Is this the real pleb filter?

Is this the real pleb filter?

I had much more trouble with the dual mushrooms fight.

I like how Soul Warrior and Soul Master look like of like Darth Vader and the Emperor

I’m getting filtered at the end of the game

I’ve broken the seals but the thing says I’m only 83% complete

And all the optional bosses and the Colosseum are filtering me hard

HOW THE FUCK DO YOU BEAT PURE VESSEL

Hit him with the nail.

I see you paid attention to the precepts

Explore more, I was over 100% by endgame.

>Watcher Knights
that was my pleb filter
dude lmao 6 man gank nigger squad

Watcher Knights are the hardest boss I've fought so far and I'm 21 hrs in.

The whole game is pleb filter. If you unironically like this game, you're a pleb. Pretty simple

They're designed to be scary, but once you realize that their moveset is extremely predictable and easy to dodge, they aren't very hard. Focus down one at a time, you should be able to keep it to only 1 or 2 on screen at a time.

jump away from him as soon as he does anything
don't bother healing, use spells for maximum damage
shadecloak towards him when he summons nail projectiles
the key to dodging is jumping and moving away
hit him when the opportunity arises

Also there's a secret area above the boss room that lets you drop a chandelier on one of them before the fight, which kills them

Hollow Knight doesn't have any pleb filters. If you can get past the first Hornet fight every boss that you need for the true ending is beatable with sufficient patience. Almost all troubles for even slightly competent players come from not being patient and waiting for opportunities during fights. It's rarely failing to dodge projectiles, it's usually trying to sneak in a second hit that gets you in trouble. Especially once you get the upgraded dash, at which point avoiding damage is fairly trivial. Some of the optional content, especially the pantheon of hallownest is fucking nasty difficult though.

pleb filter is NKG

I struggle getting him to half health. Between him and pantheon I think I'll just stick to 105% don't even care that I got filtered rest of the game was great.

How are we feeling HK bros

pretty big right now

Like I don't base my enjoyment of a game based on the opinion of others. I do, however, still prefer Hollow Knight to Bloodstained.

just started playing
just beat hornet
why are some areas of the map greyish while others are black? does it mean anything?
also how do i figure out where to go next? I only found this hornet place because i had to check every exit 1 by 1 in the previous map which wasnt exactly fun to do

yeah im on the pantheons, but the first time i fought those fuckers i was pissed and closed the game immediately

>also how do i figure out where to go next?
Just explore brah. If you get really stuck then look up a guide.

I did it, thanks user. Dashing into the projectiles was the key.

>Just explore brah.
damn. im not really a fan of this "well just killed a boss time to backtrack and waste 1 hour until i happen upon the next area"
are there really no developer hints or something?

lmao that's a metroidvania for you

If you don't enjoy exploration, you're in the wrong genre

Uninstall then you brainlet

>precept 58: if you can't beat 'em, cuck 'em

then you should play another game

he's not that hard once you figure out how each of his moves is dealt with. for example, when he does the dashing into uppercut shit, just walk a bit in the opposite direction and smack him right before he rises, then stand still and the fire shouldn't hit you.

Good I guess? I like both games, so seeing them both have good scores is nice

>waste 1 hour until i happen upon the next area
Turbo brainlet

i enjoy exploration, but not backtracking.

This. Do a few fights where you don't even try to hit him, just learn how to dodge each of his attacks

You are definitely in the wrong genre then lmao

Well bad thing for you Metroidvanias tend to have both
