I'll one-up you: I record footage of almost all games I play on the off-chance something hella epic happens that I can't replicate, I have 10 3TB harddrives for this purpose.

>not using shadowplay or a replay buffer
>if something happens you can save the last x amount of minutes
i only ever take screenshots if i see something rare, monumental, or funny enough that it should be saved. why people just hit F12 while playing randomly and share them with the world, i will never know
and nothing you've ever recorded has ever been worth showing to anyone, has it?
i like taking snapshots of the journey
I did this in mario odyssey, was so excessive I filled up a couple gigs
I fight the urge now
I do, but I lost a bunch of them.
almost do the same, but only if it's something that isn't that interesting to see like a stat reaching 100000 or the like until you look back on it
>tfw finding Battlefield 2 screenshots from 2007
i have 5783 screenshots according to my steam profile
Post your highest rated steam screenshot.
Game is Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion with a star wars mod.

I mostly take screenshots of pretty lighting for some reason.

Vice City would be like the only game I would raelly want to see RTX in
>he doesn't take photos of his games with a kodak disposable camera, develop the film at the nearest pharmacy, pick it up the next day and put it in a plastic wallet photo holder to show to people at bars that he got the highest score at area 51 in his local film theater lobby
Get on my level.
What is your favorite vehicle in the game? I see a lot of motorcycles. I loved the sabre turbo.
Skellies are fun
sentinel
Wish you were here
Dude I relate to you SO much, it's crazy. I do this too.

I remember liking the stinger a lot, probably because I have a thing for convertibles.
I like taking screenshots depending on what I'm playing, e.g., recently played through the first three zones of Secret World and took many a screen.
Eh, I'd rather wait a couple more years until the effects and performance are actually decent.
oceanside is really the best, you need to try playing the game in 4k with some sparse grid super sampling
I used to take tons of screenshots. Stopped a couple years ago and don't really take many anymore, not sure why.
BASED GRID 1
get vice city in PS2 emulator, thats the only way you'll get the proper lighting
Ocean drive really is pretty. Makes me want to cruise around vc aimlessly.
How did you make mass effect look this good?
1440p downsampling, and MEUITM
Thanks!
brightness too low
I know, old screenshots.
No problem! I took these in what looks like 2014, willing to bet the mod has improved since then and you could probably squeeze 4k downsampling out of a modern card pretty easy.
How can you check that?
I used to, yeah. It sort of felt like being a photographer enjoying something visually beautiful or cool that I want to capture for all time. Then I grew older and realized, why am I bothering? This is all shit that's been seen by millions of people, it was handcrafted by man, there's nothing special to it. It's shallow and futile, so I gave it up.
Man, Vice City and GTA3's Liberty City are so damn comfy
So you're just too dumb to use Shadowplay, or Replay Buffer? Or you're a filthy Let's Player

Nah, I do it all the time.
I used to.
Only if I can remove the HUD
JAWSOME
GARSHUNK
Why don't you just delete the recordings if nothing interesting happens?
Sometimes I wish that were the case.
Sometimes.
I only have screenshots of ragdoll physics and this one location in D44M
A few from spiderman, but mostly no.
Yes, I am playing at 896 x 504 resolution
