they also began multiplying around until you had nowhere to move. When the rabbit died he'd do this sitting animation and his head turning into bare skull. I've been trying to find that game for years now.
I'm pretty sure I fit in, chums.
