Among all the weird ass shit that comes out of Japanese mythology, the origins of the Yuki-Onna is one of the more peaceful and mundane, as protectors and guides. In the few cases where they do kill people, there's often an out which usually comes with a boon. Once the legends across Japan sort of molded together, the Yuki-Onna was established as some generic snow succubus, then later going back to more peaceful versions where they spare or help people out of a blizzard instead as long as the person is kind.

She's one of the demons in SMT that I never fuse. Well except when I have the skills needed to make a super demon so I could have her with everything needed to fight the really strong optional bosses with. I realize I could just use endgame demons and save myself a lot of grinding, but fuck that shit.
