For single versus, no. It's king of the hill (I think that's what its killed).
You have spectator seats, and 2 people playing, it rotates the loser out to spectator section and so forth

I really, REALLY wanted this game to succeed because I loved the series for so long, but honestly half a year wait for PC and Switch might be the obstacle for this game to achieve stable community globally. Really it is the least surprising tier list ever. Kyoshiro will probably end up in C after some stuff is found (his WFT is apparently really good for certain situations), Earthquake will probably become a bit easier to deal with and maybe Yoshitora will go up. And the slutty evil waifu character isn't high tier? Say it ain't so!

But it is where stuff always ends up for the series. To me it says they copied the SamSho formula right.

Trash normals, Teleport has no invincibility frames, so she can be poked even when she is visually gone from the screen. Has the worst DP in the game (with invincibility frames). Running normals are cool but extra trash tier and will get you killed.

Pros: Best Rage/Super in the game. One of the fastest moment speeds in the game.

I mean there is still loads to find out, but SamSho isn't the hardest game to figure out and a lot is in line with older titles. If a character has really obvious strong stuff they will most likely remain pretty strong. The characters who have been strong since 1993 have remained strong.

I expect characters to get better more than we see some drop. Figuring out situational stuff will take a long time but Ukyo will still shit on everyone.

I think issen is one of those things people will realise is weaker with time. The best use for it is right at the end of the last round, lot of people want to burst round 1 when they have no meter (so it does less damage) and it screws them over for the rest of the match. Having rage is so important for a lot of characters, it actually changes how some moves work. People even say Yashamaru jumps a few tiers with rage on.

I'd be fine if they removed the invincibility though, maybe keep projectile invincibility.

All the pro players are saying those characters are good/trash.

And to think, they're gonna be releasing two major games every year starting next year. It has the potential to be very sweet. Very sweet, indeed.

Haohmaru is so clearly a lion in this game. He has the easiest links from jump ins and xx into specials. Other characters need to connect DEEP with jumping medium slash into light or medium, then special... if they can at all. It's not bad, just makes him more of an all rounder, as it always was.
