DBD used to be fun, I think Michael and no terror radius is the closest i've ever come to shitting myself.
I wish this game stayed vanilla, screaming about the Hillbilly's chainsaw across the map, getting trapped, and the wraith appearing ontop of you was fun as fuck with friends. That magic will never again be captured cause they constantly fuck with the meta and abilities and now theres like 50 killers all of whom are basically the same.

Playing killer in low ranks was some of the most fun I've ever had in a multiplayer game, it was like I actually was a slasher chasing down dumb teenagers, players genuinely got frightened and took it semi seriously. Then I ranked up and it was nothing but swf groups and try hard twitch streamers. I want to go back. Casual mode when?

Ruin will never be removed as long as the current gen-fixing-to-escape gameplay remains as is, and the gen-fixing gameplay will never change because the devs will never make any changes to the game that isn't bandaids on top of bandaids. Significant gameplay changes will never happen.

The killer population would be obliterated if they just up and remove ruin and the devs know that.

Honestly the only power that ruin has is that it makes people actually look for it and make them waste time not doing gens. Even if you're not hitting great skillchecks constantly ruin isn't that hard to overcome, it just takes longer than normal.
